Take out order for lunch on a Saturday at 1130am was good service however, I think the restaurant is spending too much on their small rectangular to-go Tupperware containers that are reusable & microwaveable instead of giving bigger portions of food & utilizing the regular white square to-go containers. While our main server was friendly, the male server assisting him seemed uninterested and not particularly welcoming. When I asked for takeout containers, he told me to wait by holding up his hand, despite not appearing busy, which came across as unnecessarily dismissive. Wanted to check this place after being to Thai Spoon Cafe and see what they can offer. Place nice and clean. Warm friendly reception. Food great and delicious. Tofu pad see ew taste lighter than beef we've tried before but still flavorful. Shrimp panang was amazing. Beef lamb a little too spicy but good also. This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Although they are short staffed the food came out in a timely manner and everything was fresh.

This was my first time trying Thai spoon 2. I placed a phone to go order for the papaya salad and a pad Thai. I was advised it would be a 40 minute wait on a Friday evening which was fine. I believe the food was done quicker than 40 minutes though as I was handed my bag quite quickly. When I got home and opened my food, I was given the wrong order. Luckily, I also like Pad see ew so I still ate my meal. I was disappointed though because I was looking forward to pad Thai the gentleman who took my phone order, repeated back my meal and he said pad Thai, so I don't know where the mixup went. read more

On our way to San Bernardino when I had a craving for Thai food... picked out Thai spoon since I saw the 4 stars . Ordered chicken Phad Thai and beef salad. The Phad Thai was just ok. Since I've had so many good ones, my standards have been pretty high.. it was a little too sweet and the color a bit artificial.. the beef salad was just okay as well. I don't know where yelp is pulling these menu prices but they do not have a lunch special. All menu items are regularly priced.

The food was good overall, but I found some sand grains in the fried rice, which was disappointing. What bothered me more was the management's response. Instead of apologizing and addressing the issue, they seemed more focused on defending themselves. They'll sit you at one table then they want to move you to another table, which is dirty and they want you to sit at that table until they clean it instead of sitting at the table they originally put yet then the guy wants me to come back at 2:30 to fight so I don't recommend this place at all real terrible people and obviously no management with all the disruption that happened. I just wanted to start this review by saying I've been a loyal customer of thai spoon 2 for many years however today I was very DISSSPOINTED in their customer service and professionalism. I got Pad See Ew with tofu take-out and after I took the first bite from the broccoli, I saw a dead worm. A few minutes later, we decided to call the restaurant to report this incident, hoping they could change my food. When I told them about the situation, the server DID NOT appologize and instead became defensive over the phone and went on and on about how their vegetables are "organic". She then went to talk to another employee but because the line wasn't on hold so I could still hear both of them talking among themselves. I overheard the other employee said with sarcasm and attitude, "Worms? So what?...just tell them to bring in the food and we'll give them back the money" (they said all of this in Thai, and yes, we understand Thai). After hearing that, we were VERY SHOCKED AND DISAPPOINTED in how unprofessional that was so we hung up before they could get back to us. Our family has been a loyal customer to this restaurant for many years, and we never expect this kind of response from the employees. We didn't want to cause the restaurant any trouble, we didn't need any refunds, we SIMPLY just want to change the food. We totally understand that their produce are organic with no pesticides, but it is still the restaurant's responsibilities and protocols to WASH the vegetables THOROUGHLY. As a certified ServSafe in food handler, there are measures that should be taken in place to ensure cleanliness. It does not matter if your produce is "organic" it should still be cleaned. Furthermore, if your customer finds worms in their food you should not take the matter so lightly and be so defensive about it. After 10 mins, the restaurant called back. It was a different employee that apologized to us. She handled this confrontation very professionally and offer to make new food for us. That is the only reason why we give 2 stars instead of 0. At the end they gave me my new food and a Thai tea, free of charge. Ok I get that these kinds of things are unavoidable, all I was expecting was a sincere apology with no excuse. Management if you're reading this, hope you deal witht his better next time and NEVER talk shit about your customer, especially the ones that have been so loyal to you for so many years. read more

Have been here several times. My sister always gets the yellow curry with shrimp. I tried her serving and found it "addictive". Delicious creaminess that is like warm hug. I got the panko breaded tempura -twice, but was disappointed both times. Instead of light breading, it is heavy and a bit over fried. The place is always very busy and very crowded at lunch. The service is attentive and sweet. One waitress even packed up my to go box. I can't remember the last time this was offered in any restaurant. There is a diverse menu of tasty offerings. read more

CAVEAT: I don't know if there's a way you can read my other reviews. I say this because the review I'm leaving for this restaurant is not my typical review. Complaint 1. According to Yelp, Google and this restaurants very own menu this place is meant to close at 9. We arrived at 7:40 and the first thing we're told is that the restaurant closes at 8pm and that we had to leave by 8:30. Complaint 2. We placed our order which came promptly. However, we asked for water to accompany our meal and the same woman who greeted us seemed annoyed that we wanted a beverage with our meal. Complaint 3. We ordered a Red curry. As you can see from my picture, this curry is NOT a red curry. I thought I was going colorblind. Complaint 4. We were given no dinner plates. We were expected to eat our food of the salad plates that were given to us for our appetizers. We asked for DINNER plates like the other patrons who were eating at this restaurant but the same lady seemed annoyed and then brought back clean SALAD plates again. See pic for reference. NOW, I am not a paranoid person at all. I also am not one to throw the race card at a whim. However, the only conclusion that we could come to for why we were treated differently to the other diners at this place was the color of my skin. The same lady that was rude from the very moment we walked in treated the other diners as one would expect. Plus they had DINNER plates to eat their meals off. 100 percent never coming back to this place again. The quality of the food was almost as bad as the service too. read more

Yeah so if you live in Loma Linda. You will eat here. It's canon. The service is quick and friendly. They can handle moderate size parties well. As for the food, their noodles are better than their curries. The dish that makes this place stand out is pretty much any variation of Thai basil. Thai spoon is vegetarian friendly. If you are feeling adventurous, try soft tofu in your favorite curry. For fish lovers, I recommend the ginger fish. read more
