    Steak and shrimp combo

Always a solid meal at this location. Super crowded which is the norm for Texas Roadhouse. Never had bad service. Not much of an ambiance unless you count "loud"

FIlthy carpet with dried food from the night before, adjacent to where we were seated.

We we the first persons seated @ 3 pm and the carpet where we were seated was filthy with sweet potato residue; so no, it wasn't a recent "spill". The table, salt and pepper shakers, and the silverware had crunchy bumps (dried food including lettuce) on them. It took 4 sets of dinnerware before I got an acceptable one and then I cleaned it with my napkin. The food was served on room temperature plates - a no no for serving steaks especially with Filet Mingon. As I left, there were 5 employees standing around the host desk chatting and using their phones while two full cinnamon butter cups, overturned and spilling, were on the carpet. When I pointed it out - they did nothing, so i picked it up and sat it on the desk. I sent two emails, one to the VP of TXRH, and got no response therefore I submitted this review. The steaks when warm are better, best when they are hot, but this Texas Roadhouse location needs a "Come to Jesus" moment to survive. Simply clean the restaurant and retrain the staff on basic best practices in restaurant service and management. Done!

    Medium cooked ribeye

Went for dinner with my in-laws at this Texas Roadhouse location. When we arrived, my in-laws had already put their name in for our table and were quoted about 30-40 minutes for a wait. I don't know how much time actually passed before getting a table, but I was extremely impressed by how often they were calling people for their tables. It seemed like every 3-5 minutes they were calling back at least 1-2 tables. It was clear from that point forward that this place is a well oiled machine. When we got called back, we immediately were given a couple baskets of their famous rolls and cinnamon butter. Our drink order was also taken, but I stuck to water. Our drinks were brought out quickly. We took a few minutes to explore the menu, and it become evident that I just had to get steak. My fiancé was craving ribs, and neither of us wanted full meals so we shared the 12 oz ribeye and rib combo dinner. I chose a house salad with ranch for my side and he chose a baked potato. My parents in-law shared a bone in ribeye with a two salads, and my brother in law ordered a ribeye with house salad and mashed potatoes. As I was checking into Yelp, I received a free appetizer coupon for fried pickles. We enjoyed those and our salad came out soon after ordering as well. I am a huge Texas Roadhouse salad fan. Their ranch is amazing, and I really appreciated the boiled egg on their salads as well. The fried pickles were tasty, but I will admit they were a bit salty to fully enjoy. Our steaks came out soon after. I'm not well versed in the different cuts of steak so I trusted my in-laws to recommend one for me. We ordered our ribeye medium, and oh my goodness I was so impressed!! I'm not sure I've ever had steak with such a buttery texture. It was literally melt in your mouth quality, and the flavor profile was perfect. I am insane so I added Tabasco sauce to it, but even without that spice the seasoning was just perfect. The ribs were equally as melt in your mouth worthy. They definitely fell off the bone and were easy to eat. I'm not a huge rib fan so I just had a piece of one, but the texture was amazing and the sauce was a great blend of sweet and salty. The baked potato definitely earned an award for supporting side. We didn't get it loaded, but the butter was enough. The skin was perfectly crispy while the potato was soft and creamy. I dipped the potato into ranch and was especially impressed. I didn't take photos of the other meals, but my family was impressed all around! One thing that we talked about a lot is that they are incredibly efficient. The servers are always moving and doing something, and everyone in the restaurant has an important role in turning over tables. People are willing to wait so long for a table because they know their service is going to be amazing and their food will be fresh. We were trying to guess how many people are served in a single Saturday, but we couldn't even fathom it! Their prices are very reasonable for being a steak house. For four people, the bill was about $119, but that was considering that a couple people got beers with refills. If you're going for a date night, I recommend getting a combo meal and splitting it if you're okay with not having leftovers. Personally, I don't think leftovers from here would be as good as in the restaurant.

    Baked Potato

Ordered a loaded baked potato and this is what I got. No butter, sour cream, cheese or bacon. Potato not even cut

Are there any options for vegetarians?

They have an option to order 4 side items as a meal so you could get salad, baked potato, broccoli or other meatless side item as your meal and of course the rolls.

As always in our reviews we started with an appetizer and we chose the Cheesy Bacon House Tots. They were delicious!! The spicy ketchup while nothing fancy added a great variety to oppose the ranch our wonderful server Joe recommended without hesitation. You can also add the warm soft rolls to the app experience. They were even more tasty. Could eat a ton of those alone and be happy! For our mains she got steak and shrimp and chose grilled shrimp as opposed to fried. She absolutely loved the steak and said it was exactly what she needed! The shrimp sadly, was not, she took a bite and had a reaction I haven't seen before. We believe the seasoning was just not to her taste. Our server Joe again was right on the spot and offered the solution to swap for the fried shrimp and they were so much better in her opinion. We cannot thank Joe enough for being so friendly and professional. She had mashed potatoes for her side and was not blown away but that is perfectly okay. The meal came with a salad, however it was okay at best. The uncut veg while visually appealing takes away from the eating experience. As for my main I ordered Messy Mike's Burger without the fresh red onion to medium well temp. The temp was overdone, but truthfully is no big deal to me. It was still tasty and very flavorful. An item I would order again for sure!!! The French fries were crispy and well seasoned and the green beans were also a great addition to the meal. Overall the food was great and alone is a 4 star given the remedy. The big driving force for the 5 star was the fantastic service provided by Joe. It isn't often I mention the server, but he was attentive, kept our drinks full, was polite and the true home run was the quick remedy of the issue with the shrimp. We hope the tip we left was enough to show him that we appreciated him and thought he did well!! We will return and hope to have him as a server again.

