This Waffle House greeted me and took care of me and my family. 5 stars because everything was good and we were in and out of there!

It's a Waffle House and exactly what you'd expect from a Waffle House, at exactly the price you'd expect from a Waffle House.

I love Waffle House. I don't have one near me, so when I travel it's a treat to go to them. I have never had a bad experience. Good food, friendly staff, and always return for more. Until today at this specific location. We walked in. It was semi busy. Ok no problem. We sat at the empty bar. We were the only 2 people there. No hello, no offer of coffee, no utensils brought. Nothing like it's always been. So we wait. Maybe they were too busy and short staffed. No problem. Then a party of 8 (yes 8) came in. They sat at the lower bar. They were given napkins and utensils. Then the were each given a Waffle House hat to wear. I kept trying to be patient thinking maybe because they had a kid with them they were catering with the hats and all. No problem. Then I hear the waitress say, "Ok let's get you all some drinks. What would you like?" That was it! We had been sitting there for 15ish minutes without even a hello. 8 people walk in and they were given preferential treatment. I'd been happy to patiently wait 30+ minutes had I had a cup of coffee in front of me. But no, nothing. We left pissed! Side note: we had been traveling for 2 days, had not eaten all day. It was 1:00 pm. and we were starving. Out of all the restaurants along our route we chose this Waffle House.....apparently the wrong choice! read more

This is a great Waffle House location! It's clean and the servers are friendly. We are staying at a hotel nearby during our road trip and have been here for breakfast for the third time. On a road trip and needed a break from driving in heavy rain. Thank goodness for Waffle House. Late night just me, two waitresses and a cook in the place. Standard WH food: hot, greasy, tasty and fast. Cooked up and served with a smile. Bathroom clean and coffee fresh. The chili obviously had been sitting a while, but that's probably more company policy how long to keep it instead of the cook being lazy. In and out in 35 minutes and back on the freeway. read more

My wife and I like dining at Waffle House when traveling sometimes. I think we found the BEST one of all in Columbus. Our breakfast was delivered fast and delicious, consisting of eggs, potatoes, meat and coffee. The most amazing thing to me at this location was our server, Paige. I don't mean to be stereotypical, but Paige was the most impeccable, professional and personable server I ever met at a Waffle House. My wife and I both thought she could be the Regional Manager for this chain of restaurants. Incredibly well spoken and absolutely beautiful girl. I know, we've all had the late night Waffle House run. The normal greasy spoon experience is so much more here. The employees all greet each customer with a warm Good Morning! We ate at the bar since it was a busy Sunday morning. Darius, Who's name tag said boss man truly ran the show shouting orders running food and cleaning tables. This Waffle House was like no other, the employees were actually happy and seemed so willing to help. Even when they were super busy they all seemed To enjoy their work. This restaurant also was super clean, and you could tell each employee took pride in the look and atmosphere. It's worth stopping in to watch this place in action. As a leader myself, to see the magic this location has is fantastic! The food tastes great and delivers like Waffle House always does, but to see the customer service and employees pride is unheard of especially at Waffle House. I love waffle house. I always make an excuse to stop at one when I travel outside of Illinois. We were driving from Louisville to Chicago and stopped here. They were pretty busy, so we sat at the counter and ordered from there. I got a cup of coffee, delicious as usual and a pecan waffle with some hashrbowns (cheese, please). My friend orders a peanut butter waffle with hashbrowns with gravy. Before we know it, our food is in front of us and we are ready to eat! They forgot my friends gravy on the hasbrowns, but she didn't mention it and went without. It's cool because they didn't charge for it so no harm done. My only complaint is that Waffle House isn't near where I live. Yeah, I'm in the north. Yeah, it's near a city. But I love waffles! You can't go wrong. Great food fast. Awesome service! read more

Great, clean Waffle House! The staff was extremely friendly and they recommended menu items that we absolutely loved! It is so cost-effective and you receive a large amount of food. If you go with someone else I highly recommend ordering the All-Star breakfast, with an extra waffle, and splitting it. Amazing as always! :) I wanted to review this particular location because the staff was the friendliest I have EVER seen in a Waffle House and believe me...I'm a Waffle House Connoisseur! Everyone was smiling, waving and greeting people at the door. This is not the Waffle House experience I am used to. I've been to about 30 different waffle houses across the US (I really do love this place) and I'm always used to the attitude of what appears to be over worked, underpaid staff. This was not the case here. What a difference attitude can make. I typically leave very satisfied and tummy happy, but this time I also left with a positive attitude. I don't see how this place is so packed, considering the service that we recieved. The waitress was slower than pond water. She got half of our food wrong and brought someone elses food out to us. This was our first time going to a Waffle House. The staff that served us was some of the friendliest that we have ever had. They offered to let us try different menu options and were extremely helpful in our choices. The restaurant was clean and the food was great. But the part that made this experience the best was the service that we received. This sounds strange but great Cheese Burgers! Burgers are better than Papas Grill . Savory hash browns are yummy!

Food here is really good.My biscuits and gravy was served hot and the gravy was nice and thick with plenty of sausage in it. The toast was just right and the large glass of milk was just that large and good and cold. My wife had 2 eggs over easy and hashbrowns. My husband ordered a Patty Melt the way they used to make it. The waitress said her manager had been there 13 years and she would make it herself. She called the manager over and the managers attitude was that we were being silly even to the point of rolling her eyes. She said the only difference was the bread. She told the waitress to just order it. When the sandwich came it was not the way they used to make the patty melt. This had 2 slices of cheese plus bacon and hardly any onions. The only thing the was right was the meat and the wheat bread. I ordered a salad which was fine after picking out the black and wilted lettuce. We both ordered a drink but was never offered refills.
