I would normally shop Black-owned beauty supply stores for specifically Black hair care products, but I did not feel like driving all the way to Richway especially during rush hour traffic. Customer service here was subpar, which is usually expected with these type of businesses (Asian-owned in predominantly Black areas). I was not greeted upon entry. Fortunately, I wasn't followed around. They had a decent variety of products; however, not as much as Richway or even Beauty 21 (which isn't Black-owned, but the store has a large variety and I'm usually greeted). Prices here are about the same as most beauty supply stores. You need to purchase $5 worth of products to use a credit/debit card. I was thanked for my purchase, but not told to have a good day. I probably won't return unless I absolutely needed something and couldn't make it out to Richway or even Beauty 21 in time. I would have preferred to spend my money at Richway.

So we tried to verify if the signage was right and the coupon could be used. I walked the entire upstairs looking for a register to check/pay and couldn't find one or a single employee working up there. So I had to carry these huge pillows to the first floor - again - walking all around looking for an employee and a place to pay. The ladies at jewelry checked the price but said they had no idea about the sale and couldn't help me - I'd have to go stand in line and they pointed to the SINGLE register for the entire store apparently with like 12 people in line.
