I still say the pecan waffles are the bomb. The bomb? How old am I? The only thing I would not order at Waffle House is the steak, which should be captain obvious knowledge. Had breakfast here since we don't have Waffle Houses in Nevada and we seen one while enroute from Raleigh-Durham NC area to Spartanburg SC area. Everything we ordered was very good and came out very quickly. The All Star Special is a great deal and we ordered ours with eggs, toast, hashbrowns, bacon and waffle. The eggs, biscuit and gravy, and raisin toast sides we ordered were also great. The price here was so reasonable, quality of food great and service friendly and attentive. These folks understand the assignment. Waffle House has never been my choice while traveling but my boyfriend loves the Waffle House. This location is outstanding and made me a fan! From the smiling hostess keeping orderly and quick seating to the kitchen and waitstaff, all were there by choice and happy to be serving their customers. This is a jewel and a rarity to see this kind of engaged staff. The food was quickly prepared and hot to the table. Also noted the cleanliness of this restaurant. I've never been to a Waffle House for dinner before tonight. Had to give it a try. In about 5:30. Not busy on a rainy evening. Ordered a Hash Brown Bowl with Ham, 2 Eggs and Cheese. $ 9.50 Good portion but the ham didn't have much flavor. Kind of bland. The Sausage pick would probably have more flavor. What would really make this dish super is if you could top it with sausage gravy but they don't make any more when the breakfast batch runs out. read more

First of all this is the Waffle House so I didn't go in thinking I was getting fine dining. I only stopped here because my buddy wanted to stop here. First of all I will say the place was clean and the staff was very friendly. It must have been shift change because a lot of new people came in right after we got there. My issues here where the amount of time it took for them to take our order. I ordered the hash browns bowl with sausage egg and cheese. It was ok but not great. I added a gravy biscuit as a side. This location should take to go orders. Your parking lot is absolutely empty and you have an answering machine on that says you won't take to go orders. I am handicap and sitting in the car and you won't answer the phone to take my order my local waffle House back home takes my order on the phone and walks my food out to me to the handicap spot. This is the absolute worst Waffle House I've ever been to in my life. Our server Ruby was clueless as to what a Patty Melt was and her attitude was almost as bad as the food I received. When my food finally arrived, the Patty Melt consisted of two pieces of dry toast, a plain burger and no cheese. When they re-made my sandwich, it wasn't much better but at least it was edible. We eat here infrequently. We have eaten at Waffle Houses 100'sof times. The food is always very good to excellent. The quality we expect whether we're eating in Atlanta, South Carolina or anywhere. The staff is always friendly, helpful and usually Johnny on the spot with refills or to ask how everything is. Close to a 5 star rating. We have sometimes been served after other customers who came in after us without explanation. Thus, since there is no 4.5 star rating avail we go with four. read more
