Went to Wabi House for happy hour with a friend. We tried the sake bomb, edamame, and shrimp dumplings. For mains food, we both had spicy miso ramen (one pork broth, one chicken). I liked the spice, but it was pretty oily. The meat (only ground pork) was sunk at the bottom, unlike other ramen bowls where it's on top and easier to mix. Service was okay, got a wrong extra item at first, and the "spicy" edamame wasn't spicy and took a while to fix. The outdoor seating had a really nice, relaxed vibe. Overall, I still enjoyed it, just not my favorite.

Some of the best dynamic flavors I've had in the DFW. I wish I lived closer! The happy hour is perfect to try. Little bit of everything

Came here for the first time on Thursday! Nick was our server and he provided phenomenal service. He was very attentive and throughly detailed with answering all of my questions. Since it was my first time here and I arrived 5 minutes before happy hour ended, I ended up ordering 7 appetizers and 1 yakitori and got full off of those before I even got to order any ramen. I enjoyed all of the appetizers though. We ordered the crab Rangoon, hamachi rayu, crispy pork ears, shishito peppers, beets and Brussels, takoyakis, and seared scallops. We also tried the beef tenderloin yakitori. All of it was really good. The vibe in here is good and they played good music. They have a pretty extensive drink menu ranging from cocktails to beers and sake. I love their open kitchen concept. Next time I'll be back to try their ramen!

Located in the Star area of Frisco. This restaurant has some of the best small plate foods I have ever eaten Ever!!. The staff is amazing with excellent service with an ambiance of modern and friendly. The music played in the background has a smooth vibe. This place is on my list of favorites in my neighborhood. Look at the photos the food is amazing and unique.

The first thing I noticed is their happy hour menu from 3pm - 7pm! Their happy hour is for small dishes and drinks. The edamame was a great small dish to start out before getting the ramen. All of our happy hour items came quickly, and our server was very friendly! I also ordered the shoyu ramen. The chashu meat was delicious, and I loved the broth and noodles! The seating and dining area is very comfortable!

Potentially last cool day for the year so came to get some ramen. Second time here and it was still really good and flavorful. Also the lunch special on the ramen is a really good deal.

Prior to getting transferred to a different location for my job, I had visited Wabi House once in Greenville. To be transparent, the food wasn't my favorite. However, at the Frisco location-the food is so much better than I remembered. I love coming here before or during my shift. My coworkers and I enjoy it. The food, service, and ambiance all are amazing!

Tried Wabi House's Frisco location and thought it was pretty solid overall. Prices are fair; I noticed the menu prices were more affordable than a lot of other ramen spots in DFW, though the portions felt a bit smaller. Broth and noodles were good, but the pork chashu was kind of dry and didn't taste super fresh. Other than that, the other ramen components were very solid. I didn't order any drinks myself, but my entourage did and the presentation was gorgeous! Wouldn't mind coming back, but I'm still on the hunt for the best ramen in DFW

Lunch special is unmatched, $9 for a bowl of ramen you can't beat that (even if it went up a dollar from before). Wabi is a Dallas staple and this frisco location translates well to the area. Super nice and trendy interior with great service. I only come for the lunch special to be honest but it's one of my favorite places to go during work because of it! If you feeling extra spendy since you're saving money on ramen, the appetizers are good too. I especially like the karaage that comes with seasoned watermelon. Fried pig ears are delicious too.

Traditionally a huge fan of wabi house. My go to food here is the Spicy Misu soup with chicken broth substitution and it's truly amazing as far as texture and flavor. The place is also really cute inside and outside. They also have amazing deals for lunch and happy hour. However although the staff is very friendly the service tonight was not the best. I visited this place with my friend. Our server took our order however brought extra items we did not order and my order which was supposed to be a spicy edamame came as original. Then when we told the waiter he took the extra items away and mentioned will bring a spicy sauce for the edamame on the side. However even mentioning to waiter twice he did not bring the sauce so at this point I asked if he can bring the correct edamame with the spicy on it instead so he took away the original edamame and left. Then when he brought our main order of ramen he swapped our orders and we had to tell him which one was whose order as he did not recall. Then he also had forgotten to bring the spicy edamame which he brought after our main meal came. My friend was also upset as her ramen did not have enough meat. Hoping the next time we come here with my husband or friend the service matches the quality of their food and improves.

