We made a stopover here on our way back to Nashville. Our group wanted to stopover in Arkansas and this seemed like the spot to do it! It's a quintessential down home diner with a great food selection and really nice folks running the place. This was like a down home, local Dennys that a people obviously enjoyed as the place was packed on a Sunday morning. Our group had everything from omelettes to cheese grits, skillets to pancakes, and some darn good coffee! The service was quick, our waitress was very friendly and took great care of us. While staying in west Memphis we was looking for a breakfast spot to go to and this place popped up on google. It was busy when we arrived but found some seats at the high top bar. Our server was nice. The menu was overwhelming with plenty of options. I will say the prices were cheap aid that's always a plus. I got the blueberry cream cheese French toast. The kids enjoyed their pancakes and my partner said his omellete was good. I wasn't super hungry so I just got eggs and sausage. The eggs definitely needed seasoning and the sausage was a bit dry. But I still ate it...so...‍ Our waitress, Coree, was phenomenal. She was super sweet and helpful. She even took 10% off our tab because she thought the food took to long while they had a rush of people. I didn't even notice and thought the wait was fine. So, she got a 100% tip. We got seated right away and then sat there unacknowledged and without water for fifteen minutes... someone finally came over and brought us menus and said our server is coming. Fifteen more minutes pass and nobody brought us drinks or took our order. Server finally came over after thirty minutes. As someone who has worked in the food industry before, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy... the tables on each side of us sat down THIRTY minutes after us and received their food before we did. On the other hand - the food was delicious and reasonable priced. We were stuffed when we left and didn't even finish all we got.
