Every time I go here the f**k up my order. I really don't know why I go back. They didn't have any forks, sauces or anything really available in the lobby area, this last time, they left the avocado, that I paid extra for, off my 15 dollar plate. On top of that I ordered a veggie bowl with white rice, and they left out the veggies. Total SH!T show! Management should be ashamed, WaBa should pull their franchise, because this location is giving them a bad name. I called twice to complain, I live about 15 minutes away and didn't want to spend another half hour driving back and forth to yell at a bunch of kids that obviously don't care. I have a hit or miss experience with this location. My go to is their Chicken bowl with veggies and brown rice. I feel like the chicken has been more appropriately cooked more often than not. It has a nice grill to it and it's even more delicious with their teriyaki sauce. The veggies are also a nice touch and give you a more balanced meal. My only complaint is their meat portion can be a little off sometimes; meaning my bowl is has a ton of rice in comparison to the chicken. I have had their Waba bowl (with both chicken and grilled beef) a number of times and I do not like this bowl as much as the chicken. And the reason being, lies in the beef. The beef is always overcooked and grilled until its hard, crispy and not that appetizing. Sometimes it feels like eating beef jerky. Excellent customer service , was greeted when I walked in . Ordered waba bowl (half chicken/half steak) . It fills you up for $7.00 . Food quality was decent since it's on the healthy side (not much of a big fan on healthy) . Any who , dining area is clean so i recommend this place . read more

How do you screw up an online order? When i ordered steak and chicken for my wife's salad only to have it arrive with chicken only ( of course i paid extra for the steak) and also extra dressing which consisted of the most minute amount of dressing in a plastic cup and a dry salad with zero dressing! I mean this was an online order...all the instructions laid out and they still messed it up. The second half of the order was kinda correct as the main steak and chicken bowl were fine but i ordered several sides of sauce that weren't included either. The customer service is horrible I walked in and there were no customers, so I thought, great timing, 3 people were behind the counter working I stood at the front waiting to be serviced for 3 minutes while I was being ignored the entire time, I then asked if anyone was working at the front counter. No one acknowledged me nor responded back by this time , it had already been about 5min that passed so I walked out! I will never go there again. They came up short on customer service skills and lazy as hell. Not once did they walk the dining area to clean tables and sweep. They seemed to be bothered when approached to place our order. I'm impressed! I had a friend recommend this place to me and it's awesome. The menu is concise and easy to order from. The service is super fast and friendly. The good was good as well as the Waba sauce. When you get a side of avocado, you literally get half of an avocado. Only thing I marked a star down for was that if you don't order white meat chicken, you get a lot of chicken fat which I don't like to eat it's gross. This location has been going downhill since COVID hit. I was a longtime Flame Broiler customer for decades and was converted to a Waba believer a couple years ago. Of all the locations I've visited this became my favorite because of the excellent way the prepare and cook the chicken which leaves it juicy and tender and their friendly customer service. But lately it seems they've been struggling to find a talented regular cook and have the other employees inexperienced with cooking, filling in to do the job. The end result is overcooked, over charred, dried out chicken that seems it's been cooked and sitting out for hours. Which for me is a shame because I eat there once or twice a week regularly. I have been wanting to write a review for a while now and finally had a chance to today. I am beyond impressed with the cashier I had on Wednesday of last week!! He was such a positive, charismatic and over all happy young man! As I try to remember his name, my girlfriend and I were in shock with how professionally he did his job, QUICK TOO!! Definitely should be getting a bonus and a raise soon because even at my gym, we all know who he is. If I remember correctly his name was Moses!! As for the food, it was delicious. Nice orange crispy sear the cooks gave the chicken. Rice has been on point last few times I've been there. In all, place is clean, organized and has amazing staff. Only negative I'd give would be the lack of bottled drinks in the fridge. But other than that no complaints here! 10/10 read more

