I would give it zero stars if possible! Office smelled of cat piss and cigarette smoke. Advertised with WiFi, CATV, laundry. Laundry room was in shambles with all the machines in pieces, Cable wires cut and unavailable, WiFi signal weak with no internet access. Owners kid's big dog runs off leash and threatened my wife who was reduced to carrying our dog to keep him safe. Owner pruned some trees then left the prunings AND tools behind. Junk and trash all over the place including garbage in the fire pit. Badly rutted gravel roads. The dumpster at the park entrance is far from most sites. One family with young kids was assigned a site with a broken picnic table. This is a former KOA park with KOA signs still around; however, we have never seen a KOA in this bad shape! read more

New owners are working hard to bring it back to life. Bathrooms and showers are newly remodeled and nice, lots of improvement happening daily. The new owners are great. I stayed for 8 months for a project for work and I would definitely stay again. read more

I'm glad i found another place to stay. They tried to tell me they couldn't give me my one months rent back an hour after i reserved my spot because i found a place with 50 amp service. I ended up getting most of it back after paying a ridiculous "transaction reversal fee". Plenty of other parks around Waco, My advice is find another place, these people are crooks. read more

We just stayed at this campsite last week for two nights. Easy check in and they guided us to our spot. We stayed for 2 nights and it was quiet. Owner brought us campfire wood for a fire. There was a playground our kids enjoyed. There's a pool but it wasn't open while we were there. They have cute cabins (we didn't get to see inside) and also a couple tent campers. Nice bathrooms w showers. We have a 5th wheel, we would stay again. read more

My husband and I are Chartered Life Members of Good Sam and folks need to know that contrary to the Google listing for this park, they ARE NO LONGER A GOOD SAM RECOGNIZED OR RATED PARK. For our recent trip into Texas over Christmas our friends and us chose what we thought was a Good Sam park in the Waco area and made reservations back on August 14th for a two night stay on December 22 and 23, 2017. The park required a one night deposit of $31.50 which was charged to each card in August. We both arrived at the park early afternoon to check in. They, of course, required payment in full for the second night of $31.50 which was paid. We paid via the same credit card and I believe our friends paid for the additional night in cash . . .$31.50. We were then escorted to the site they wanted us to park at. We were shocked at the condition of the "RV" (a term I use lightly)! we were asked to park next to . . wish I could post a photo! We told them this was unacceptable, where else could we go. The escort then attempted to take us to other spots within the park which were, again, unacceptable due to overhanging trees, completely unlevel sites, etc. So we said that their park wasn't going to work for the two of us and we proceeded back to the office to cancel our reservations and obtain a refund. The man behind the desk said that he would have to check with the owner regarding any refund. He simply could not process a refund back to our cards, that the owner would require that a refund check be issued. We gave him our complete mailing addresses with which to send the refund checks. Needless-to-say, neither of us has received a refund from this park. I have tried calling the park, having to leave multiple messages for the owners to return my call, and, of course, have not received a return call from them to date. This park was not full by any stretch of the imagination and folks weren't knocking down their doors to get in so our cancellations did not result in them turning away anyone from staying at their facility. Bottom line, we have not received acknowledgement of or a full refund each of $63.00 since we did not stay at their park, did not even pull into any of their sites and immediately (within 20 minutes of arriving) requested a refund and departed their facility. My husband and I have traveled our great country for over 20 years and this is the first time we have ever run into this type of situation with this type of unprofessional service from any RV park. We are retired military and travel extensively with our military families and I can assure you that they will learn about this experience. If the owners of this park would like to send out the two refund checks of $63.00 each as requested, I would be happy to post an updated review. Update: As a follow-up to my first and only review of this park, dated January 31st of this year, I must report that the owner, Mendy, contacted me via FB messaging expressing her apology for what occurred with us in December and that this was the first she knew about it. Funny though, I spoke to two different ladies behind the desk and left messages for Mendy to call me. In Mendy's message to me she asked me to call her and she would straighten the credit out by posting a credit to our respective credit card accounts. I called her multiple times, having to leave messages on her voice mail each time, asking for her to return my call so we could straighten this mess out. I assured her that I would post an updated review advising that the owners had rectified the problem and all was good. To date, she has elected NOT to call me back and offer any assistance in processing any credit . . . a total of $126 ! I messaged her this week asking if it was really worth tarnishing the Park's reputation by not returning my calls nor processing the appropriate returns to our credit cards or mailing checks via snail mail. This is a really poor way of doing business but it does reflect the attitude of the owners both in "making things right" and running such a poor park. . . no wonder it is no longer a Good Sam Park !! read more

Do not stay here...drive a few miles more, you will have a better experience!!! We were on vacation, stopped here for the night. Called ahead of time to check if they had a space available. We left a message and they didn't return our call, got to park..and they said are you the folks that called? Really..service was lousy..I paid cash and they didn't have change, girl said she would bring it to me, well guess what...never got my $10.00. Called to remind them but they kept playing the avoidance game... This park seemed to have a lot of permanent residents with junky areas...didn't feel safe. This is the first time in many years of raving that we have had any issues. My recommendation is to stay somewhere else, there are other parks within a few miles... read more

Mindy said it was on its way....yes the next day was Labor Day but it's past the 7 to 10 business days. There was a fire or something at this RV park recently which makes me wonder about the mindset f people there. Mindset that the owners never answer their phone and the person answering the phone says there will be a response but there never is.So I am still waiting. I am about to send a certified letter to assist with getting my money back. I also have been contemplating asking the Good Sam club about this facility because I doubt that it is up to par with their standards. If you stay here, good luck. If you back out, find something that meets your needs but can't get your money back as a refund, good luck with that too. read more

So we called to reserve a couple of campsites and the office staff was really nice and helpful. The website map showed a pool and a catch and release fishing pond. That was great bc we needed things to do to stay cool and keep busy while camping, on the day we weren't going to be at BSR Cable Park. So we arrive to learn the pool isn't open and the catch and release pond is a small stagnant pond. They never bothered to tell us that. It's hot, we are camping! Hello people?!? Also, the closest bathroom has 1 out of 3 toilets working while the other bathroom up the hill didn't have hot water. That reminds me, upon check in they never gave us the bathroom security code so we were left to squat behind the tent all night til we found a local the next morning to let us in!
