You don't know what you have until it's gone. As I drive in a huge counter-clockwise circle around the USA that will last two months, this is my last Waffle House. The next one won't be until I get to Arizona. So it's breakfast this morning and I'm going to savor it. Waffle with pecans. Eggs over medium. Hash browns covered and chunked. Eggs and hash browns were perfect. Prepared quickly and ready almost instantly. The crew here is on point. The waffle was less than perfect. A little underdone and not the full round shape. Came in at 3:09 am on Sunday of Labor Day weekend(9-5-2022) As soon as we walked in the door the lady in charge of the grill informed us that we can't order anything but waffles or eggs (no meat no hashbrowns) because she needs to clean her grill (that was still smoking hot from just taking food off of it) before 4 am and she had to smoke a cigarette first they've been busy and she hasn't had time. Which I totally understand if she needed a break I wouldn't have cared at all... but she said it takes 45 mins to clean the grill and she didn't have time to cook a couple orders of hash browns and sausage and scrambled eggs. Pretty much bullshit if you ask me I've never seen a place of business turn a customeraway with such ease. She said the manager would be upset if the grill wasn't clean. She wasn't rude it was just kind of shocking. Wish I could give less stars read more

I felt really bad for the servers here. They were sweet and trying to provide a great experience. Unfortunately, this place smells like a sewer from poor building maintenance. I tried to enjoy my coffee at least. I love Waffle Houses. The servers get 5 stars, the owner get 0 stars. That averages to a 3-star review in my opinion. read more

Be careful here at this location! They will call the police on you and have you arrested! I was in distress from a domestic violence situation with my husband and entrusted in these two girls whom which were employees there. Asked them where a safe hotel I could stay at around the area and it turned into a complete nightmare! Beware of this Waffle House and beware of this town! This Waffle House is horrible from the time you walk in the door . 3 waitresses so there was plenty of service to clean the 4 tables were vacant and no one made a attempt to clean them off so we could sit down . Until the manager ask someone to clean a table for us . I don't know what kind of drugs they are on but damn . they all look lost like they don't know what they are doing! We love Waffle House and had to go while out of state and came across it. Dirty first and foremost. Table had flakes of food and old syrup on it. The menu they had on the table was very small and not all their food. I had to ask after the hash browns because all the options weren't there. The waitress didn't understand I needed to know the options. I finally just looked at a menu on my phone. She just kept saying "what do ya want?" I asked for cheese, onions, tomatoes and sausage gravy. Three of my family got sausage hash browns, looked edible. I got a waffle which was cold with cold butter and my daughter got choc chip waffle. Her waffle was cold hence the choc chips on top hard as a rock. I was then told no gravy for my hash browns, bummer but I survived. We have always loved the Waffle House in the past and their hot great breakfast food. However in the past we were in larger cities where they had more customers and experienced staff. I really love Waffle House but this experience was pretty uncomfortable. It seemed kind of dirty in the restaurant and several of the servers and cooks were outside smoking when we got there and I'm not sure they washed their hands afterwards which made me uncomfortable. Our server was good and the food was OK; not as good as usual but I may have been turned off. They have a new jukebox which was pretty cool- many more selections. read more

Probably the worst place in the area! I ordered bacon, coffee, dry toast, hash browns with onions, and a side of gravy. With more people in the kitchen area than dining area, one would think they'd get the order correct. My cousin wanted an omelette and she asked for a menu with omelettes on it. The goofy waitress, yes GOOFY, said it was on a "secret menu" and got a menu from behind the counter for my cousin. Firstly, we were sitting close to the waitress station and I ran out of coffee and had to ASK for more and when I asked for more cream, she made a noise of discontent. My bacon and greasy hash browns came out first, the waitress apologized the toast delay, they had buttered it. I started to eat the hash browns and found a full ketchup packet under my hash browns. I asked the waitress about the packet and she said that's how they mark the plates for has browns. All I could think was how many times have I seen these things on the floor. I was grossed out and couldn't finish the greasy hash browns. When she brought my dry toast, I asked about the gravy. She forgot. She brought me a small side of COLD gravy for my then cold toast. Reading into her ineptitude, I asked only for the gravy to be heated up. She took in and brought it back with chunks of scrambled egg in it. I am ALLERGIC to eggs! I told her that and she said heating it on the grill was fastest and she didn't realize that I was allergic. Duh, I didn't ORDER EGGS for a reason! I asked to be comped for my half of the meal and she said she'd take off the gravy and 10% more. Well, as I told my cousin, "The pen is mightier than the sword." I wanted to talk to the manager but, it was the dipstick manager who warmed up the gravy and had the dirty ketchup packet plate marking policy so I figured that the waitress was just a reflection of her boss. I'll be looking for corporate or the franchise owner. This lack of care for the customer has got to change or this restaurant will suffer! Very awful, if I could give no stars I would've did that. I paid $40 for the worst food I've ever ate, terrible customer service, brought us our check without asking if we needed anything else. Super overpriced for the quality of food you eat here. I'd rather go dumpster diving than ever come back here. Workers are and look like bozos. Its a waffle house, they all look and taste the same. It satisfies some strange human craving for waffles or potatoes.

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family roughly once a month for the last 4 years, what once was a fun experience with great good and wonderful service has turned into a nightmare. This last year has not been a good one for them or us, with my last two visits being the worst. The food is very dependent on who is cooking, you can either get burnt hash browns and undercooked eggs with foul coffee or it can be edible but not nearly as good as when it was a few years ago. Honestly, that isn't even the tip of the iceberg unfortunately. Sometimes great customer service can distract you from crappy food. I have seen the wait staff change over they years as expected but this newish girl takes around 15 minutes to clean a dirty table on a busy day another 10 minutes to get your food order and drinks will only come as your food is coming out (and something has been said to her) and you are lucky if it doesn't come with an argument. BUT single men rejoice as she will take care of you immediately and have your drinks to you within minutes of you sitting down. Not all of the staff is this bad though, just the occasional arguing and spatter back and forth between co-workers. 2.5 out of 10 would NOT recommend. read more

The food is always consistently good and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness is definitely debatable- a roach once fell off the ceiling into one of my family member's plates whilst dining there, and I've heard employees talk about a rat problem in the restaurant openly (hopefully they were joking). But considering the location and type of restaurant, I wouldn't come with high expectations for the price and you won't be disappointed. Half bad, half good! read more
