Unsanitary, long waits, and lacks customer service. Third time's the charm? Not the case for this location. The first time I came here, they included vegetables even when I asked for no vegetables and it was clearly written on the receipt... this was no biggie. The second time I came here it took over 20 minutes for my order to be ready with no one ahead of me...gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now the third time I came? Oh boy... all sorts of wrong going on. After I ordered, I noticed the man putting rice back in the rice cooker from a container WITH FOOD ALREADY IN IT. When I questioned the man, he said he was mixing ONLY the rice because it got to cold for the customer. Ok? Normal food chains would just throw it out and then put new rice in the container, not put the COLD RICE IN THE WARMER. That was warning number one. Warning number two was when I saw the cashier handling food WITHOUT washing her hands and WITHOUT wearing gloves. Yes she was only scooping rice and placing it in the container, but hello?!?! Didn't food service ever teach the staff to wash their hands before handling food??? Absolutely disgusting. When I got my food I had probably 5 pieces of carrots & broccoli and definitely an underserved portion of chicken with the bowl mainly filled with rice. I also ordered edamame cucumber and guess what? THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE EDAMAME. I promise you, I am not making this up. When I told the lady at the register, she looked at it, smirked then went to scoop the edamame but aha! She finally wore A GLOVE. Yes one glove to scoop the edamame into the container. Thought I give a try at this location. Very bad service with the employee lizzet. As I walked in I seen her and another employee in the back laughing standing there for already about 5 minuets I'm loosing patience. Once she done she comes out very rude with no greeting. Ordered my food and didn't hear them call my name. So after minutes going by and other people that ordered after get their food. I go up to see if my food is there, standing for a good 5 mins and the girl and guy looking at me like I'm crazy. Didn't ask if I needed help. So I ask the girl worker who has 4 hickeys on her neck and a chest piercing that looks infected. If they have my food and she says "yeah we call your name already" no apology. Food is always good here and the portion is good for the price. They always let me substitute the salad for vegetables which is good for me. As previous review say, the service isn't always the nicest but does the job when I go in as I always get it to go. Sometimes the service is great though so it depends on the employee for sure. I come to waba grill at least 3-4 times a week. I love to see the nice cashier Lauren there. I guess you can say I'm her regular customer. She knows exactly what I order & knows how to make me feel welcomed. she always greets me with a smile & is very nice. Jesis is really nice & helpful as well. But lately I've noticed there are new girl cashiers. They have messed up on my order 2 days in a row. It's disappointing knowing that I spend a lot of money there & they can't even get my order right more than 2 times. Also I think it would be helpful to have public restrooms there. Other than those complaints, I would have to say Lauren is one of the best workers there. She gets my order right every single time. Please train the other girls more so I don't get my oder messed up again. I wouldn't want to take my business else where. read more

I went to this location on a Sunday afternoon to pick up a chicken bowl for my husband for lunch. I waited patiently in line for a few minutes before I was able to place my order. I asked for a white meat chicken bowl only to be told they were out of white meat. Now let me say that the employee mumbled this information to me while music loudly played in the background and I really could not understand him. I asked what the employee said and he mumbled to me again that they had no white meat. At that point I asked surprised, "You have no white meat?" (to ensure that is what was said) to which the employee mimicked me back in the same tone and gesture, "We have no white meat?" Ummm....first, don't be rude, second turn your dumb music down and third how about a sign posted somewhere (the door the cash register) that you don't have any white meat so I didn't have to waste mine or anyone's time? The service is the worst, those employees don't greet you, don't smile, make you wait without making any eye contact at all for 10 minutes or more before they even speak to you, they have a crappy attitude all the time. They take forever making the orders and they never answer the phone. If they do happen to answer the phone they will put you on hold for a long time and you will still wait forever to pick up your phone order. They are always out of green onions and even run out of waba sauce. This particular store is awful. read more

It's only fair that I update my review. I've been going here a lot since they've opened, and the mixed up orders must have been an anomaly, because they have gotten my order perfect every single time since. I order something different almost every time I go in so that I don't get tired of it, and they've been on point. The customer service here is great, and I'm always welcomed with a smile. I'm stopping here almost 5 days a week now, since there aren't very many places around here to get something healthy and fast. If you want to eat healthy and/or lose weight this place is the only game in town!! Hands down a thousand times better than Flame Broiler! The employees here are awesome and super friendly! I've come in at 9:59 ( they close at 10pm), and been welcomed with a big smile, not only that they insisted I eat inside the restaurant( which is what I wanted to do), instead of outside, even though it meant they had to wait to go home( I insisted on taking my food outside when they were ready to leave though). This place is clean and fresh looking inside! My last two trips to flame broiler I found bugs in their utensil bins! The only reason to go there over Waba is they have coupons, but still not even worth it!! This place is awesome!! Great healthy food, great employees, and decent prices!
