Service was ok, I have no complaints. It was very clean and smelled clean as well. Really was only like 3-4 people inside. Now let's get to the food. I ordered grilled pork chops, rice and gravy, fried okra and a roll. Also lemonade to drink. Lemonade was really good. Pork chops definitely were baked and not grilled with no seasoning at all, just pepper and salt . Rice and gravy was unseasoned and okra was just ehh. 1 of the porkchops were 85% fat . I gave 2 stars because of the lemonade, maybe this was a bad day for them but I will not be coming back. Oh and they charge if you use your card

We ordered three kids meals, including a hot dog (a little charred) cheeseburger and chicken tenders. All were made fresh and were kid approved. We also ordered the chicken breast meal with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was slightly overcooked but we all know chicken can be finicky. It also came with cornbread but that was not edible. It was essentially a brick of grease. The mashed potatoes and green beans were star of the show! Delicious. Overall, we had a good experience and will be back!

Beth's Country Kitchen -- Pageland, South Carolina…read more If you're driving **Charlotte Myrtle Beach**, this spot is a **straight-shot, easy 3-mile detour** that's absolutely worth it. Beth's Country Kitchen sits on its **own lot with plenty of parking out front**, housed in a **quaint, no-nonsense metal building** that instantly tells you this place is about the food, not the frills. And that's exactly how a proper country kitchen should be. I stopped in on a **Tuesday in January**, and the **lunch buffet was straight-up banging**. ### Buffet highlights: * Crispy, well-seasoned **fried chicken** * **Beef and gravy** * **Mashed potatoes** and **rice** * **Mac and cheese** * **Field peas and snaps** (a personal favorite and not something you see everywhere) * Additional vegetables and sides * A **full salad bar** * **House-made desserts** Everything on the line looked -- and tasted -- **homemade**. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed. This is the kind of food that reminds you of church dinners, family reunions, and Sunday tables. The atmosphere matches the food: **simple, country, welcoming**, and comfortable. Locals clearly know this place, and travelers are lucky when they stumble onto it. **Bottom line:** If you want real Southern country cooking, generous portions, easy parking, and a buffet that actually delivers -- **Beth's Country Kitchen is well worth the detour**. Highly recommended.

The parking lot was PACKED when I arrived, so I already knew it was going to be good. Sure enough I had some of the best cherry pie I've ever eaten! Amazing service and amazing food. It was so good I didn't make the time to take a picture of the food. I saw a Karen on here complaining about the ketchup bottles, so I did make the time to set the record straight- Extremely clean! I will definitely be back next time I drive through

I always order the fluffy on GF with no cheese, and he always orders the Italian on GF with no cheese. There is cross contamination, so if you are celiac, you can ask them to change gloves, use a clean knife, and keep your sandwich away from the others. We have almost never received the correct order without cheese the first time, but they don't make a fuss when asked to remake the sandwiches, and they are very apologetic. These sandwiches are generous with the meat and other fillings, and the pizza-crust-as-bread works so well. We also get their delicious potato salad with our sandwiches. The seating area is not huge, maybe ten tables, but we've never had to wait for one, and we often take our order to go. The restaurant is clean, and parking is fairly convenient. Even with the issue of having to remake sandwiches, I still rate Blake's a solid five star. It's consistently delicious, and I like supporting a small business in my home community.
