Waffle House is one of my favorite places to go for a late night snack. I love their waffles and hash browns and when I'm in the mood to WT-it-up, you can find me at a Waffle House somewhere in the metroplex. :) I've been to this location a few times now and, overall, my experiences have been pretty average... you have the typical drunks and what not, but that make for even better people watching, right? But our most recent visit was probably our last at this location. The staff out numbered the customers, by far - yet we had a hard time finding a table because they were unclean. Most had not been bussed yet or they appeared sticky. Yet the staff was crowded around the "bar" area topping a cherry pie for their own consumption and never once offered to clean a table or point out a clean one or acknowledge the mess in any way. Our waiter came and took our order before he enjoyed his pie, but we had to wait on him while he visited and ate his pie with his friends. Their conversation wasn't the most appropriate for a work place with customers around - and yes, I realize that it's a Waffle House, not Del Frisco's...I get it, but come on. Use some sense in mixed company. read more

Service was abysmal. Our waitress, Taylor, forgot some of our drinks. Food didn't all come together - sausage came before actual plates of food, she didn't care who ordered what and just plopped food on the table. There was trash everywhere on the floor that the waitresses just stepped over and kicked around. This location is only receiving one star due to food quality. read more

THE BEST Hash Browns hands down! Over easy fried eggs were also perfect. Service was also perfect! I will be back for sure.

Use to be a regular here but I moved. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. I usually come during second shift its not that busy, the staff make you feel like family. I come back when ever I can or when im in town. Miss this place to death. read more

If it weren't for "southern hospitality" I would never eat here. You get exactly what you pay for. Breakfast was cheap, monetarily and quality. Most Americans would consider the portions small but they are actually appropriate for good health. The real reason for the rating is that the preparation looks like the price. The seating here sucks, they really need to work on how they seat people. It's tighter than an economy class ticket on an airplane.

So my husband was so excited to take me out to our late night early morning treats which normally Waffle House (his favorite) We walked in & theres 2 guys (employees) sitting at the table "on their phones". The floor was partially swept here & there. My comment was time to finish cleaning ladies & gent (I actually thought one was a woman) they said we could sit anywhere we like but no clean spot anywhere. Tables are greasy & floors are definitely needed much attention. As I was walking around looking for a clean table , one made a comment "I guess you don't want to eat here cos it's dirty" which made my husband mad & decided to leave. Trust me we've been here many times. This Waffle House is never clean anyways , which ashamed for the area it's in, but this visit I was embarrassed to call it my Waffle House in my neck of the wood. Needless to say we left without eating. Please investigate the Monday 08/13/2018 at 4:45am & you'll see how these two men was utilizing their time at work & how this place is kept. Because it was National Waffle Day; we stopped in to share a waffle. The employees were outside smoking in front of the entry door when we arrived. One boyfriend pulled in with a large bag from McDonalds. He proceeded to eat his meal while his employee friend sat across from him in a booth. That was our first clue that this establishment has overpriced and poor quality food. Our waitress was friendly for a moment. We told her we were there to share a waffle as it was National Waffle Day! She was not interested. That was the friendly moment. We ordered two pieces of sausage, two scrambled eggs, one waffle and two cups of coffee. The waitress brought us our bill in the middle of our "shared meal". She said we needed to close out the tab so the cook could go home. What in the world is that all about? The bill was more than $16. Items were rigged as a la carte. There were only two meals to choose from (we scoured the menu), thus the high prices. Each sausage patty was $2.80 + tax. This chain is a rip off. I Hop has full meals for $7-$9 that include all of those items. I'm not sure what Waffle House patrons are seeking or why there are zillions of Waffle Houses. I will stick to Denny's and I Hop for friendly service, good food and numerous menu choices at reasonable prices. read more

First off my grandfather has been coming to this location for 16 years. One day he came in and was eating minding his own business and saw a waitress got a good tip. He said to her "Wow you must have given some really good service!" mind you this man is 70 years old. The waitress rolled her eyes and walked away (obviously thinking provocatively) and my grandpa was confused on why she was acting that way. So he left her alone and finished his breakfast. The next time he came in she was there and said "I'm not going to serve you" and he said "I'm not sure why you're upset with me but I want to apologize" she looked at him and said "Apology not accepted" and walked off. So the other waitress (Becca) took his order and didn't give him silverware??? He got his food fairly quickly and was sitting there while his food got cold without silverware? Bullshit right? So anyways my grandfathers buddy came in and he sat next to him and as soon as he sat down Becca gave him silverware. So my grandpa said "Hey Buddy you mind if I take your silverware" and he said "No not at all!" And so he started eating. BECCA comes by and says "THAT WAS HIS SILVERWARE" and my grandpa said "Okay well you didn't give me any so my friend let me have his" and again she walked away. The service was TERRIBLE and my grandpa still tipped 20%. I will be coming here just to speak with Patrick the manager who told my grandpa he would "never get good service here again". read more

Wow, this was bad!!! We should have left when the district manager asked us to move out of the way so he could sweep glass out of the boarded up windows from "the drive by shooting last night". The experience did not improve. The hostess argued with us about sitting down at an empty table and the waitress was rude. Food was as expected. read more

Love, love, love Waffle House! Cheap food, fantastic coffee, and great people-watching. Most people gush over OldWest Cafe and IHOP across the highway, but my family likes WH better! Hardly any wait. Nothing fancy, but it's sure yummy! read more

Good food, decent service, but the facility is small and has far too little non-smoking space. If you come at peak time and are by yourself, there's a good chance of someone plopping down next to you at the bar and lighting up - without so much as asking you if you mind. This happened to me at a recent visit, and I got so nauseous, I had to leave without finishing my meal. I won't be going back there again until smoking is not allowed. read more
