I'd never been to a Waffle House before but this was such a great first. First off, the food was really good, we went twice during our four day trip to Memphis. I ordered the cheesesteak melt and honestly. What really made it such a stand out visit for my family and I was our server Stacey. He was so fast and polite. Later we got to talking with him and found out that he's only been working there for about a month and we were his first large order. He said he was so nervous, but he did so well! Came here on Christmas Day and of course we knew it was going to be packed. So we strategized and came during off hours and it wasn't that packed. We split into 2 tables because we had 6 people in our party. The cook made really good hash browns which is why I give this place a 2 stars. However, it's been an hour and everyone that's been coming in after us got their food except for my friend. We've asked the waiter a couple of times if the food is coming out. And it never came. Other people around at the other tables got the same order but they were served first. So we are leaving without her even getting to eat anything. When we told josh, our waiter, to cancel our order because it's been a ridiculous amount of time that passed, he didn't seem to care and just said okay and moved on. Went around 1:00 and of course there were a few people in there. Only two people working in the restaurant. Our waitress name was Laquetta. She was the sweetest late night waitress I had ever met. Was very shocked. Checked on us quite a bit through out the night. Food was great. She made gravy from scratch and it was delicious! Had my hash brown smothered and covered! this is the nastiest establishment i ever had the misfortune to enter. the floors were filthy af. when i got my beverage it was a dead gnat on my class so i asked for a plastic cup to pour the juice in. guess what ? a gnat in my beverages as well. so 2 gnats ! on top of that rude ass young lady working there didn't even look at me. if you're working in a repulsive restaurant at least have decency to greet and thank your customer. fuqk waffle house just throw the whole waffle house away and replace it with another broken egg. we need one in this area read more

Went here today and received excellent service. As soon as we sat down, a waitress was there ready to take our order. Our drinks were handed over promptly and our order was ready to be taken. Our waitress was really nice and once we entered, we were greeted by several workers. We watched as our food was prepared and was brought to us in a very timely manner. They had plenty of staff. Some were cooking and some were cleaning. All of the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We tipped our waitress well and will return. I like this Waffle House. read more

Walked in and was not greeted nor seated. There were about 7 employees there. And we eventually seated ourselves . A girl came took our drink order and another for our food order. Not too sure which one would be our waitress. But for it being Waffle House it was actually fairly clean. First time at this particular Waffle House. Service was good, & food was very good. My waffle could have been cooked a little longer, but that is okay. I really enjoyed my meal.

Waffle House - a good place to go for your basic breakfast fare. The waffles are good, the hash browns have a good variety of items you can add. Motherfucker you know what Waffle House is. You know what it entails'. But, here's my experience. Of course I got the all American special, you gotta get that shit with hashbrowns and them eggs scrambled or just commit suicide. Also I happened to get the 2$ burger that was well worth the money, especially with some extravagant hash browns. I've included a picture, you tell me if its worth it. Finally the service, our waiter was super duper nice he just needed to feel a little more comfortable with his motions. We came on a Saturday and it was very busy. But that wasn't an issue at all. We watched a man touch raw bacon and then touch the other plates that were about to be served. Then touch the bacon that was ready with the same gloves.. so much cross contamination just in the 3 minutes. Oh and found a hair on my toast. When we told the manager, he didn't even look at us and grabbed the plates and said it's good, goodbye. I totally get it was busy as hell. But he definitely could have taken a minute to just apologize or even seem sympathetic. read more

When you go to a Waffle House at 2 am after being out at the bar all night, you know exactly what to expect. This place is great for a late night waffle, BLT, and an opportunity to recap the night with everyone! I go here occasionally when I'm actually in town. The staff has been incredibly friendly and polite, and they are very fast in getting the food and drinks out to my table. You can tell they have a sense of friendship among the staff, based on their conversations and the way they carry themselves. read more

Basically, order the exact OPPOSITE of what you want and you might end up with what you wanted to order in the first place. Not one person in my group got even half of their orders right. I can't even count on one hand how many things were wrong between the whole THREE of us...and, no, it wasn't because the place was busy or anything--we were one of a whole TWO tables of people in the whole place (and, judging by our experience, the lack of customers makes sense). The cashier begged us to give the place another chance after this. The thing is, this WAS the "another chance" after the LAST time we had awful service at this location. We went there twice a handful of years ago and the service was absolutely terrible then, too. We figured MAYBE the management had changed in that time and perhaps the service would be better now. NOPE. Three strikes, you're out. We're DONE with this location. It's really sad to see a WH be so awful, because they're USUALLY a place you can rely on to be pretty decent. read more

Was traveling late and was very tired and hungry. The restaurant was clean. I had the chopped sirloin. When it arrived it was a luke warm, frozen hamburger patty. The sirloin ( and I use that word very loosely) was oversalted, and overcooked. It was about the size of a McDonalds patty. The hashbrowns were not cooked crispy and were undercooked in the middle. The toast and the salad was the best part of the meal. My server kept calling me hun, suger , etc....and had all kinds of buttons and a flower in her hat. What is wrong in just saying Miss? As I was leaving ( in my car) I realized I had been overcharged for my meal. I think they should have paid me to eat it. Never ever again will I eat at a waffle house again. read more

if i didn't have to put a star i promise i wouldn't. don't go there . food was cold. the waitress i think her name was meghan was very friendly , but she did say some slick things .. that were rude. the cooker was talking about how we wanted a new waffle as if it was a problem to ask for something better than what we received the first time. if i'm paying for it , it has to be edible right ? their attitudes were bad. for the cooking spot to be an open area where the customers can hear what is being said should make them realize that we do hear them rather they care or not. although it's not a fancy restaurant it still should be customer friendly and appropriate to eat there. i would not recommend this waffle house to anyone. i've been to better! generously i still paid , should've walked out but hey. read more
