We stopped in on a Sunday right around the church crowd rush, and the place was packed. Lots of people were lined up for the buffet, but even with a party of seven, we were seated fairly quickly. Our server was the sweetest southern lady, complete with a warm smile and southern drawl. She made sure everyone in our group was taken care of and couldn't have been kinder. I had breakfast, and while it was definitely a little more "southern-style" than what I'm used to, it was good and filling. Prices were very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better. A couple of notes: they only accept cash (no cards), and the parking lot is on the smaller side. Inside, it's simple--tables, chairs, a working kitchen, and the kind of atmosphere where you're bound to run into someone you know. Overall, it's exactly what you'd expect from a small-town family restaurant--local food, local people, and a welcoming southern vibe.
