I'm never one to write bad reviews but the past 2 times I've come here it's taken over 30 minutes to even get acknowledged. When we were sitting and waiting, the server (I think she's new, red head with her hair all over the front of her face) was on her phone. After a good while, she came and took our order and brought the wrong drinks. When I told her we didn't ask for 2 cokes she took one back and didn't even let me finish to ask her for a coffee. That is very unprofessional and plain rude. When she brought our food out, she basically threw it on the table and walked away. I had to ask another server for creamer because she also didn't bring it. As I was going to pay, she was again, on her phone as we waited for them to take the ticket. Our waitress was great but the cook was rude and belittled the waitress talking to her like a five year old that didn't deserve it and she didn't need to talk at all, just concentrate on cooking with her mouth shut. i showed up and placed order to go, the employees there are doing the utmost best during these times of lock down during the panademic. they made sure that the flow of service, from customers dinning in to call in orders, and walk in to go order, kept moving at a constant pace. they were also particular that all the food served was fresh and correct to everyone's order, one of the waitresses saw that the gravy was watery, not her fault, and mentioned to the customer, that the gravy was not how it is suppose to be, and if he was ok without the gravy or wanted to wait some time for them to make more, the same waitress also saw that the cook accidentally made scrambled eggs for my order, and mentioned to the cook to place make the correct eggs for my order. not the cooks fault, he was doing an awesome jobs, being the only cook there, and keeping up with all the orders, i understand how hectic it can get when your cooking 10 different plus orders all at the same time. keep up the good work waffle house, see yall next time i stop by. read more

Waffle House used to be the best in waffles but it seems to have changed. My server Ty was great but I've been noticing I cross my fingers a lot in hopes of the chain getting it right. Unfortunately the grits weren't creamy as usual (sad to say) and the steak is a no go from now on. The steaks are just sad and flat with no tenderness at all. However the service was pretty good. My wife and her friend were just asked to leave by a staff member. He approached them while sitting at their booth and explained that the waitresses earn their wage via "tips" and they needed to make the table available for other patrons. When this happened, there was no one waiting to be seated, and there were available tables as well. The staff-member further explained they were expected to be in and out within an hours' time. Other people in the restaurant heard what happened and suggested they order a drink, before you get the impression they didn't order anything - they had already had their breakfast, and did order an additional drink; nonetheless, they were asked to leave and unfortunately, they did just that without getting names of the server or the gentleman who asked them to leave. All I was informed was that the person who asked them to leave had a heavy english accent. This is the WORST Waffle House I have ever seen. The service is soooo slow. The whole staff moves very slowly. It took the waiter, Emma, to call out an order over 12 minutes. Service was slow, waitress rarely showed up, food was ok though they messed up our order. I understand it gets busy but it doesn't justify the bad service. Employees mainly hung out in the back. The new trainee was going around helping every table more than the first servers themselves which I appreciated. So, its 2:13am right now, and we've just had quite the service and food at this particular Waffle House location. I'd been craving WH for some time and just hadn't had the time to stop by. I'm glad we did when we did! We were happily greeted when we walked in and tended to pretty quickly. Amanda, our server, was friendly, talkative, and helpful. Upon ordering our food, I made it a point to observe the cook, Connor, i believe was his name, and how he handled our food. He threw away the dirty gloves he had on after touching the raw pork chops and replaced them with new ones when he was to. A+!! He wore gloves the entire time he was cooking and handling food. He was also very attentive to our specifications on or order and was polite. Needless to say, everything for us on this night was excellent! Customer service, cleanliness and food was on point. I've eaten at plenty of Waffle Houses between Houston and Louisiana and I always recommend them over the larger chains when family and friends need that breakfast fix. This location is definitely not what has made me come to love Waffle House. This was actually my second time eating at this location. The first time was late at night so I forgave them for their poor service. What I remember most from eating at Waffle House as a child was the warm welcome that everyone gave when you walked in. These employees were not only unwelcoming, they never followed up after we received our food. As far as food goes, the hash brown and omelette were pretty tasty. The eggs were actually very light and fluffy and almost perfectly cooked. My waffle on the other hand was too dense. What really put me over the edge was the small piece of egg shell that I found in the last bite of my omelette. If you know anything about egg shells, you know that no matter how small, it seems like a never ending mission trying to eat through that. I ended up having to rinse my mouth with orange juice to make it all go down. At least you know they use shelled eggs. read more

We've eaten here a few times since they opened last year. The service was always friendly but lately some of the staff seem like they don't want to work there. This morning we watched several employees walk past silverware and a packet of mayo that had fallen on the floor both behind and in front of the counter. Aside from being a safety hazard it was obvious no one wanted to make the extra effort other than their own job to pick them up. This was during the time two employees swept and cleared tables in that same area. Their management needs to better train and improve morale as it was when they first opened the restaurant. The food: I think most people that eat at WH know what to expect for the price. I'm not saying the food is bad but sometimes we like to go just for the lively atmosphere, people watch and a decent meal. Take all that into account, you're not getting gourmet food at their fast food prices but it's good. If you're picky, go elsewhere - If you like the "down home" vibe, this is the place!!
