We usually do not stop into Wayback just because we are creatures of habit. Today we wanted something different so we thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed! First, the staff is super nice, and the cashier is an FSU fan, how much better can it get? Well, I'll tell ya. Second, the food is made to order, the burgers, tots, fries, everything! Third, the food was really good for a burger joint. Fourth, On Saturday, they had college football on the TVs inside the restaurant and the interior has some nostalgic items on the walls. Wayback is a decent chain of good quality burgers and shakes. This location is a bit tired. The food was okay, but nothing special. The table was a bit sticky and the bathroom was horrendously dirty. Scary to imagine the kitchen after seeing the bathroom. Counter help was courteous but not very friendly. I'll try another Wayback location someday - if they're still around. read more

Restaurant interior is in severe disrepair, several miscolored, water damaged and moldy ceiling tiles, very sticky floors and tables. Ordered 3 burgers, all came out at the same time fresh. One of them came with ketchup by mistake, so we requested it be remade without ketchup. Instead of adhering to the request, the manager yelled about "I ain't remaking it a second time". This is by far the worst set of workers and store I've ever been to. I'm a disabled veteran and went in to get a burger and fries, after 10 minutes of nothing and the drive through people that came after me getting their food I asked where mine was. The lady, manager im guessing came out with a bad attitude after I asked where my burger was after 10 minutes. Doesn't take 10 minutes to cook your thin burgers. She said they wait on people by how you got there, thats some bullshit since drive through people that came after me got their food before me. The black lady with the bad attitude should be fired. The food is great, if and when you can ever get it. What are the actual hours of operation for both the locations in Panama? Have been multiple times but the doors were locked and the drive thru was closed. Not really sure if reliable people work at either location. read more

Food is overall pretty good. But the service is a different story. We got there with 1-2 people in front of us. We ordered and then another 7 people walked in. Somehow alllll of their orders got done before ours. Some even had larger orders. We only has two burgers, fries and onion rings. So finally we're the last people to get served and we could already tell they were confused by order s for some odd reason. Not sure why because it was a very simple order. A burger with everything on it and a burger with just meat and cheese. Fries and onion rings. We get our food and it's wrong. They put everything on both burgers and gave us both fries. So we had to wait another 10-15 minutes after waiting 40 minutes already. More than likely wont ever go back because of that. Or to this location at least. read more

Waited forever to get to drive up no masks, no gloves, no personality at all. Being on the death list for Covid I didn't like no protection at all! Food was ice cold I mean cold. This place is amazing! Our new go-to burger place. Tons of choices from burgers, chicken, cheesesteak, even grilled cheese. Onion rings, fries, and tater tots. The staff is friendly and professional and my food has always been made to order, never a problem. My husband says it's the best cheesesteak in the area, and he would know! My family visited this establishment while on vacation, while there the Co2 was out on the soda machine so if you purchased a soda the gave you a can soda and when it was time for a refill they sold you another 12oz soda for $2.88. The customer should not have to pay extra for substitute items because you don't have the product. read more

This place has some awesome gluten free buns. The food is hot, fresh, and tasty. The shakes are pretty good too. We really enjoy the food here. They seem to have some disgruntled employees. We have had some really nice and friendly guys serve us, and we have had a really bitter-faced lady serve us. I tried WayBack out on their 50% off special one afternoon. The food was great!! Tonight I went through the drive thru I ordered cheesesteak,single burger and chili cheese fries we had never eaten those they were delicious!! The toppings on the burgers are very fresh. The cheesesteak is excellent with the shaved steak is so tender. We had ordered chicken strips not on this occasion but were very good hand breaded. The staff has always been super friendly and very supportive of each other it's very rare to see such great team work!!This is definitely a must eat!! read more

Just a burger, nothing special except it's overpriced. We had to try it once and now that I have, there are better burger places in town that deserve my money. Personally I think the burger was small and the portion of fries was also lacking. For the two of us our meal was around $19 with drinks. I love wayback burger, but this specific location is subpar. The food was good although my fries probably weren't as fresh as they should be. The employees were arguing where I could hear them at a booth closest to the door. Arguing about getting out on time and who is or isn't going to sweep those fries off the floor. The employees don't look very clean and professional, I would use the term sloppy. Also, I asked for honey mustard with my food and I never got it.. the guy who brought me my food didn't ask me if I needed anything else and I debated going to the counter but no one was there. We stopped in for fries and a shake. They have a wide selection of flavors. We chose Cafe Mocha. The shake had great consistency and flavor. We also ordered fries. They we as good or better than Five Guys (great). The server was extremely pleasant and efficient. While the food quality was very good, the employee was awesome. Went to WayBack Burgers today with my grandsons. They ordered a burger plate and onion rings and a philly cheese steak sandwich and onion rings. I ordered a cod sandwich. They brought the boys their sandwiches and onion rings and they were ok. They brought me a burger . I rejected it saying that I had ordered a cod sandwich. The manager took the burger away and went to get the cod sandwich. This took several minutes and that was understandable. However the fish when I tried to cut into it to let steam escape was hard and when I started eating it the fish was still frozen solid. When I took it to the counter and asked for the manager she started to explain how it had been cooked and I told her "I don't care I just want my money back" She then did give me my money back, explaining that she could only give me the price of the burger that the cod cost more. I will not be back for the price of this mess I could have taken the boys to Chow Time and gotten better food and service For a burger joint this place is really pricey read more
