It is incredibly stressful dealing with these things, and that's why I choose Farmers instead of some fly by night insurance for my home. I've had many insurance companies and agents these last 4 decades and no one comes close to this team. This wonderful team makes my family feel important every time we are in contact and makes sure we have the best possible coverage we can afford. They notify us in writing and email if there is any changes or possible changes we may have in our policies and make sure we understand fully what the coverages are.     I guess the yelp world already knows how amazing Amy is but here's another review anyway…read more I've been with Farmers since 2012 when I bought my first car at 18 and both Marco(my previous agent) and Amy Bahm have been there for me and have made my life easier and went above and beyond for me. She has helped me to get a ton of discounts on my car insurance and helps me understand where my money is going. Every other Insurance agency I've spoken with also said they cannot match the rate I have with Farmers. I feel comfortable calling or emailing Amy for all my questions; whether it be about something I heard that might qualify me for a discount, or when my car got broken into, or when I need to get my title from the DMV, or really anything car-related. She answers my questions right away and is very easy to talk to, she makes me feel like she has my best interest at heart. Amy also recommended an agent for my brother who lives in Nevada and his bill was cut in half. Did you know Farmers offers discounts for professional scientists? Yeah Amy helped hook that up for me too. I also bundled my car insurance with renters insurance and got a discount for that.

    Inszone bought the accounts of our long time insurance company in San Mateo. We had our personal…read moreand business policies with them. First let me clarify. Mike is our commercial agent with Inszone. He has been great at communicating and handled our renewals and etc. in the past, so the following has no reflection on him. We recently evaluated our personal policies and found that what we are paying nearly 3x's more combined. On May 5th I sent Mike the actual quote from AAA to see if they could let me know what the process is to cancel the policy with Liberty Mutual (LM). Sadly he informed us he only handles our commercial policies and immediately shared our email with Thandarr for our personal line policies. On Friday, May 8th (3 business days later), I still had not heard from Thandarr. I emailed Thandarr to follow up and to request to also cancel our personal auto policy. Then shortly after I emailed him, I was told that if we did not have our homeowners or auto policy with LM that we could not keep our umbrella policy, so 50 minutes after I emailed Thandarr to ask to cancel the umbrella policy too. Since I had not heard from him at all and my first email was 3 business days ago, I asked on my last email of the day if he could cancel all 3 policies effective May 12th, which would give him additional 2 business days to process my request. Then on May 11th, I received an email from Heather stating that their office has processed the cancellation of the home & auto policies but no mention of a cancellation date. I replied to Heather 30 mins after her email asking her to confirm the cancellation date for the home & auto policies and asked her the status of cancelling the umbrella policy. Then on May 12th, since I had not heard back from Heather, I called her again; no answer but spoke with Joyce. Joyce said their records show our auto & home policies were cancelled as of May 5th and that the umbrella policy did not have a cancellation date. We were without coverage for a week. I asked on my emails for the cancellation date so I can make sure that our next policy starts on the same day and does not have a void in coverage. My emails specifically requested a cancellation date prior to asking for the May 12th cancellation date. Heather finally called back. She blamed Thandorr for the "miscommunication." She stated that Thandarr forwarded her our May 5th email and that was the only email she had. That can't be true because on May 5th, I only asked about the process of cancelling the home policy. Heather's first email stated the office processed the cancellation of both the home & auto policies. If she only got the email from May 5th, then how did she know about the auto policy cancellation, which wasn't until May 8th? She also stated that the umbrella policy was automatically cancelled since we cancelled the other 2 policies. I told her that is not true because Joyce confirmed earlier that the umbrella policy did not have a cancellation on the account. Also, I was surprised that no one tried to reach out. I would think that if someone emails a quote from a competitor with the details that the agent would call and try to see if they can shop the current policy to keep a customer. Our previous agent in San Mateo would call every year before a policy was due to expire, and he did his homework beforehand to see if there was another carrier, better coverage, too much coverage, or a better rate. His customer service is what kept us loyal for over 20+ years and earned our clients business and referrals. On May 14th, Heather confirmed that the 3 policies were cancelled May 12th. We thought that was end of the saga and that we could put all of that behind us. Nope...the saga continues. On May 28th we received 2 bills by mail for the Auto & Home policies showing that both were cancelled on May 5th. We called Inszone and spoke with Valentine who stated on the phone to disregard both invoices because the account is paid in full and cancelled and the remaining balance was refunded. Today, we received a text from what looked like a spam but stated CREDIT COLLECTION SERVICES is a debt collector. We are trying to collect a debt that you owe to Liberty Mutual Insurance. When we logged on the Liberty Mutual app, we noticed that the 2 invoices that we received on May 28th were posted on our account and Liberty Mutual confirmed that the two invoices were sent to collections. She also confirmed that Inszone cancelled the policies for May 5th instead of the 12th. We wrote an email to Heather and Thandarr asking them to fix the situation. We've shared our past experience with the office with the goal of helping them improve their service in the future but it looks like further action is needed. Chris, as you will see, I didn't leave a negative review after what took place in May. I left the negative review today. If you'd like me to improve the rating, please improve and fix this situation immediately.

