Service was slow! Cook could only make one dish at a time, took 30 min to get food with only two tables, including us. Dirty tables every where.

This location was hopping at the time of my arrival and the all female staff rocked it out of the park and delivered an amazing meal at the same time. When I mentioned the fact that it was girl power to my son, they seem to be energized by this. Way to go Waffle house and whoever invented the hashbrown egg bacon bowl, kudos to you

    Poorly made waffle

We usually go to Waffle House in Milford for breakfast on the weekend, but we were in Dayton this past weekend and stopped into this location. Employees were more concerned with to go orders than customers who came in to eat. By the time we got our food our eggs were cold and the cheese didn't melt. Waited ten minutes to get the sausage for our order after we received our other food. Plus, it was the most pitiful waffle I've ever seen. I understand everyone is short handed these days, but these seemed more like poor management. I truly hope it was a bad day and not every Sunday afternoon is like that.

It has become a tradition to stop at the Waffle House on the way to Hamvention on one of the mornings before the show. So this year. as in the past, we stopped by and the joint was jumping. We had our traditional breakfast, this time with four of us rammed into a booth. And we had a great meal and fun with the friendly staff. They were all wearing Hamvention T shirts and I suspect that when this event occurs they have some of the busiest business days of the entire year. There must have been 20 people jammed behind the counter serving up waffles, omelets and grits and everyone was hooting and hollering and having a great time. I had a Fiesta omelet and it came with ham, cheese and veggies and those included Jalapenos. IT was great and the grits were great too. Waffle Houses are usually pretty good, lowest common denominator kind of places. But this particular one is a cut above.

This is only the breakfast side, but nothing else matters here.

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

Today we ordered the mixed family broasted chicken and no issue when we were told there woukd be a wait because we expect that because it is broasted. We were told when our order would be ready and we arrived a little early. Our order should be ready around 6 pm and we arrived at 5:50 pm. We phoned at 5:50 pm stating we wanted to inform them we we were ready in space 3 but were early. She stated she was bagging it up as we speak. Eleven minutes went by and no order. My husband walked in. Our order was setting there. The lady said I am not sure what happened your order is ready it has been setting there. My husband said we have been setting in spot 3 for 11 minutes waiting since we phoned and was told then she was bagging our order. She had no response and he walked out. We tipped $5 on the $30 to go order, come on now! I asked my husband to count the chicken it was all there then we drove home. The chicken was dry. In the past their broasted chicken has ALWAYS been good. This tasted old not fresh but yet it was hot however, not seasoned. The fries were as if they were at the bottom of the bag. Several small pieces versus the larger fries. I have never been served them when I have ate in their restaurant before. I thought that was odd. The coleslaw appeared to be days old. I was not impressed due to the taste of the food and lack of getting me my order on time. I will be choosing someplace else to spend by hard earned money. Too many disappointments here.

Don't let the outside of the building fool you from coming in. This diner is quaint, charming, and a lot of TLC from the staff all the way down to the food. Kisses to the chef for the wonderful delicious meal as well! Many locals were coming in and out, so it's definitely a great hot spot for breakfast and lunch! Their social media…read moreportrays a cozy, welcoming, family-friendly coffee shop with comfortable seating, signature drinks, and a great food menu. As two moms meeting for coffee with our young children, that atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, our experience in person was very different from what we expected. The space felt cold and industrial, with concrete floors, minimal décor, and very little to soften the noise. It was extremely echoey, and between the kitchen sounds and overall volume, it wasn't the comfortable environment we had hoped to spend time in with our babies. While there were couches and seating available, the overall setup felt more geared toward quick visits or takeout than relaxing and staying awhile. The coffee itself was good, and the menu offered plenty of interesting food and drink options. I can see how the space might appeal to someone looking for a quick coffee stop or a place to work on a laptop. However, the atmosphere wasn't inviting enough for us to want to stay, relax, or order anything additional. We were hoping for a cozy coffee shop experience, and the space simply didn't deliver that feeling. The biggest disappointment was the disconnect between the impression we got from social media and the actual experience of the space. Had we known what it was really like, we likely would have chosen a different location for our coffee meetup. Others may enjoy the industrial style, but families or friends looking for a warm, lounge-style coffee shop to settle into for a while may find the experience different than expected.

This establishment is connected to an adjacent brewery called "Alematic" and it looks interesting but doesn't start serving until late afternoon. The coffee are excellent, but the food is incredible I opted for an avocado toast since the salmon toast that I saw listed in the yelp menu photos is no longer offered (boo). I went for the Cadillac option, going all-in having on a bagel and topped with an egg. This was a wise move and fantastic. The bagel was light, not dense and doughy and perfectly toasted. The avocado was generously applied and didn't taste like it was out of a spray can, like I anticipated. It had nice chunks of fresh avocado. On top was drizzled garlic infused olive oil and home made pickled onions. Well done! My only negative comment was that only two people were working, one dedicated in the kitchen and this really slowed down service with the other employee handling orders and coffee production. It was a good 10 minutes to order and the place was far from busy. It took another good 10 minutes to get my coffee. They really need a third person. I'm not complaining, but want to calibrate customer expectations in case someone was in a hurry. I would definitely come back and I'd like to check out the tap room when in operation.
