Great experience at this Denny's I loved the 50's diner ambiance and how they incorporated the local vibe into the interior. There were historical timelines for Grapevine and for Denny's utilized throughout the interior. The service was great! Jordan, my server, was fantastic. Super friendly and upbeat. Went with my boyfriend to eat at 11 pm today Thursday October 30, 2025. AMAZING service from Laraunda (I believe that's how you spell it). She had such a gentle and kind demeanor and was on top of refills and anything we could have needed. The food was a 10/10. The best Dennys I have ever been to! Denny's - Two Super Slams - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

It has been a very long time since I stepped foot at a Denny's. Since I had errands nearby, I decided to have breakfast here. At first, I thought the location was permanently closed due to a "For Lease" sign on the left most window. No cars were parked in the front of the building. It happened to be a different suite within the same building. Denny's has exterior signage on that side of the building. I wanted to try one of the Baconalia entrees, but I was not interested in the bacon-infused pancakes nor six strips of bacon. I settled on the Black Label Bacon Slam. Two pancakes and four strips of bacon ended up being a lot of food. I must have had low expectations as I actually enjoyed the pancakes; although I could only eat half. The premium bacon tasted better than the bacon I recently had at other restaurants. Due to their thickness, the bacon ended up not being too crispy. I had very little room for the hash browns. For the few bites I had, it tasted okay. I must had low expectations as I ended up enjoying what I ate. At this time of day, there was only one waitress who was also the hostess. The restaurant's design resulted in a few blind spots. When I was waiting to pay, neither of us could see each other. Another customer had to inform her I was waiting by the register. read more

This review is for the Dennys in Lewisville. This is not my first review for this Danny but that other one was years ago and then this is still a very very good restaurant I love eating breakfast out so they need to hit the spot. The service is A1 and the food is cooked to order the neat thing about Dennys is you have a variety of people eating their young and old alike that help is fantastic I always Johnny on the spot as the older people would you say if you like eating out breakfast this is the place for you the menu definitely has changed and not as good as it once was but food is such a expensive nowadays for anyone cooking or eating. It is your diner to go to they don't change all that much and the place is always clean and so is the ladies room so give yourself A rest from cooking and let them do the cooking and cleaning up always something on sale on their menus and fun and see you there! read more

It has been decades since I was at a Dennys and I was slightly hesitant but this location was a pleasant surprise. We had 10am on Saturday tickets for The Real Unreal Meow Wolf so we headed to the mall area early thinking we would have many options for breakfast, but the only place we found open and close was this Dennys so in we went. It was not busy at all and the dining room was very clean. Our server was very nice and our food came out very fast and it was very good and definitely much better than I had expected or than I remembered. Delish !! My strawberry slam brioche was not too sweet and totally hit the spot. We were served by Z and enjoyed being one of only two tables occupied today at 7:30 am. Awesome place to meet friends for breakfast. I admit, this place was a little weird to find, but once we found it, we had an enjoyable experience. Everything was very clean. Great food selection. Friendly and attentive staff. We had a really good time here and would come back again. We were able to visit over a leisurely breakfast and did not feel rushed. There were some excellent breakfast specials, but we were unable to try those the morning we were there. Will be back to this place. María hosted, served, cooked and managed my visit today. She did this because she had no other option. She was the ONLY worker during my visit. Her extraordinary skills in the kitchen and customer service was superb! She assisted multiple tables and customers as she did to us. I made sure to thank her and tipped her generously. We have been here three times total, first time walked out after no service(we usually give it about 15 minutes) one time was good, and today the last time, no service after 5 wait staff walked by. I know it's new but even if the server is busy you should still acknowledge the guests and let them know you will be right with them. read more

As my son said, "everything tastes wet - the eggs, bacon, and the pancakes". Littlest would not eat his pancakes or his bacon. Pancakes did taste funky, bacon looked like it was boiled. Service was...S.L.O.W. had to keep asking for coffee refills. Food took awhile to be served, and then was under temp. I guess they didn't want to get paid because after food served, never saw server again. Went to counter asking for ticket, guy pulled up someone else's ticket, didn't show the items, just the total - which I could tell was wrong. when he pulled up the ticket, sure enough it wasn't ours, but was probably the most expensive open ticket. We have not visit Dennis's for a long time (used to be our favorite breakfast restaurant in NJ), we went to the Dennis near we live now in Grapevine TX. Seems like a newly open restaurant. The servers are very unorganized, no coffee nor water refill. Took long to get service and made payment. When made payment, the member reward s scanning is not working, the front desk said it always happens and did nothing. "Speechless" service for everything. read more

I've been to many Denny's over the years (I even worked at one ages ago). After visiting this one for the first time, I knew that it would be the one that I would come back to when I am in the area and plan on visiting a Denny's. The food is standard for what a Denny's should be, but it's the service that has kept me coming back to this location. On my first visit, I had the pleasure of having Aris as my server and now -- several visits later -- I still request her. She is attentive to my alimentary desires (like when I make certain substitutions) and is overall just pleasant in both conversation and mannerisms.