    Cleaned up spelling and updated outcome of reported issues…read more... The customer service department works out of Rancho Cordova. We made the mistake of attempting to save $28 / month by converting our Medicare part B from G Extra to G. We have been given the wrong information several times and as of this moment we have had the following happen. My insurance was canceled because they didn't understand why I am taking 5mg of ramapril. They never in the last 15 months disputed the reason I am take this drug and have been paying for it under the G extra plan. They never contacted us to ask for more information they just canceled my insurance. My wife and I had been on the same whole household discount. She was converted to the G plan, but after complaining that my insurance was canceled they didn't put me back on the whole household discount, they created a new separate plan with a new deductible at a higher cost. We got a bill saying I needed to pay for this on November 8. The next day I got a past due bill. This was in spite of the fact that on October 30th they withdrew $343 for our combined monthly G extra which means my insurance should be covered through the end of November. My wife has spent about 20 hours speaking to about 6 inept customer service reps and 3 supervisors. This issue has been going on for 3 weeks. The billing is extremely messed up and yet to be resolved. We are very concerned that this will not be corrected by the end of the month. I cannot in good conscious recommend Blue Shield of California..... Their customer service is not that at all! And why would an insurance company want a patient to explain why I am on a drug? Isn't that what doctors and pharmacists are for?!! Just three days ago, we asked Blue Shield to forget about changing it to the G plan and put us back on G extra together for the price we paid before. A wonderful rep named Stephany H actually worked with us and returned calls and followed up for the three days it took to make that change. The lesson is to never try to change plans when it is not within 60 days of a birthday. The Blue Shield MS Install department gets the request and they are terrible. We filed a Grievance on November 9th which they still have not responded to other than a letter saying they received it and they have 30 days. UPDATE: They had 30 days to respond and they dated their letter on December 9th. They said they checked and it appears as of November 20th to have changed back to where it was before. Therefore they considered it done. No aplogogy at all for all the stress they caused by cancelling my husband'sinsurance, putting us on a new plan which increased our costs, or the 10 plus hours we worked to get it back to the way it was because they could not manage to change the plans to the more inexpensive plan. Rating for their grievance department - D plus. If Stephany from the customer service department had not actually worked to change it, no supervisor had any idea how to correct it. The lesson is if you are new and considering Blue Shield of California, be aware that their underwriting department is awful - rating of F. If you are a current customer, do not let them tell you a change that goes through underwriting will be easy. It is not. We think we are ok now but will carry a bad memory of what they put us through.

My manager was rude I have recordings of him during our meetings telling me that Im not "Memorable" because I personally chose to just go to work, do the job and leave. I'm not into all that gossiping and telling people my business which they didn't like. I went through A miscarriage at that job and he had the nerve to ask me if I had children when he knew that I didn't and knew what I was going through. I didn't know how to go about reporting that place because it really made me feel depressed and it was the worst experience of my life...I went to Delta Dental and had a great/amazing experience there and it was a very positive work environment which I wasn't used to. The job itself at blue shield (In the concierge's department) Felt rewarding and the members would call just to speak to me and give me updates about how they are doing. The manager would lie and say that I wasn't doing well but my numbers and surveys were reflecting and saying otherwise.. this is not the job for you if you like to wear crowns, stick to yourself, not gossip, and just be more of a introvert. It has nothing to do with thinking you're better than anyone. Some people just can't stand the presence of people who stand on their own 2 feet And they will get their karma for how I was treated I didn't forget and I have documentation. Even though the jobs they called me for would be temporarily remote until April I still chose to pass because I do not want to work for a company who feels they can treat you like trash and allow management to do whatever the hell they want. Every time I try to post my review on indeed it doesn't let me do it because of inappropriate language. There's nothing inappropriate about my review and I will get what happened out there someway or another

At first the CSR was slow in communication then Michael Bunch took over our claim and he kept us informed by email and phone. We worked together and discussed the remediation company and the construction company. Remediation was suggested by plumbers. Michael let us know the situation along with when payments would be processed once they come to an agreement for repair cost. We did get involved and this helped the situation. If you have a claim by all means be informed and involved as much as possible. Michael gave me some good suggestions if we ever need to file another claim. Thank you Michael for all your help and support. It was great working with an agent who is understanding of the clients needs for resolution.

    Awful customer service! If I can rate lower than one star I would…read more We had been insured with them for years. We never had to call them for anything, till recently that i had to clarify some information we were having via email, if i would have know how awful their customer service was I would have gone with a different home insurance much sooner. I spoke to 3 males that have NO customer service, Daniel A work ID 2046 Jesus G work id 964 and another man a "manager" which at that point I didn't care to get his name. All three were very rude and disrepectful they were Mansplaining; I have always said its not what you say, its how you say things. Clearly they are not in right field, or need to be trained on how to speak to people. If you are looking for insurance DO NOT GET INSURED WITH PACIFIC SPEACIALTY!