Ordered the NY Strip with Ancho butter, steamed veggies and a Caesar salad…read more It says something about a steakhouse when the best part of your meal is the salad -- and the Caesar really was excellent. Perfect portion, great dressing, well-balanced. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights end. The steak and veggies arrived shortly after I finished the salad, but the vegetables were cold and clearly undercooked. The bigger disappointment was the NY Strip itself. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the cut was barely a half-inch thick. Grey throughout, with zero sear on either side. To be fair to the kitchen, it's nearly impossible to hit medium rare on a steak that thin, so the real issue isn't the cooking -- it's the quality of the meat being sourced. The ancho butter was $1.99 extra and absolutely flavorless. Didn't even taste like real butter much less any seasoning in it. For a restaurant billing itself as a steakhouse, the cut and quality of the beef has to be the priority. This one missed the mark.

The building sits on the banks of Driftwood River (now called East Fork White River) and offers spectacular views of the famous Robert N. Stewart Bridge in Columbus, Indiana. Upland Brewing Company is a local brewery that started in Bloomington, Indiana in 1998. Now, they have a number of popular restaurants/pubs across Indiana. The building, built in 1871, served as the Pump House supplying water to the city of Columbus, Indiana. The Pump House faced financial, water and quality challenges over the years, but was instrumental in industrial growth of the city. The Pump House operated until 1950, when the city moved to well water. The Pump House served a number of businesses and organizations since 1950. Upland opened the pub in 2016. We were greeted and promptly seated in the bar when we entered. Our server/bartender, Jess, was attentive and friendly. Several other servers also engaged with us, as well. One brought me a fascinating pamphlet describing the history of the building because I was curious. We arrived in time to sample their 3:00 - 5:00 pm Happy Hour. (I love a good Happy Hour.) We ordered Dragonfly IPAs, which went down smooth on a hot summer day. We also enjoyed a couple of sliders from the Happy Hour menu. The Bad Elmer's Fav burger was good with lots of bacon but my favorite was the Hoosier Tenderloin. I should note that much of the food is locally sourced. The building has a large dining room, bar, private dining, private event room, and a fabulous patio with river views. The landscaping is gorgeous. Their signature beers are available for purchase to go along with the logo shirt and a few other logo items. I highly recommend a visit. The food and beer are first class. The setting is lovely and service is attentive.

Pretty inside but also on the inside I had a disaster experience .... Well I've eaten here once…read morebefore and it was awesome but this time it wasn't. Matter of fact I'm not sure if I want to go back. We were sat in an almost empty restaurant but that was most likely because of time of day (around 2). Our waitress though took awhile to come greet us. She took our orders and to start off on a wrong foot our 2 cocktails and WATERS took over 10 minutes to come out. I know this because I had a text I had sent and being aggravated I went back and looked at the time when I sent it . Later on our appetizers came out. It was about 20ish minutes after our order went in. Then our food came about 5 minutes after that giving us little room left on the table. I know it was an almost 45 minute wait to get everything. I ordered the blackened chicken which was amazing my first visit a couple months previously but this time it was dry and definitely blackened .... AKA burnt! The manager was checking on the other tables she had with an additional waitress running around so I assume our waitress wasn't the only one taking care of them (4 as seen in picture actually) and when he popped by to ask how everything was he took my plate to remake it. 15ish MORE minutes go by and I asked the waitress if she could check on my food and she said 'well chicken takes a while to cook'. In disbelief I jokingly said I can make it faster at home so please just get mine to-go since my parents were already done and had been done for awhile. We got to-go boxes for their leftovers and my food came out shortly after . We received $ 40 off without asking so I appreciated getting something for 1 1/2 hours waiting in a nearly empty restaurant and no meal. I went home and when I went to heat up my food AGAIN the chicken was charred and extremely dry. I ate the sweet corn farrotto which was atleast good and trashed the chicken. Since it was now dinner time I made my own meal With the time and overall poorly done meal(s?) I had I think I'll avoid it happening again by just going elsewhere. It's a shame because we went here with a party of 8 previously and they did so good. We were honestly thinking this would be our spot for special occasions after that but it's likely not worth it since the manager and chef left us hanging and yet again served something subpar. I'd of hoped they make absolutely sure my simple chicken dish was correct the second time around I didn't take a pictures of food we got unfortunately. Our appetizers looked and tasted good but they were eaten quickly because we were starving by the time they came out around 3 so no time for those pictures either. I was then too busy sending my food back and eating appetizers. Once my chicken came out togo we all just wanted out of there! Then once I got home I was too aggravated and gave up any reason to go get my phone I suppose. Why bother? They didn't bother to make it right after all except to give us some $ off but I still wasted my time that day and again when I got home making my own food . The manager will definitely remember this disaster though

I had anticipated my visit for a little while now but I can imagine I'd be delighted to find this spot on an adventure through the area. The vast plant nursery was also delightfully unexpected. The inside of the Farmhouse is just like a farmhouse, with the most charming interior that feels like Thanksgiving dinner with a collection of all the tables and chairs that you could find in your house to host everyone. First course, delightfully unexpected, was queso and chips! Free of charge, we were served a nice Rotel-style queso dip with multigrain chips. Yum! The tea selection is nice, it's all bagged teas that you get a small pot of. I got a salted caramel tea. Delish! Delightfully unexpected! I got the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips. I love a chicken salad sandwich and this one hits the spot. We split a slice of peach pie for dessert that was just lovely and warmed up for us. All courses arrived pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a stop to the Farm House on your trips to Brown County. I hope I can make more road trips in my future plans as soon as I can so I can visit again!
