My husband, friend and I had a great brunch here last week. We were up late the night before so Bob Evans definitely did the trick the following day. I started with a cup of chicken noodle soup. I really enjoyed it and plan to order it again at the Bob Evans near me hoping they have the same style soup. My husband and I each had the whole hog breakfast which came with a couple eggs (you choose the style), a ton of breakfast meat, potatoes, a pancake and a slice of French toast. Everything on the plate was delicious. The price was relatively cheap considering all of the food you receive. I forgot her name but the lady who took care of us provided excellent service! She was very attentive as she kept our drinks filled and our order was accurate. She was patient as it took a few minutes for us all to decide what we wanted off the menu. When it was time to pay at the register it took over five minutes of waiting for someone to take our payment because they were supposedly completing another take out order. Although we were impatient at the time, I will not let that overshadow the great meal and service we had while dining in! read more

Eggs were over done, potatoes had zero seasoning on them. Not a good breakfast, but tolerable. Lunch, ordered mashed potatoes with beef gravy, Mac and cheese, honey butter chicken, and chocolate cake... Mac cheese was good and creamy. Potatoes were good, definitely taste that they had actual potatoes for theirs. Gravy was flavorful. The chocolate cake came with ice cream and it was delicious. The honey butter chicken was a let down. It was 2 small pieces of chicken, and they served a sealed container of honey with it. Straight honey on chicken is not how honey butter chicken is made... I usually do not go to breakfast alone but I was returning from an appointment and decided to stop for my favorite Sunshine Skillet and a side of sausage gravy. I was seated immediately and watched three couples be seated after me. I sat for 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged me and watched the other tables receive their drinks and eventually food before I even received my coffee! My order was eventually taken and I sat watching the others finish their meals and leave. I received my order, waited on a coffee refill and noticed my breakfast had no sausage in it which is one of the standard ingredients. I couldn't get anyone's attention, so I ate it before it was cold. I finished, went to the front to pay, was asked how everything was, and before I could get beyond the part of waiting to get service, was told they were very busy, had only one cook and two servers working...and she walked away before I could ask for a manager. This location has restored my faith in the Bob Evans chain. We visited this location while vacationing and we were impressed by our food and the friendliness of the waitstaff and workers. Our waiter, Henry, was incredibly attentive to our needs. He replenished our water glasses and made sure we had whatever we needed and provided a pleasant experience. And then there's the food. It came out hot, and it tasted fresh and delicious. My mashed potatoes and gravy were so hot, and I truly appreciated that because I hate when I receive my food and it's just warm. The waiter was apologetic and said he would put the order in right away and that they had their best cook working so our food would be fast and quick. I joked and said well you're lucky I just came from church and I'm feeling very forgiving! lol so 20 mins later he comes with my boyfriends meal which literally was 1/2 the bowl, portion was literally 1/2 of what we normally get. You could literally put another meal on his plate. I get served my egg, bacon and home fries, also a smaller portion. He said to me your hot cakes and toast will be right with you. So 15 mins later and half my meal eaten, he comes over and I have to remind him of the 2 items that were missing No pancakes or toast. He brought me the toast and offered to put my pancakes in a to go box.m, whiteout any apologies or Recognition that there was an error made! At this point I realize he was taking advantage of our kindness because he exhibited no care for his lack of service and played like he did nothing wrong. He Proceeded to give us a check without any discounts or apologies for his lack of service, small portions Disregard of the food that was never brought at the time that the meal was delivered. So with this being said I probably won't be visiting after church next Sunday. Covid should not be an excuse for your lack of not giving 100% in anything that you do. And these days paying for breakfast is a luxury and my luxury was completely ruined by someone who took advantage of my kindness and didn't care. When on vacation, I'm not usually a fan at eating at chains since you can find them almost everywhere. However, my boyfriend and I were starving and were looking for a place to quickly pick food up to bring home at a low cost. We quickly found this Bob Evans and placed an order online. Within 15 minutes our food was packed and ready to go! We never ate at a Bob Evans before so we were interested in how the quality of the food may be. We wound up getting the the 12 chicken fingers deal with a mash potato side, dinner rolls and Cesar salad. We were actually very impressed with the quality and abundance of food they gave us! The best part was that everything was absolutely delicious! Fresh salad, yummy potatoes, dinner rolls were hot and soft, chicken had a ton of meat and nice and crispy! I also love how they do not skimp on the side sauces and gravy like a lot of places do. By the end of the meal, both of us still had a ton of leftovers. The inside of the establishment was pretty cool too, a decent size and I found it to be pretty nice that kids eat for free Tuesday Nights. read more

I was in the mood for breakfast but most places don't serve breakfast all day Bob Evans is one of those chains that does serve breakfast all day! I've been to other Bob Evans locations in Kentucky West Virginia Florida. Their breakfast food is usually consistent and it's a solid spot to stop when you're on the road. I ordered an omelette everything came out good no complaints. The service was good I have no complaints with the service. If there's one thing that I've learned from eating at different bobevans locations it's that their restaurants are usually really consistent. I prefer going to a bobevans over an IHOP or Perkins. In New York we don't have Bob Evans. So it's kind of becoming a habit to hit up a bobevans whenever I'm traveling. Overall this was a solid location everything was cooked fine. Are all the restaurants along the road but none of them are doing breakfast all day. And a Bob Evans you're going to experience consistency quick food that is not going to be extremely expensive. We stopped in here for a late lunch because we are familiar with the chain and have had good experiences with Bob Evans. We were seated right away and the hostess was very welcoming. The restaurant was clean and even though it was past a rush period (it was about 2:00pm) there were enough staff there that tables were cleared and several employees asked if we needed anything as they walked past our table. My wife and I both ordered breakfast and the server was extremely nice and helped my wife find a selection that offered what she wanted. The food came pretty quickly and our server kept our beverages full throughout our stay. The meals were fresh and hot, and as we were finishing our server offered complimentary biscuits and "to go" drinks. My experience here was so good we talked about it on our way home and decided we would definitely return very soon. read more

I fired up Wikipedia for a quick snapshot of the business history which revealed little more than a pricey sausage procurer that had distribution issues. Back inside I marveled how this Cracker Barrel ripoff log cabin managed to yield no viable screws nor bolts holding it together. Breakfast took up a major portion of the menu which I really find inappropriate during dinner hours, with over 600 locations, cantcha divide it into two eating times? Breakfast and everything else? My Country Fried Steak was awful, the gravy resembled Flex Armstrong's inner liquid in a 1976 Plymouth Fury beige. The two sides of Mac and Cheese and Stuffed Baked Potato had my blood pressure so high my cardiologist felt it. Service stank due to lack of coffee and water refills, and was hyper high school friendly that left my head spinning. A pre-requested drop on info that there was a birthday boy at out table yielded a free cookie, no candle no song. We were all to flabbergasted to even feel a hint of embarrassment. read more

Walked in around 3PM, was not acknowledged by person at the register checking out another customer... waited nearly 5 minutes before someone else approached & asked what I needed...I stated that I was waiting to be seated. I was informed that person at register was also the Hostess. Waiter seated me, brought my water, and when I asked questions about what I wanted to order, he became very condescending, not answering my question, but rather insulting my intelligence & bypassing what I was actually asking. He then proceeded to tell me that I was frustrated since I was apparently bowing to his criticism, when I kept repeating my question, since he seemed intent on ignoring it. At this time I decided that I did NOT need to be treated in such a rude manner, got my purse & walked out. After I got in my car, I thought that it's no wonder that the restaurant was so empty if that is how customers are (NOT) greeted, and then treated by their staff.
