It was the Cheesesteak & Cheese Eggs Breakfast platter.

Oh my goodness. I never eat all my food. But today Blake cooked my breakfast to perfection. The whole team worked together to ensure that we had an enjoyable meal. The atmosphere was like a big family.

Great quick breakfast. Traditional Waffle House layout. Clean. Waitress was very friendly and quick service. Breakfast was great. Definitely a fast moving diner with good food.

I'm a fan! I've been wanting to come here for so long but I'm from Ct so these aren't up North. Anywho, the customer service was awesome! I work in the food industry and the communication these workers had from the waiters to the cooks was something a lot of us restaurants can learn from. Walk in and it feels like and old school diner. I like how you can see the grill and how the cooks work. Our food came out very good and for a family of 4, $50 wasn't bad at all. Very happy for a first timer and when I'm back down here I'll def pull up.

Food is what I expect for Waffle House and the serving is standard waffle service but I didn't expect to sit in. I had to sit in and eat due to a 20% fee on all Togo orders. Well I guess every drive thru and pizza callins should get 20%. Maybe self checkouts at the grocery store should charge fees. I understand the employees have no voice in the matter and I don't blame them but this corporate decision to add a fee on Togo orders seems like robbery. The 2 rating is for the Togo fee and for wasting my time sitting in.

The vibe & people were wonderful. The two men in house were so kind. We already love Waffle House for the nostalgia & we regularly eat at the one back home. This one topped our usual food & service wise (just don't tell them). One of the workers even brought out my to go box that I forgot on the table. This will be a regular stop for any time we come to Myrtle beach in the future

Driving down the road, hungry. One of our group had a food sensitivity & allergies and we needed something we could eat without worrying what was in it. Waffle House to the rescue and the WIN! Here our food-sensitive friend could get scrambled 3-egg without trying to guess what else was in it-he could watch it being prepared. Thank you WH!

I have never been in a Waffle House (except this one) where we were seated right away and there were still open seats. Our server placed down two menus, greeted us and took our drink orders. We split a 2 egg breakfast with sausage and added on a waffle. I was shocked at how quickly the food landed on our table. No joke, it was magic trick fast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The sausage is very mediocre. Bacon may be a better option. The waffle arrived last, it was very tasty. I love me some covered & smothered hash browns. That's straight up comfort food. Service was very friendly from start to finish.

The staff here is upbeat and positive! Our waitress, Joy was very likely the best waitress we've ever had. This crew works together and runs like a well oiled machine.

Typically I'm not reviewing chains, but this one was actually fun. The kids requested Waffle House, so off to breakfast we went. It was your typical Waffle House breakfast...good going down, stays with you for days. However, the staff here was fun and it was a bit like breakfast theatre. They were chipper and funny. We enjoyed it quite a lot. A nice way to start the day!

Two eggs - hash browns -bacon- toast!

Great service- great food-at a great value. We stopped in expecting to wait as we figured they were short staffed- like every other retail establishment these days. They may have been, yet it did not show. The food came quick, it tasted great, and the staff made sure they were readily available meet all out needs. My only regret was we ate so fast- I was not able to hear the selections I put into the juke box. To those who ate after us- here is hoping you enjoyed your free Godsmack.

