Good food good service. Everything tasted as expected. The server was really nice and kept checking back on us which we greatly appreciated.

So good. Everything tasted so fresh and you could literally see them making it as we are waiting. Love the food and wish they had one near me! Great prices as well!!

Yummy! I ordered the plate that came with waffles, toast, eggs, ham, and hash browns. I LOVED it! I'm from San Antonio and I've always wanted to go to Waffle House. The closest thing is Dennys or iHOP which is overpriced, has poor quality food, and not filling. Here at this place you get your moneys with for sure. I left full and happy. My boyfriend ordered the grits and he loved them. The waffles were not too crispy but not to soft they were perfect and the waitress was very nice. I had a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

So this place looked pretty sketchy when we pulled up and when we walked in I seriously wanted to walk right out BUT I am glad we stayed! I had a pecan waffle with eggs and hash browns! The hash browns were amazing!!! And the waffle was good too! Actually everything we had was yummy. And the prices were more than fair! Don't let the decor and building throw you off the food and service were great! would definitely come again!

The complaints that I have about this restaurant is that they did not tell you that they did not have certain items for your order. For example, I ordered something that had a doughnut on top but they gave me a croissant I would not have ordered it if they didn't have the full components. The food itself, though was very good very fresh. Another downside was that I was being eating alive by some kind of bug. I don't know if it was a net or mosquito but it tore me up pretty good. I couldn't really enjoy myself because of being bitten. Would I come back? Yes! would I recommend this to someone else also yes!

A big thank you to the gentleman for going above and beyond in customer service. He welcomed us warmly, and the rest of the team mirrored his kindness. They were exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and genuinely attentive to their customers' needs. I ordered an omelet packed with ham, sausage, and bacon. It was delicious, although a few pieces of meat were a bit tough to chew. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and delightful, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. One of my friend's niece ordered the strawberry French toast, which she absolutely loved. It not only looked aesthetically pleasing but also tasted amazing. My other friend's niece was pleased with her meal, but my friend mentioned her dish could have used more seasoning. I suggested that it might be because they cater to a clientele that prefers less seasoning than other places. After adding some salt, she said it tasted much better. Their prices are quite reasonable compared to other diners. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. Their customer service is exceptional, and the food is quite good.

He gave us the full rundown of the menu, and what really impressed me was that there wasn't anything on the menu he hadn't personally tried. That made his recommendations feel genuine because he could actually speak to the flavors, portions, and what he thought we would enjoy. And based on his recommendations, I'd say his palate was ON POINT! I ordered the truffle fries and blackened fish tacos, and both were delicious! I also had a cocktail with gin and lavender bitters (or something lavender-ish ), and it was really good and refreshing. My husband ordered the fish of the day, which was some type of red fish served with a caper sauce and mashed potatoes. He said it was REALLY good--and judging by the empty plate, I believe him! There were several other things on the menu that caught my eye, so I already know I need to come back and try them. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere with friends. Recently, I had lunch here, and they now have a new farm to table menu that really exceeded my expectations. The Ranch has reinvented itself many times, and now it's a restaurant I would visit for the food AND atmosphere. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - At its core, it's a bar with several indoor and outdoor dining areas with a country theme. The Ranch is so versatile that you can host a private event while people dine in the main area while others hang out at the bar. There's also a charming outdoor area that is nice if the weather is cool. Best of all - it's full of people and energy. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. We explained the concept, went over the menu, and while a large table occupied his time, several of the staff were helpful. Everyone was dressed in Cowboy/Ranch gear. Texas Southern Hospitality is real. 1 Star. Food - My most recent visit was like visiting a new restaurant. The Ranch's menu has changed, and everything was new. I started with the pork belly appetizers, which was a great start to meal. The tender pork meat had a layer of sweet + salty belly that melts in your mouth. I went with the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. The barbacoa (shredded BBQ beef) was the star and was better than any brisket grilled cheese I've had. The sourdough was grilled with lots of butter, so after devouring the sandwich I had to wash my hands. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Absolutely. I had been to The Ranch so many times I considered a place to gather for Happy Hour. Not anymore. The new menu is incredible, and I can't wait to return. 1 Star.

SAS Verdict: Not Approved. The Vaquero Shrimp alone can't carry the whole meal.
