This place is slow as they come. Bartenders disappear for long periods of time and cats are broken into in the parking lot. The food is ok once you finally get it. I had been craving Longhorn for a couple of weeks and we finally made it. We had no real waiter and the steak was over cooked. I went to the bar to locate our server an request another that was medium. One of the MODs yelled and then came to see to what the problem was, I explained the steak was overcooked. Another casually dressed male came to the table and grabbed the steak and finally brought out another then ask us to see if it's to our liking and it was still overcooked. Wait time and communication has been horrible 2 times in a row waiting over an hour and half to even be seated.

First of all, it's not even busy on this Sunday evening and when we walked in there are 3 employees standing in the check in area and not a single one of them acknowledged us until the 4th girl came up and sat us down. That girl apologized to us after I mentioned this to her. As of late, this restaurant is going downhill. The restaurant smells dirty, the black cloth napkins smell nasty and the condiments on the table are nasty to touch. We kept chasing away gnats all throughout our meal. The sweet tea was not even sweet tea but a watered down version. We told the waitress and she said " I didn't make it" and laughed it off. The service was quick once we ordered but it is very disappointing that the food is not even as good as it used to be. The quality is much less than before. I truly miss old management who used to make sure the customer was happy but that's been years now. Employees should understand that the customer is what keeps them working and they should at least be taught to acknowledge people coming in and leaving because as we left, nobody standing at the checkout in podium spoke. The service here is deplorable. It took 5 minutes for someone to seat us despite there being no one else waiting and one someone finally came they didn't even greet us. They simply confirmed the number of people dining, grabbed the menu and began walking. We were seated at a booth that hadn't been cleaned, the hostess noticed and is I was sitting she grabbed a random cloth and raked some of the crumbs off the table where some of it fell on me. We asked if we could be moved to a cleaner table and she said the people who closed likely didnt thoroughly clean the booth before closing but she said she could clean it if we'd like. After we were seated it took another ten minutes for someone to come and take our order. The server came and said "sorry about that, nobody told us you were my table". By that point we knew exactly what we wanted to order and ordered our entree and drinks at once. The food was subpar and the meat was tough for the sirloin and chicken fried steak. I couldn't imagine if I'd ordered my steak well done instead of medium. Id still be chewing hours later. My partner also said the restrooms were gross. The server was good but had too many tables. Took my son for is birthday and he ordered pork chops and got 99cent pork loin cut to 1/5 inch thick and grilled. Too tough to eat, and he quit trying to swallow it whole and I gave him my chicken fried chicken that was injected with some kind of brine and chemical water. The salad was bitter and all ribs of some purple sort of greens. The strawberry shortcake I ordered for him looked good but the strawberries were not ripe. This is my first time doing takeout or To Go from Longhorn Steak House. I had a taste for salmon, but I was on lunch, so I only had an hour. After a little thought I said, why not use this opportunity to review their to go service. I placed my order online, and it told me, my order would be ready 25 mins after placing my order. That's already a plus, some other places have been 45 mins or more. After a few minutes I received a text stating to please check in using a link after parking in a "To Go" spot. I clicked the link, clicked the vehicle type and color, and spot number one was entered. After waiting approximately 3 to 5 minutes my food arrives at my car. The young man addressed me by my name and he was very polite. He told me to have a good day and I was off. The whole process was quick, simple, and hassle free. Five-Stars for takeout service and process. Once I arrived at my destination, I opened my box and was happy to see my salmon was separated from my cold salad. That's a plus. Both the salad and the salmon, not only looked good, it tasted good. Typically, I'm nervous about ordering salmon because I'm afraid it may be overcooked, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this one was perfectly cooked and very moist. I must admit, when I first opened the container, the first thing that got me was the aroma of the seasonings, smelling like that, it had to be good. Ordered lunch from here online and wasn't very impressed with the service. The hostess tried to hand me the containers of soup and salad instead of putting them in a bag for me. (I had to request a bag). Then I had to request the bread and butter which normally comes with the meal no questions asked. The kicker is that when I brought my food back to my office I noticed a LIVE lady bug in my salad. Needless to say my appetite was ruined. I called the restaurant and they were apologetic and offered to remake the food or give me a gift card to cover the cost of a meal. I chose the gift card because I already had eaten the majority of my food when I found the bug (and I'm 31 weeks pregnant and didn't want to have to leave work to drive back there). Would I go back? Then I got my main meal and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were boxed, I couldn't chew the okra, and the food wasn't even hot. I looked over at my moms plate and there was a hair WRAPPED around the okra. The second hair I see this meal. Then they were supposed to bring a replacement okra and they never did. This Longhorn Steakhouse location has it all - great food, great service, great selections,and great service. My sister and I visited several weeks ago. The crispy okra was delicious and was cut the long way having two rather than 3-4 pieces. So unusual and priceless. When I visited the restaurant yesterday, I had the okra, a 12 oz strip, and the strawberry shortcake. The strip was enough for three servings and stayed moist throughout being microwaved twice.