This Thursday I was heading up with the wife to buy some fish and we decided to go for it. Of course there was zero parking with a parade of cars in the parking lot waiting to pick up food, when my wife noticed a pick up truck right in front of the place about to exit. She sped right next to the spot and jumped in before anyone realized it. We're in...or so I thought. We strolled up and there were about 35 people sitting on benches and rocking chairs under a tent right in front of the place all waiting to get in. I figured this is not going to be easy. I went up to the hostess station and asked how long for a table for two and she said 35 minutes or so. I looked at my wife and gave her my name. I had to find out what all the hub bub was about. In about 30 minutes they shouted my name and I sprinted to the front door...I wasn't about to lose my table. In we went and we're shown a nice size table in the middle of the place. It kinda reminded me of a beachy mom and pop diner. The friendly waitress came to the table right away, gave us our menus, showed us the specials board and took a drink order. The menu was simple but had some choices on it. While we were thinking, she came back with our drinks and we quickly ordered an appetizer. In this case, onion rings. A few minutes later my wife settled on a crab cake app and a salad which she asked to be combined. I went for the soup of the day(NE clam chowder) and one of the specials...pork chops(I took my grilled not fried) with 3 sides, Lima beans, okra & tomatoes stewed and green beans. The meal came with a choice of cornbread or roll. I opted for the cornbread. In a flash, the onion rings came out followed by the soup. Now I do love me some onion rings and these were fantastic. Crispy, flavorful and not stringy. The soup was home made. Creamy with bits of clam and chunks of potato. No salt or pepper was needed as it came out steaming hot and perfect. It was a meal in itself and I ended up taking 3/4 home with me(something rarely do). After a few minutes, the main course came out. My wife dug into a very large homemade crab cake, chock full of crab meat and very flavorful. She loved it. The salad was fresh and crisp. My pork chops came out and the size of the plate shocked me. Now, I almost never talk about price but my plate was $12.49 and I got two large perfectly prepared, juicy pork chops with a healthy helping of the best okra and stewed tomatoes I ever had plus absolutely delicious green beans and tasty lima beans. What a deal! The only thing that wasn't above average was the corn bread which was a tad dry and plain. Most of the regulars opted for the home made roll(and the fried chicken which was being served at every table!). I was stuffed and had trouble finishing my plate. My wife who said she was full, managed to save enough room for dessert. Now everyone was eating the homemade peach cobbler so I suggested that. My wife never had it before and was thinking about the Oreo pie, but I persuaded her and she was glad I did. Instead of the usual whip cream she wanted vanilla ice cream with it and it was a fantastic combo. The cobbler came out piping hot and crumbly with sweet chunks of peaches that paired well with the cold vanilla ice cream. She attacked it so fast that I couldn't get a picture. I broke my own rules and dipped in for a few spoonfuls and I'm glad I did. It was heavenly. The bill came and I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. Now I know why you can't get into the joint. We paid our bill and gave the super friendly waitress a nice tip and were on our way. We will absolutely be back and will try to time it a bit better so we can find parking...or we'll take an Uber...it was that good.

House made chips were crunchy and delicious. My crab cake was wonderful - as close to a Maryland crab cake as I've had in a long time. Lump crab, very little bread crumbs, pan fried and served with a dollop of hollandaise. It needed some Old Bay seasoning. The Rockefeller Oysters were delicious. Plump oysters topped with spinach and Hollandaise. They need a splash of Pernod and would be 5 star. We split a piece of house made peanut butter pie for dessert. It wasn't good. Way too sweet and very soupy. Tasted like a cool whip recipe. Our tab was reasonable and we left our server a generous tip. We recommended the restaurant to numerous people we knew back at the hotel. It seemed very "busy" for an early Monday evening around 5:20/6pm. It had quite a few customers but also many empty tables inside. We wanted to sit inside but were told they were holding tables for reservations. So our only option was to sit outside or to wait over 20 minutes. We were very hungry so we sat outside. Our waitress came out and greeted us and was very nice and answered all our questions. We had a table on the far right of the patio. Outside was hot and there were little small gnats flying around. We ordered the mussels in a wine sauce for appetizers. And OMG when the food came out the gnats swarmed in on us and it was worse! We could not enjoy the food because we were in a constant battle. We complained to the waitress. And we wound up moving to another table closer to the door (still outside in the opposite side because we still were told there were no tables inside). It was a better but gnats were still there. The food, however, was really good and would have been even better without fighting bugs. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the sauce it was in was delicious! We were almost licking the plate, but so I wouldn't look like a heathen, used the bread to wipe up the plate instead. The roasted red pepper crab bisque was also very good and I like that it had bigger lumps of crab in it. For my main course I had the fresh catch of the day that came with a lemon sauce, mango salsa and risotto. I am not a fan of asparagus so I was allowed to substitute for spinach. The dish was so delicious! I was happy with the taste and quality of the food. A manager just so happened to round on us while we were eating and we told her our complaints about the gnats. She was very understanding and offered us a free dessert or to take some money off the bill. When the waitress came back she asked us what dessert we wanted complimentary. We wondered why the manager gave us both options, but we didn't actually get to choose what we really wanted which was the money off the bill. We were really full and didn't have room for the dessert. Rather than protesting, we just chose a dessert to go, but unfortunately forgot to eat it because we had to pack for our early morning flight. My review would have been 5 stars for the service and food if it wasn't for those pesky bugs outside. I don't know why there was so many out there.