This is an attractive new location that is actually close to my house. The food is good like it has been at other locations. The problem is that there is no toilet facility even though there is seating for about 20 people inside and 20 people outside. I also did not see a sign to this effect as required by Health and Safety Code section 114276. Why does this matter? Well, I had been trying to recommend this location to my mom and her friends. If they were to sit down and eat, they might have to use the restroom in the middle of a meal which would require walking down to Walmart along side everyone else in the restaurant. If my mom came by herself, would her food stay at we table? Would it be thrown away? For now I will have to recommend that people in the area avoid it for this reason. Or go to Walmart first. The franchise owner may want to spend their days there looking for any older, slow moving or disabled customers. He may want to get to know them real well, inform them of the situation, and watch their food while they walk to the restroom, etc. I am surprised I had to find this out from the minimum wage person at the counter since there was no sign on the door. Though I love the flavor of the WaBa Sauce, the chicken was so tough that I mainly ate the rice, tossing the chicken in the trash. I have been coming to this Waba Grill for quite some time now. I came to Waba LM yesterday with my bestfriend, I ordered a Salmon & it was absolutely delicious, they now have wild caught salmon & you can taste the difference. The store was clean & the employees who are new looked hard at work. They were very funny girls and I had a nice chat with them. The Manager took my order & was super friendly, she got my food out very fast. The best part is that it wasn't hot in there like it usually is, because of this they deserve 5 stars for good quality food & a friendly environment. I would definitely recommend this place. I'm leaving this review because I want to get in touch with the owner but I don't know how. Anyways , I love waba grill and even more so because I belong to the Camp Transformation down the street on Imperial and your food is one of the only approved fast food options (the other is flame broiler). I'm asking if you can please train your employees to take orders better. I spend about $15/ week at your location and I'm very close to going to another Waba Grill because the employees have messed up the order too many times. When they mess up the order, I end up waiting an additional 15 min or so. Typically I ask for my meat DRY.. and I say it about 3 or 4 times during the order, I ask "no sauce please" then I remind them again , "and please make sure it's dry , with no sauce". It even shows the special order on the receipt. Then, I get my food and it has sauce. Please realize your location is close to a fitness center and you have an opportunity to make more money not only from me but other people at my Camp, if you train the employees properly! I am very unhappy with this place because their customer service is horrible. The food also sucks by the way! I came in to get dinner for my family and when I got home I realized my husbands bowl did not have avocado I ordered and payed for. I called them to let them know of what happened and the manager was suppose to call me back to get me a free meal or some sort or freebie for the inconvenience and till this day I have not received a phone call or anything. Unsanitary, long waits, and lacks customer service. Third time's the charm? Not the case for this location. The first time I came here, they included vegetables even when I asked for no vegetables and it was clearly written on the receipt... this was no biggie. The second time I came here it took over 20 minutes for my order to be ready with no one ahead of me...gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now the third time I came? Oh boy... all sorts of wrong going on. After I ordered, I noticed the man putting rice back in the rice cooker from a container WITH FOOD ALREADY IN IT. When I questioned the man, he said he was mixing ONLY the rice because it got to cold for the customer. Ok? Normal food chains would just throw it out and then put new rice in the container, not put the COLD RICE IN THE WARMER. That was warning number one. Warning number two was when I saw the cashier handling food WITHOUT washing her hands and WITHOUT wearing gloves. Yes she was only scooping rice and placing it in the container, but hello?!?! Didn't food service ever teach the staff to wash their hands before handling food??? Absolutely disgusting. When I got my food I had probably 5 pieces of carrots & broccoli and definitely an underserved portion of chicken with the bowl mainly filled with rice. I also ordered edamame cucumber and guess what? THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE EDAMAME. I promise you, I am not making this up. When I told the lady at the register, she looked at it, smirked then went to scoop the edamame but aha! She finally wore A GLOVE. Yes one glove to scoop the edamame into the container.
