Service was terrible and slow. The atmosphere was "fun" but not for everyone. The food was OKAY. Nothing special about this place, I personally would not come back nor recommend it. The mimosas was more OJ than champagne, if that says anything.

    Seafood platter

I visited here back in February after my nephew 's basketball game. It was around 11 p.m., and we didn't want the usual crap you get at a fast food place. When we arrived, the place looked more like a bar than a restaurant. However, seeing that they hired a policeman for security, I thought it would be safe enough to take a teenager. I ordered the seafood platter. It had a huge piece of fish, shrimp, crab cake, hush puppies, and a whole bag of fries. The food was very good. You could tell that whoever cooked it took pride in their job. The music was a little too loud, and the waitress never brought any refills on drinks. This was the only negatives. At night, it isn't very family friendly. But it is a good place to eat. Also, if you like watching 300lb. women wearing outfits meant for 100lb. women twerk, this is the place for you. They are borderline pornographic.

The chicken and waffle was delicious. I needed ranch with my chicken due to the lack of seasoning but it was still delicious. The service was impeccable.

Asparagus, frozen broccoli and stuffed chicken breast. Would you eat this?

First patronized this place for Sunday brunch. All of the reviews talk about how long the wait for food is and the music is too loud! It's all true. The brunch food was good. Decided to try them for dinner. Never again. The food was terrible. The music was disgusting. Degrading to women. Cursing, discussion of body parts. Horrible. The server was nice. The manager came over to our table. We expressed our concerns. He talked about making it upscale. I want to see that happen.

The food was pretty good! Service was decent. & The DJ was on point! It definitely is expensive but they have a variety of options to choose from. I'll definitely come back to eat again!!

Jazzy's Eats and Treats is a great place to have brunch, given breakfast and brunch is all this…read morerestaurant serves and that is all they have on the menu. This focus should and does translate into good results, but it is a work in progress. I came here with two friends and we were in agreement this is a great place for breakfast and brunch, but also in agreement their coffee and tea game could be stepped up. There are no real hot tea choices and the coffee is a bit on the weak side. There is also no iced tap water, only bottled water to pour over ice. They only charge a buck for the water, but it is a consideration. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon, which I highly recommend. The grits have a creamy consistency aided with lots of cheese and butter, the latter of which is great for flavor, but could be restrained a bit. You are not here to count the calories. There are a decent number of shrimp atop, with proper Cajun seasoning befitting the eponymously named and New Orleans styled Jazz restaurant. The side of bacon, which came out in a caramelized semicrisp state, complimented the shrimp and added its own savory flavor to put it over the top for me. Jazzy's New Orleans underpinning was consistent in its flavor profile across all our dishes. The Cajun seasoning was evident in the Salmon Croquettes and the Fish and Grits my friends ordered. Everything received positive reviews, save for the pancakes one of my friends ordered on the side, which were considered mildly positive, and the Croquettes, which were a bit too heavily seasoned with the increased sodium content. Prices are reasonable and, after all is said and done, each person will come to about thirty bucks, including the tip, which is automatically charged at fifteen percent. Service was good, but this automatic gratuity charge is a practice I do not like and is reflected in my review rating, but do not let that dissuade you from coming here. 3.5 stars!

Alright, I had a great start to Sunday with a very refreshing beet juice and a light, cool kale…read morejuice. Both get a 10/10. I modified the BLT by removing the bacon and adding grilled chicken; that's a 10/10 as well. Let me just say, with the goat cheese, it was taken to a whole new level, and as you can see with the eggs Benedict no bacon on that, the grilled chicken will definitely be coming back for another 10/10. I was very surprised by this spot. The staff, of course, was busy with the after-church crowd, but they did a great job seating us. I really enjoyed the open space, and it was very well lit with natural light and good lighting in the building.

This place was so good that we went twice and the second time we brought our family! The restaurant…read moregives kind of modern farm kitchen vibes which nice. While here I tried the shrimp and grits, 3 meat omelet, and the chicken and waffle sliders. Hands down the shrimp and grits may be the best I've ever had. I appreciated that the sauce was not oily and they give a good amount of shrimp and conecuh sausage (this specific sausage is the key) for the amount of grits they give you. This may be the best shrimp and grits I've ever had so if you don't know what to order, you can't go wrong with this choice. The 3 meat omelet was bomb as well with plenty of meat inside the omelet with a choice of side. Lastly, the chicken and waffle sliders were also really good. The chicken is crispy and the hot honey sauce it comes with naturally motivates you to dip the chicken into the syrup (thank me later if this didn't cross your mind until now). I can't forget the sweet tea is very sweet and when you ask for a side of lemons, they actually cut a lemon up for you which I appreciate from a sanitary standpoint. In case you were also wondering, they offer military discounts and they will sing happy birthday if you ask (no free dessert but they do have some really good beignets to purchase). The beignets are really soft and go great with the ganauche. The only downside for this restaurant is the service is a bit slow. Both days it took quite a bit of time to be greeted by a server and sometimes they take a while to come by your table. This is a minor fix but if this can be rectified this is easily a 5 star brunch place that the city needed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone considering coming to it and I look forward to coming back to eat here (my mom still talks about the shrimp and grits lol).