Came in on a Thursday after the Icemageddon, there was some people in, great music, love the location. The wife and I started with a couple of appetizers First was the sesame cucumber, and it was delicious, loved the sauce, I could have licked from the plate, lol then it was the Gyoza aka potstickers, lol, I really liked these taste better than the regular potstickers, these are fried but have a nice lite texture. The it was the Ramen, the Ramen here seems to be a bit lighter on the salt compared to Hakata, also they seem to give you a bigger portion of protein, now what was a bit surprising was the hot chili was not really hot, it was ok, I wanted more heat, but tasted really good, wife had the spicy miso, she did not like the meat being ground, but tasted good. I had the tonkotsu probably spelled it wrong it was very good, large chunks of pork, nice thin ramen. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back.

Clean restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and food was good. I like that their ramen noodles aren't too thick. Items ordered: Beef skewers x2: You get 3 cubed pieces of beef per skewer. Flavor as fine Tonkatsu ramen: Good broth and ratio of meat and veggies Spicy ramen: Wasn't too spicy for my taste. I liked that they allowed me to substitute a poached egg for an ajitama egg. Would have been better with sprouts and veggies Dry garlic noodles: Didn't try it but my sister really likes this dish.

Been here many times for lunch and finally getting around to writing this review. The $9 lunch price for ramen is criminal. I love their piping hot and flavorful ramen - tried all except the veggie one. Crazy cheap for such a great bowl! Love both the Shoyu and Tonkotsu. The spicy miso is solid but I find the broth in the others more interesting. Always try to order something more or at least extra toppings and leave a healthy tip to support the biz and staff. Sometimes I get an appetizer and sometimes just an extra egg or veggies. Staff can't survive on 20% tip on a $9 bowl!

What's the happy hour on small plates? Is it a price discount or just smaller dishes?

Same plates, smaller prices! I believe from 3-5pm? I forgot, but there was a sign and definitely after 3pm on weekdays

I've had the pleasure of eating ramen in Japan and yeah, NO. The reason for the 1 star is because we were the first ones in at 11 and the waitress came in sneezing and wiping her nose with her hand, with her child in tow who by the way was all over the place and many times just standing at our table staring at us eat. I kept watching her to see if she would wash her hands or at least use hand sanitizer but she neglected to do either. The ramen: We ordered the spicy garlic pork shoyu and the spicy chicken broth ramen. The garlic pork ramen had 1 small piece of pork belly and the noodles while a great consistency, tasted like cardboard. The broth suffered from the lack of flavor. The chicken ramen was also pretty flavorless. The nerve of someone to compare this place to Ichiran lol. I will say, the service from the chef and the nose wiping waitress was pleasant but the grossness of her wiping her nose and touching every chair, bowl, utensils and eating her chips at the table across from us with her toddler is enough for us to never go back to this place even if it was the last ramen spot on the planet.

Our server was very helpful and kind. We ordered chicken karaage for starters and garlic chicken broth ramen as the main course. The serving size is quite big. I saw a vegetarian dish on the menu but I'm not sure if the broth is vegetarian as well. There is lots of parking on site. We hope to return soon.

The restaurant in general was dimly lit and relatively moody. Before I go in depth on what we ordered, here's my verdict and reasoning for the rating: The fish itself seemed like it was of good quality. You may then ask: if that's the case, why the 3 stars Salman? Service. Service was the reason. Our server and the speed at which we were getting our food was pretty lackluster. And our server, simply wasn't on top of stuff. She would disappear for long stretches and wouldn't come back to either check on us or to even take our order in the beginning. For instance, when I started ordering nigiri's, she had to stop me because while she initially thought, she could remember everything, she realized it would be better to write things down. What a fantastic thought. The chefs were very kind, but slow. We wanted to order another escolar nigiri and potentially more items, but refrained from doing so, just because of how long everything else took. Here's all that we ordered: - Hama chili: the yellowtail seemed fresh and was a good indication that the fish would be good. The dish itself wasn't the best hamachiili we've had. - Cherry blossom: rice less roll that was better than expected. Here are the nigiri's we ordered: - Flounder: sweet. Not very chewy - Escolar: buttery, torched but no smoky flavor, good. Top 3. - Hamachi: flat and lacked flavor. Would've liked some more ponzu or spice - Saketoro: slightly fishy. Went down very smooth though - Kinemedai: very fresh. Slightly bitter. - Masunosake: also very flat. We won't order salmon here again. - Otoro: fantastic. Smooth and buttery. Our favorite - Otoro handroll: basic but the fish was spectacular.

This time I got the spicy pork ramen (17), spicy garlic chicken ramen (18), and then got the spicy garlic pork ramen (19) togo. I will say it is a little bit salty, with the garlic ones being more salty than the non garlic ones. However the garlic ones do have more flavor. There's not that much meat/protein either just one piece of meat and an egg. The could be slightly better but it's still good. It also just has bamboo shoots but nothing else. A very simple bowl.
