When I showed the app price, a female employee refused to honor the price match and the interaction escalated into an unprofessional argument instead of being handled calmly. A male employee even acknowledged that the item should be price matched, but the female employee still refused. After contacting customer service, I received conflicting information. I was initially told that a $2 refund had already been processed, then later informed that refunds under $5 cannot be issued. This contradiction required escalation and filing a complaint with the BBB just to get clear answers. Only after escalation to a supervisor did JD Finish Line provide a $50 goodwill reward, but no cash refund was ever issued for the pricing error. The BBB ultimately closed the case with the status: "Answered - the business addressed the issues, but the consumer remains dissatisfied." This situation could have been avoided entirely if store staff had simply honored the advertised price and handled the interaction professionally. Customers should not have to escalate to corporate and the BBB to resolve a basic pricing issue. I hope JD Finish Line improves store-level training and ensures employees follow advertised pricing and treat customers with respect.

The membership is $55 that you can cancel by the 6th of the month, but that's a lie. I've heard horror stories about people signing up for Fabletics memberships and not being able to cancel them. The only way to do so is to cancel your credit card that you used when you signed up. So the 2 shorts I selected were going to cost me $58 since I'm not crazy enough to pay more money and sign up for their membership ($24 members pricing plus $55 membership fee). A total ripoff unless you plan to purchase active wear from then on a regular basis. Side note: most of their biker shorts are completely see-through!
