    Cheers to 8 years!

We all know how attempted we are to take the glass when we get a beer that is not only good but the glass is cute! Well every year for the past 8 years, this wonderful little nano brewery celebrates their anniversary by allowing every customer to take the glass. It is such a nice way to bring in old and new customers and show their appreciation. The staff are kind and attentive, they know their beer. They offer non beer drinks like soda and ciders. They offer games and a nice selection of pizzas and nachos. Nested along side of some small local owned shops, this is a must stop during anytime of year.

If your big fan of craft brews, make sure to stop here for some beers. This was an old shop in downtown Wadsworth that was renovated into a small microbrew. They always have a variety of beers. They have some pretty decent appetizers, but we all know if you go here, you are there for the beer. They have test batch Sunday were they come up with a new experimental brew that is good. If you are looking for an excellent place to hang out and drink some high-quality beer, this is the place.

What a fantastic thing to have a brewery, of all things, in this little Wadsworth town. I think this place is exactly what we needed to boost downtown. Wadsworth has been working on filling up its store fronts with places that have staying power and to have a place that brings the folks, let's them sip, bring kids, and look around at the town before them, cool man. It could use some speakers for the TV and music for those hanging around, but maybe with time. Word on the street is they have food coming soon and will start serving wine, but for now you can eat complimentary popcorn or have your local Dominos delivered and wait for your food while playing a board game or chatting with friends. For families with kids, it's a safe place to bring them. If mom and dad need some refreshment, the kids are welcome. Walk on down and try the "College Street" or one of their new brews. They seem to have something new to taste each time we go.

Excellent beer! I'm not much of a beer drinker but found the Buzzed Pumpkin and Raspberry Shandy light and drinkable! The pizzas are amazing too! What a neat little place. WBC is a posh little addition to downtown Wadsworth!

Quirky little spot in downtown Wadsworth, about 45 minutes from Cleveland. The interior is small and initimate in a nice way with all the brewing happening in a closed basement downstairs. Plenty of bar seating and a TV for watching...Star Wars. That is what was playing instead of the NBA playoffs and the bar patrons were loving it lol. The bartenders were super friendly, includung the head brewer who also worked behind the bar and enaged with patrons. I ordered a flight and they provided good suggestions based on my flavor preferences. Tasty beer especially the Custard Hook which tasted like a chocolate covered raspberry. They provided free popcorn at the bar, but there is not much food beyond that. The bartender explained that they wanted to expand the food program, but needed additional licensing. Apparently, the next tier of licensing would allow them to move from popcorn to cutting fruit and shucking oysters. Talk about antiquated beer laws! While I was there, a newly wed couple arrived at the bar and asked for bud light and shots of jager. The head brewer explained they did not serve those here but gave them some beer tasters. Fun quirky place!

Beer, cider, wine, seasonal type mixed drinks. I had the Ethel's apple pie cider. It's a sweet cider tasted like apple pie with cinnamon. Super good. $7 for 16oz. My friend doesn't like beer or cider and she wasn't sure on the wines so she got a rum and coke. Which was your average rum and coke. We sat at the bar. Bartenders were super nice and helpful. The seats are not comfy. They are those metal stools and chairs. No cushion at all. So if you sit a bit your butt will hurt. Just so you know. Nice stop for a quick drink to pass some time. They have TV's going and it's kinda open with the beer tanks along the side. Definite repeat. Maybe try some food next time.

Our server came over almost immediately; helped me navigate the menu for vegetarian options; and checked with the chef regarding my food allergies. My (omnivore) husband had a hot dog. I had a grilled cheese and a crisp, fruity glass of white wine. All very good. We were offered free samples of wine which was a nice touch but one sip of the sample and I ordered a glass. Could not ask for better service and the vibe is warm and welcoming. We'll definitely go back. I already have my eye on the Carolina Coffee porter.

They provide customized menus as a special touch. As there are three selections on four on the courses, the dishes do not appear to be as customized for those with dietary issues. Jamie was our primary server providing a friendly and professional service. For my order, Three of us started with the Crostini while my wife had the Pave. I really liked the flavors of the Crostini, scrumptious! I had a bite of my wife's Pave and thought the texture and tastes superb! Preparing for the second and further courses was my a put off! We were asked to keep our utensils for the future courses! Nothing like dirty silverware sitting on the table dirtying up the area! At this price point, used silverware should be taken and replaced with new! That is the reason for my 4 of 5 stars. We experienced the same during our first visit two years ago and had hope it was resolved after mentioning to staff. That said, it was the only put off of our experience. For the second course my sister and I decided on the Scallop Arancini while my wife and mom went for the Zuppa Toscano. Again, the Scallop Arancini was amazing and scrumptious! The flavors were terrific! I tried a few spoonfuls of the Zuppa Toscano and thought it missing seasoning. The third found 3 of us ordering the Salmon Oscar while my wife ordered the Grilled Cheese. The salmon was rare, which I particularly like but the crab was cold. My preference would have been warm war with a bit of the béarnaise on top. My wife's Grilled Cheese was very tasty with the preserves but looked lonely sitting on the plate. For the last course three of us decided on the Pumpkin Crepe and my wife the Apple Spice Cake. I thought the Pumpkin Crepe to be a lovey presentation and very tasty and my wife enjoyed the spice cake. All in all a lovely experience overall! Thank you!

The prohibition dinner is a 9 course meal served in an underground cavern that was used for aging beer, and likely more shady activities during Prohibition. The cavern has been updated into a dining room and bar. It does run a little chilly, so be sure to dress appropriately. It is also damp and you have to take an elevator down. Factor these into your decision. Let me also say, this is not a cheap activity, and not for picky eaters. They are very pleasant and accommodating of dietary restrictions, but the was a wide variety of flavors and textures that you need to be willing to try. You pay in advance for this activity . We were met in the little reception area by the servers, and taken down to the cave for a tour and to get settled. We did not purchase the wine pairing, but were offered wine by the glass as an add on, and chose from the pairing list, as it was easy and available. my friend and I both enjoyed a glass of Rose. Once we were seated and settled, we saw 2 other parties come in and were seated, back to front, in the cavern. there are 3 seatings, and they stagger your arrival. First up was the bread service, including a butter candle that melts down a lava rock onto your bread. Very fun, and the bread was wonderful. The fry bread was my favorite. I think the menu is seasonal, so I won't share too many details as it will likely be different if you go .The next course was a savory flan in an eggshell, which was really good, and had a bunch of crispy accompaniments. We also had a smoked salmon course, and a veggie fritter that I would order as an entree, it was so good! The main was duck, and I love duck. Finally, we had a really fun dessert that included white chocolate mousse, apple cotton candy, apple cake, and a streusel bit. I loved it. The portions are on the smaller size, but don't worry, we were very full at the end! The servers were so attentive and all very well versed in the menu. they do a great job pacing service per party and making you feel welcome. This is, to me, a luxury activity, and my party really considered it worth our money, and really enjoyed our experience.
