I've been to so many waffles houses and this one by far is the cleanest and most organized one I've been too. They are all super nice and our waitress Jersey was super attentive and friendly!

Flight to Canada was canceled due to covid, so I went to breaky instead. Had the usual eggs meats hashbrowns. Coffee is always good n hot. Fast and easy.

I've been to many Waffle Houses over the years. I love the place. Of all the ones I've visited, this location is the best. It has so much character. One, it's old. A new Waffle House lacks so much of the character and feel that an old one does. This one has been there forever. Two, it's right off I-71, so there are lots of truckers and travelers coming and going. Three, they've got great servers. Lots of older gals that call everybody "honey." And four, the food is always perfect. God bless you Jeffersonville Waffle House! Lord willing, I'll be back again and again.

Never ever did I think I would give Waffle House 4 stars! Actually for the last year my husband and I said there was no way we would ever go eat there! For anyone else Waffle House is a childhood staple, for me the great unknown. I don't eat breakfast, all the locations look run down, grimey, old and stank I just didn't get it and poked at my sister in law who eats there all the time, joking there was no way I'd ever step foot inside of one. Low and behold, sunday morning it was time. I was back at the Tanger Outlet ready for a day of shopping and food options there are horrible, so the man and I pulled ourselves together and gave it a try. The dollar menu is fabulous so we stuck with that for the most part and went with the egg and cheese biscuit, burger, double durger, triple hashbrowns and my totally unnessessary need for a salad. Everything was great, regular burger tiny, hashbrowns skimpy on the toppings, also not a fan of artificial cheese but nonetheless and cheap lunch, $15 for 3 people, friendly service I can see myself coming back hungover and getting a double burger and hashbrowns, not bad at all. Live and learn, the burgers have the same simple comport as the good ol McDonalds cheeseburger that everyone longs for every once in awhile even a usual veggie lover like me. Thank you Waffle house for proving me wrong!

My family and I recently discovered Ralph's American Grill, about halfway along the 100-mile drive between the two cities. They are a self-proclaimed tribute to the trucking industry and feature decor reflecting the area's rich history in transportation, including the nearby R+L Carriers. For my meal, I opted for the Nashville sandwich, with a spicy fried chicken breast, coleslaw, pickle, and mayo on a toasted bun ($13.95 with choice of side). The coleslaw was particularly good I thought, and the chicken was well seasoned and not overly spicy. My wife had the paramount pulled pork sandwich topped with BBQ sauce, coleslaw, cheddar cheese, and fried onions on Texas toast ($13.95 with choice of side). This was also a pretty good sandwich, though quite messy. My kids sampled the Mack (truck) & cheese ($4.99) and the Bavarian-style pretzels with beer cheese, honey mustard, and everything cream cheese dip ($9.95). They also have a nice beer list featuring beers from Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus.

No 18 wheeler hanging over the bar, but themed menu and decor. There is one in the "garage door" part of the place. As you can see, there is room for more tables but it wasn't busy at all on a Friday night. Lots of staff, but still not good service since my server messed up my simple order and it took time to get it. Asparagus was so salty you could see chunks of salt in the very thin stems. Even grilled the hot dog was average at best. I am glad I don't have a reason to try this again. It replaced a regional chain that went out of business, but is a very big step down from it.

Sterling, OH Mon-Sat | 7am-11am (937) 269-1911 Inside the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree FIRST IMPRESSIONS: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 If Cracker Barrel and a banjo had a baby, it'd be The Farmers' Table. You walk in through the main entrance of the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree building (yes, that's a real thing ), and boom--you're in a dining room that doubles as a music hall. Tables, and the unmistakable scent of sizzling bacon. Bonus points for the "Text Your Order" feature --I sent a message, got a cheerful reply, a photo of my ticket, and an ETA. Ms. Celina greeted me with a smile, my food was boxed and bagged, and the whole place was cleaner than a bald head after a fresh polish. Would they let me sing on stage while waiting for my omelet? Probably not. But a guy can dream. THE FOOD: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 I opted for the 3-egg omelet, which included ham, mushrooms, cheese, and wheat toast. Solid. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and the fillings were generous. However, it needed a little salt and pepper to bring it to life. #NoSeasoning #OmeletNeedsAMicDrop ‍ SERVICE & STAFF: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 Ms. Celina runs the show like a breakfast ninja. Friendly, fast, and full of charm. I suspect she could whip up pancakes and solve a crossword at the same time. VALUE & PRICING: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 $12 for an omelet? That's a bit rich for my bald wallet. I could make the same thing at home for half the price... but then I'd have to do dishes. CLEANLINESS: 5‍‍‍‍‍ - 5 of 5 Spotless. Like a freshly waxed dome. PARKING: 4‍‍‍‍ - 4 of 5 Street parking is available. There might be a lot out back, but I didn't go exploring. I was on a mission for eggs, not asphalt. ‍ HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: 2‍‍ - 2 of 5 Small step at the entrance. Not ideal. Use caution when entering or exiting--especially if you've had a few too many cups of coffee. ‍ SOCIAL MEDIA: 3‍‍‍ - 3 of 5 - Strong Facebook Presence. Makes frequent posts, and the page has all the required contact information. Stop by the Farmers Table page and hit "Like". Why you're at it, take a look at the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree page as well. You may be a Bluegrass Fan and just didn't know it. COMMUNITY VIBES: When Ben & Joy's closed, Mt. Sterling's breakfast brain trust lost its HQ. The Farmers' Table has stepped up as the new morning meeting spot for farmers, business owners, and individuals working to solve the world's problems over coffee. ‍ It was good to see some familiar faces. OVERALL BALD HEAD RATING: 4‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 ‍ A charming breakfast spot with heart, hustle, and hash browns. Worth a visit if you're in town, at Deer Creek, or just craving a side of community with your eggs. SUPPORT LOCAL! Tag your breakfast crew, share your favorite dish, and let's keep The Farmers' Table cookin'! And finally, why did the Farmer's Table move into the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree Building????
