I've been going to this swap meet the 80's You never know what your going to find. Just recently there records stated showing up. The swap meet is put on be a radio club so you will find Ham radios and you can take your test to get your ham radio license here too. Less vendors have been showing up over the years, they is still lots to see and buy here. The people watching is great too. There is a large parking lot close by. I used to visit this swap meet back in its "glory days"--late 80s, mid 90s. After not going for about 10 years (moved away), a new part-time Saturday job brought me back to the area. I decided to stop by on my way to work... It's about half as big as it was (it was once on the other side of Aviation Bl. in a much larger lot...) It used to take about an hour to walk through the whole swap meet, now it can be done in about 30 minutes. And not all of the spaces were occupied...I'd say today (8/27/2016) it was about 3/4ths full. Although Ebay and other online marketplaces have taken away a lot of the business, there's still some interest in looking at the merchandise "in person." There didn't seem to be a lot of stuff specifically for hams....maybe 1/5 of the offerings were ham-related, another 2/5ths were computers, another 1/5ths other electronics (test equipment, cables and connectors, TV boxes, guitar amps, etc.) with the remainder being books, toys, and a few other items that sort of stretched the definition for being "ham radio, computer, or electronics related." I've been coming here since 1999. This place is definitely a great place to find components, ham radio gear, computers, and anything computer related. Obviously, items sold aren't always consistent from one month to the next, but that's the nature of this industry. I've seen a lot of regular sellers over the past 15 years, and you learn the reputation of many of these sellers (of which many are often good). Others mention bad parking - that depends upon when you show up. The swap meet runs from 7:30a-11:30a SHARP. Yup, right at 11:30, it's closed. Of course, if you do want to buy something, you can "accidentally" drop your small wad of cash on the ground and pick up your item, so long as the management people don't catch you actually exchanging money with sellers. I've picked up a lot of good stuff here, both for personal use and for educational research, and I will definitely be coming back for years to come! read more

This place is disappointing. The website says something to the tune of ....up holding the tradition of HAM radio..... The website is misleading, the information is antiquated like the event. What a waste of time. First of all, the HAM radio selection when I was a kid was far more extensive at TRW. Now it is mostly computers, non-radio junk and pallets of junk that fell off the back of a truck. Very questionable where it was acquired. secondly, the people there don't practice basic good hygiene. That is reprehensible. There is no excuse!
