Maegan is absolutely the best server in Callaway. She always has fantastic recommendations and really makes WH feel like a home. She is hilarious and has fantastic taste in food. The food was cooked perfectly. The staff was very polite and friendly. Place was clean and the coffee is hands down the best around.

Stopped in after church today. Placed was jam packed. Only waited a few minutes and we were seated. A few more minutes and Morgan had our order in and drinks on the table. A few more minutes it seemed and our food was being placed on the table. Good food. Very friendly staff. We were very pleased. I'd recommend stopping in. read more

In the past this place was pretty good. Lately, it seems to have gone down hill. Or maybe, its the employees working during certain shifts who are bad? On Friday, April 28th somewhere around 8-9 am, stopped by to get some travel food on our way to Tallahassee for Cancer treatment. Mother went inside and ordered three "egg sandwiches". One scambled and two fried and one Tea. Got back to the car and noticed only two egg sandwiches present. Went back in and the lady running the register didn't understand her own ticket she wrote down showing 4 items on it. Ended up paying for a sandwich we never received. She and the cook was even tipped (earlier).... Yet no attempt to make good and make us the third sandwich like we had ordered and like the receipt clearly showed. Couldn't stick around to argue and it all felt useless anyway. Guess we were in the wrong for not checking the order right then and there? *shrugs* Probably won't go back. i noticed some pretty low star reviews so i wanted to swoop in with my opinions.....this is one of my favorite waffle houses!! my boyfriend and i had thanksgiving breakfast there and it was delicious! my bacon was cooked perfectly on my bac,egg,and chz on texas toast sandwich. we had to drive a little out of our way but it was so worth it, great food and smiling staff! thanks see yall soon! read more

Came in with my family and they messed my order up. Asked for egg in the side when I told the waitress she walked to kitchen, handed it to him and proceeded to pick the egg out of my hash brown bowl by hand. After a long morning traveling we stopped at this waffle house for some breakfast. It was such a delight! Our server, I wish I had gotten her name, was a petite little fireball! She was super cool! We got fed, we got watered we got in and out really quick. Decor and atmosphere were your typical waffle house, clean but busy. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular here. read more

My least favorite location so far. Waitress was cool but the cook was upset and my friends and I for ordering a lot of food. We ate it all do I don't see what the problem was. He kept saying, "you guys are killing me right now" and we were the only customers at the time. And it was only three of us. Food was okay, but we were really turned off by the cleanliness. Won't eat here again, over easy eggs were way undercooked, the egg white was slimy. I was the only customer, the place was dirty, it's 4 pm... Only 2 people working and they are more concerned with talking....Told them not to bother cooking more eggs, thinking they would at least take the eggs off my meal.... So I have been to this Waffle House many times in the past 3 years. It used to be our go to after a long day at work. They used to be great. Over the past three visits, spanning about 6weeks, there has always been something wrong. They completely forgot an order of eggs, forgot to put peanut butter chips on a peanut butter waffle, and today they added pecans to a waffle that was just supposed to have chocolate chips. I'm glad we were allergic to nuts. Waffle House you need to get your act together. read more
