Koolau Roof Tech., business owner (Kirt), was very professional, and knowledgeable about roofing shingles, yet really humble and cordial. After inspecting the condition of the roof for the rejuvenation spray, Kirt also mentioned several items that should be addressed on my roof. He also addressed any concerns and asked whether I had any further questions. Kirt later provided a detailed comprehensive report, with images of the roof areas to be sprayed, the missing shingle caps, and the cracked vents. The report fully explained what would be done to bring the roof back into shape, and the cost. The morning of the roof spray was seamless. Kirt was very prompt and informed me of his arrival time. It took only several hours to complete the tasks, and Kirt and his assistant (Father) were once again very professional and cordial. Everything around the perimeter of the house were returned to the original location, and they really prepped the areas on the ground to minimize the overspray. Upon completion of the job, I could immediately tell the difference in the roof shingles. What really impressed me was the detailed post roof spray report. Images were provided of the roof spray before, during and after, and all the completed roof caps and cracked vents. For anyone who is contemplating on using a rejuvenating roof spray to extend the life of their shingle roof, I would highly recommend calling/emailing Kirt at Koolau Roof Tech. Jherard worked with the insurance adjuster since I had no idea how to handle that aspect, and kept me informed of the progress. Speaking of communication, he was reachable by phone/text at all hours of the day, not just during "business" hours. I asked if he could come lay down an emergency tarp and he simply stated he would be at my house in 45 min. 15 min later Kevin rang my doorbell and immediately jumped onto the roof to start bolting down the mitigation in the middle of the chaos. He even came back for free to help make adjustments the following day to better address the affected areas. After the storm I had them replace my entire downstairs and upstairs roof and they did an excellent job. Any concerns we brought up were addressed thoughtfully and immediately. My experience with all around roofing was phenomenal. I went with Kapili Roofing because my neighbor used them a couple of years ago, and I could see…read morethat they did quality work. They did not disappoint me on my roofing job. It was completed in about 3 days, though there was follow up inspection and a correction of some work done, so it took about a week. They cleaned up every day when they were done. The initial inspection was complimentary, and they took drone footage at that time as well as footage at each step of the way. It was interesting to see my house from above! I think maybe my only disappointment was that initially, I had opted to get the highest grade shingle but resorted to the medium grade. The initial inspection was done in March and the job took place in August, so I would have thought that 5 months was enough time to order the materials and get it shipped, but was instead told it would take until the end of September to come in, so I just went with the medium grade. I would highly recommend Kapili to anyone who needs a new roof!

I checked Yelp for estimates, had 5 different companies come out for quotes, Mike's was in the middle as far as pricing and at first we turned him down cause we thought we should go cheapest but when my husband looked over what all actually gets done, turns out they do the most work at a great price. We went with a silicone coating and OMG, only took 3 days of work (woulda been 2 but we have this weird side panel on the house needed extra work), they power wash and did lots of other stuff, install attic fan, base coat, etc. My husband is obsessed with this laser temperature gun and he been logging the temp, went from 110F to around 85 (on the ceiling, the room is cooler), no joke. We never even use a/c today. Also, tbh out of all the people I met with I felt most comfortable with Mike so I am really glad we chose him. I am so happy we chose to go with these guys and I highly recommend.
