Breakfast burrito to-go I think so! This Chevron in the past was a must stop before going through Bishop in the past with my family. Easy fueling for RVs ect. I always stop for a coffee refill or a burrito or hot sandwich. This is a clean stop with just about anything you'll need for a road trip. Stopped by for a recent road trip and it's nicer than I remember. We'll be back. It's a great place to stop for fuel; 16 year old me was more responsible;). Great rest stop in Carson Valley. Clean restrooms, big convenience store that has all the snacks and drinks you need plus souvenir items. There's also an ATM inside. You can fill up your tanks and then relax and enjoy the beautiful view before heading out for the road again, or, you can also go the Wa She Shu Casino which is right next to the Watravel plaza. read more

Restrooms nearly always closed. High prices. Employee chased me from the store with a stick because I wanted to use the restroom he was cleaning. Federal law MANDATES restrooms be available for gas station customers off the freeway for a reason. This business thinks they don't have to follow laws. read more

I stopped in for water and tea and was greeted by Denise the moment I walked inside. She was pleasant and welcoming. Our conversation at the register was also pleasant and engaging. I told her I appreciated that she welcomed me when I walked in as that to me shows they appreciate their customers. The place has a variety of hot/cold food, local sweets, and is very clean. I am a truck driver I came in to get a cup of coffee and some snacks and it literally cost $30 for what is normally $15 they are super overpriced here when I asked them about it just joking around they were very rude and told me if I don't like it shop somewhere else I have never been treated this way in my entire life being a customer but I will never shop here again even if I'm desperate for food I will wait until I get to Reno to get what I need the staff is super rude and seem like they hate their job and they're way overpriced God bless. read more

Jason at the bar is awesome!!!! Only came here one time before this and he totally remembered me. All staff here are super friendly. Jason is quick attentive and very personable. The casino is small but they have promotions almost every day, but the staff is definitely the reason I keep coming back. The machines are fair, you win some you lose some. If you gamble you know sometimes it feels like there's a little gremlin underneath the screen pocketing all your money! Not here!! Lots of regulars and a warm, welcome vibe. And one more current update (3rd review). They have closed part of their restaurant. Now you have to order food at the bar and then go and bring it in the restaurant to eat. It's very awkward. Their machines are still extremely tight, some card readers don't work, and you still have to go bring your ticket to a cashier if you want to cash out (they don't have the ticket redemption machines that every other casino has). Also their ventilation system could be improved... there were only a few people in the casino but the smoke smell was overpowering. Note, if you are handicapped or have difficulty walking, you may have a hard time getting to the front door as there are no benches for anyone to sit at and get their breath (a family member has brought this to their attention several times, sadly nothing has been done). Their gas station is very clean, but more expensive than others. Their mini-market is clean and has a nice variety of items. This is an update to my first review. Both my husband and I each had $100 in free play. We tried numerous machines and there were only two that were halfway decent. I don't think I have ever gambled at a casino this tight so we will not be gambling there any longer. We once again tried their diner. It was a little better than the last time, I had a BLT which was fine, my husband had breakfast which was fine. Nothing outstanding but not horrible either. We were here on a Thursday for lunch. We were the ONLY PEOPLE, party of four in the restaurant. We ordered and waited and waited for our food, 20 minutes. After 10 minutes waitress informed one of us that baked potato ordered by one of us was not available, changed to mashed. The food finally arrived. My Caesar salad was good. However, mistakes on other orders, fried instead of grilled chicken, vegetables over cooked, wrong vegetables on another plate. I hate to imagine what we would have experienced if the restaurant was even half full. We will not eat here again. The casino staff were very helpful and courteous. Sunday morning my Dad and I tried the diner for breakfast. The menu is very small with limited dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However they cover the basics. I had the chicken fried steak and my Dad had the ribeye steak & eggs special. The food was very good. The chicken fried steak was standard frozen & deep fried fare but the gravy was homemade and the hash browns were good. The stand out was the steak & egg special - the ribeye was cooked as requested to medium rare and was surprising large for a breakfast steak. Worst experience, not a safe place to go. My mom on 12/19 was waiting for over an hour for a clerk to change the paper on a specific machine to play (3 requests made). Finally, when the short hair lady changed the paper, my mom inserted her voucher, then a man sitting next to the machine became violent and told my mom, "I don't care that you're a fu king woman, I'll knock you off that fucking chair, I'm going to play it not you" and got in my moms face in a very aggressive manner, he threatened to hit her in front of the casino staff (lady with short hair). They did nothing, that man should have been asked to leave. There was no security, it's a very unsafe casino and understaffed. Completely unacceptable and won't ever return. read more

My daughter & I have come in about a dozen times for their quesadilla since it is large enough to share. We have had mostly Kallie as our server. We have not been there this summer because we were gone most of it. I decided to surprise my daughter and take her to lunch. When we got there we sat at our normal table. About 5 minutes later a girl came up to us and said they no longer take orders at the table and we would have to go to the counter to put our order in. We thought what if people didn't know what they wanted they would be standing there trying to decide holding up the line. I still found it strange to just order like at a fast food restaurant but we did. We were told to go ahead and sit down and they would bring our order out. Someone came with two plastic water cups and straws already in them. And then a server came out and dropped off our quesadilla. After that we had to fend for ourselves if we wanted anything because no one checked back. We weren't even sure if we should be leaving a tip or not but we did. I'm really disappointed that they switched it to a order at the counter first rather than I sit down and order at the table. If we wanted to get dessert or anything else we have to walk back to the counter to order. Not sure if we'll be coming back again. read more

Went there on Saturday for lunch/dinner and to game a little. Had coupon for free play and some off on food. When we got there we were told restaurant was only serving a "South of the border" buffet. We had travelled over 45 miles to get there and neither of us like Spanish food. we were told we could get "bar food" at the bar, so we went over there. The bartender tells then there is no bar food today because of buffet. Fired up now I want a manager. THE MOD on duty named AMY was fantastic. After hearing our complaint she took control of the situation and saved two customers from leaving forever. Hats off to AMY for great service as well as the other staff we met that night. This place is horrible. I have read the positive reviews for this casino and it is clear the employees are writing them. I have not heard one of my friends or family ever say that this is a great place to gamble. The food is horrible and at best rivals a high school cafeteria. If you don't walk in with a plastic bag covering your body you will smell like an ashtray by the time you leave. The slot machines are poorly kept clean or maintained and the buttons seem to stick on most of them. Unlike better casinos, you have to go to the cashier to get your money (if you have anything left) from your ticket. The people working at the cashier desk are very slow and that is after you wait in the line for others in front of you. I think this system is intentional to get you to step out of line and go lose the rest of your money. The only people smiling at this casino are the ones that are told to. The bathrooms smell like urine and poop and there are never any paper towels or toilet paper! If you ate at there diner this will be an urgent issue. All this being said, I have left this casino with money. You can usually find a ticket left in an ashtray with 15 cents or a dime or two on the floor. The location is great, after you lose all of your money and have to pan handle for change there is a Chevron gas station to buy your gallon worth of change. read more
