I find it quite convenient that the staff decides when they want to allow dine in or not. Walked in and a bunch of employees and what I'm assuming was their sad excuse for a manager were talking and laughing. Was about to take a seat when the staff rudely told us they were only taking take out orders which makes no sense. Waffle House has always been 24/7. I have eaten at this Waffle House many times. Each time it has been really good with quick and fast service. I always order a waffle and each time it has been cooked to perfection. Nice and golden brown, not crunchy or cooked too long. Also, this waffle house seems to be cleaner than some others I have been to. The staff here is also really friendly and will come to check on you every couple of minutes to refill any drinks or ask if you want to order anything extra. I recommended going to this location, I have taken guests from out of state here and they loved it. They even requested to go back. read more

Never again. This place was absolutely horrible. I came here to get a waffle and I sat down at a table near the window. I waited for the server to take my order but no one came at all. The workers just sat around talking to each other and paying attention to other things. I left after 5-10 minutes. You won't be getting my money ever again. read more

Wow... This place is a hot a.. mess! For some reason, someone decided to assign stations to the wait staff in a way that completely produces poor service, bad product and disjointed arrival of items. You get your items in dribbles because of this setup. It was so much chaos I would never go back... I left very unpleased with the food and a headache from the chaos! Absolute WORST Waffle House probably in the country during the late shift (3am-5am is about when we order). It's probably fine the rest of the time, or they definitely would be out of business. The rude heavyset manager lady with the short dark hair purposefully turns off the phones every single time she is there so no one can order. If you go in there while she's there they will tell you there's no dining in and if you ask for a to go order they'll tell you 45 minute wait just to try to get you to leave. If you still order they'll ask you to wait outside. She's most likely spitting in food because she walks to the back with your plate a lot. We can see her from the car. She must hate her life or something. This is also not a new thing. We moved to this area 2 years ago and it has been the same every time we've tried to order. We would have been their #1 customer with big tips during the late hours if they would just let us order. She has ruined the entire staff though. They all get sooooo pissed when you just want to order food. At a restaurant. They all just stand around chatting and pretend to clean stuff. Waffle House - All Waffle Houses are not the same. Depends really what shift you are there with. I went in was greeted by the cook. I sat in the front corner booth beside the window. I speak to the waitress cleaning off my table with no reply. Napkins on the floor that 2 waitresses walked over and did not pick up. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich with hashbrowns. I eat at Waffle House every Thursday on my way to work. Due to a change in my route, I began eating at this location 6 weeks ago. It is tolerable at best. The young man cooking is always attentive and food is prepared well. But the saying is "I come for the food, I come back for the service." If there were another WF along my route, I would eat there. It is not the cleanest and the wait staff is not invested, The same for every visit so far and the smell of cigarette after the waitress burned one outside the front door was overpowering today. read more

Waffle house is one of my favorite places to get breakfast and I've been to many across the country. The staff working this morning is definitely the most efficient team I have encountered. The communication is excellent, which resulted in great service and food delivery. The food was perfectly cooked, as opposed to where I'm usually expecting something to be over/under cooked. The waitresses are extremely friendly and on-point with refills and asking if you need anything else. The facility is clean (which is rare of the franchise) and the kitchen also maintained a neatness that is unheard of for a Waffle house. I highly recommend this place!!!!!! read more

I always come to this location because of its covenience in location in Grovetown. I must admit, I am from California and my expectations were high for waffles. However, they were way exceeded. Their waffles are the BEST! This particular location is always clean and has amazing staff. I went the morning after thanksgiving with my family who was visiting town and they were packed inside; I ordered food for like 6 people and they made it so fast! My family loved it. Personally, I recommend the hash brown bowl with eggs, cheese, and bacon. Their waffles are also perfect and don't even need syrup to be sweet. I tend to call ahead of time and just pick up, saves you waiting time. I have noticed that these last couple of times I have ordered past 8pm, the machine says they can't take orders at the time. Im not sure if its just because of the later time frame (most likely) or if they aren't currently taking orders at all. Regardless, I highly recommend! Where do I even begin from???? Okay so me and a group of my friends visited this restaurant and let me say, it was the worst service I have ever gotten. One of the women employees had such this sour,nasty attitude to us, she yelled, at us in this very mean tone to keep it down. We weren't even that loud, even the jukebox music was louder than us. So we very kindly and politely asked for straws and she said, "give me a minute" in this very rude tone, and she almost hit my friend with silverware, which could've hurt her. The same female employ then proceeded to throw the straws on our table like if we were less than them. The food was very good but the service was not, and we were very polite even though they weren't, and we continually said thank you to the employ and she would just ignore us. Me and my friends went to Waffle house the other day for my birthday. While we were there this lady who worked their dropped sliverwear. One of my friends moved out of the way the the worker proceeds to say "good thing you moved it would have hit you". Then we were all laughing at something and this lady yells and i mean yells COULD YOU PLEASE QUIET DOWN. We were loud but not that loud. lastly the lady brought 3 drink and i didn't know she was pouring more so i simply asked for some straws this lady then proceeded to say just give me a minute ok, as if i was being rude i asked for staws mind you. I just had a wonderful breakfast at this immaculate restaurant the food was fast, fresh and good, I'm a vegetarian but was able to enjoy hash browns with onions,bell peppers and tomatoes and scrambled eggs and coffee, sooo goood.
