To whom ever this may concern, The food was great as always but the service tonight needed to be worked on. My server Bekah handled the table service well she was sweet but, she was talking with her friend another worker and dropped at least sex f bombs, if you don't know what the f bomb is it the f word. They also committed a health code violation by using the cup to get some ice out of the ice well instead of the scoop. Also, when they noticed us looking at them shocked at what was being said and by what was happening they started whispering to themselves. What would they have done if I was someone sent in from corp to watch the location and service to see how they should be graded and how well they treat their customers. I also didn't appreciate how they were both playing on the phones while customers were in there other than myself. If I was someone from corp they would've gotten a big fat F for the way they were doing things. Something needs to be done because it is ridiculous of how they were being tonight. read more

I've never seen a Waffle House in California, and I wanted my wife to experience this place. We seated ourselves and were immediately attended to by our server, Christine. It was 8:30 AM, and our group of three badly needed coffee Three steaming cups were produced in a flash! Ahhh. My order was a "NEW !" menu item, the name of which I don't recall. Actually, I wouldn't recommend it anyway. It was $7.10, and consisted of a cereal bowl filled with hash browns, cheese, scrambled eggs and bits of sausage. As the TV chefs say, none of the ingredients was elevated. It was just a pile in a bowl. That said, it tasted fine. I had ordered bacon rather than sausage, but it came with sausage, and as compensation, I was given a side of bacon. OK. The sausage was seriously overcooked, or precooked, or something. Tasted like flavored compressed sawdust. The bacon couldn't have been tastier, oddly. I haven't been in a Waffle House since 2009, and the menu has changed drastically. More um, 'creative' dishes have been added, raising the average price point, which of course, is the main idea. Most of the old lower-priced favorites are still on the menu, fortunately, but they aren't featured. It's Waffle House, it's A-OK. read more

We stopped here quickly for some breakfast on our way to Pensacola. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge us, and it seemed like there was a whole group of people talking in the back while we waited. The food was decent, but the coffee was absolutely horrible. read more

Severely understaffed. Went in and there was only one waitress and one cook working. Sat there for 15 minutes without even getting acknowledged, the table by us had been sitting longer than us. We decided to leave. We realize it isn't the workers fault that's totally on the manager for not staffing properly. read more

This is actually our third time here at this location. We came here when we were moving to Texas in 2014. Today when we came, we were seated pretty quickly by Alyssa. We had Sam as our waitress. We ordered and the food came out pretty quickly. It was all good! No complaints although my husband ordered his Texas cheesesteak melt without onions and they put them on there anyway. He still ate it. This is a location we'll stop by in the future if we should need to stop. read more

This is hands down the cleanest and friendliest Waffle House I've ever been to. My mom and I were passing through Mississippi on our way to Destin and stopped in for breakfast. Brent greeted us at the bar and "Mom" took care of us while we ate. Literally the nicest people!! read more

Came here to get a nice breakfast at noon, and as I walk up, I see one server who looks to be the "Birthday Girl", stuffing her face with cake. As I'm walking in, another server was stuffing her face with cake as well. Given, I haven't walked inside Waffle House in a few years so I didn't see the sign to order and pickup at the other end. But, before I noticed, I just stood at the very end of the bar, with a very noticeable color shirt on, and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE greeted me the entire 2minuted I stood there. The older employee just smiles and puts gloves on to say she's gonna get a piece of cake too. Another server cuts another slice for someone else and walks past me twice. I finally move to the other end after I noticed the sign, and the birthday girl who finally says something walks to the register like I was bothering her. I held my composure because at this point, my lid is flipping. This location is not one that I would recommend or ever go back to. Employees are not attentive AT ALL!!!! Someone should definitely give them the 101 on Customer Service because this is NOT IT!!!! read more

This was our first time at this particular Waffle House. I don't expect a lot at a Waffle House...just decent food at a reasonable price. This place failed completely. First off the waitress seemed to be in a hurry and they weren't busy at all, which was odd. She took our drink orders, an orange juice with water and a coffee with cream and Splenda. She must have worked at a fast food place before because she asked me how many creamers I wanted...like McDonalds does in the drive through. I've never had a sit down restaurant ask me how many creams I wanted. Weird. She asked if we were ready to order and I told her no because I hadn't decided. She got the juice and coffee and forgot the water. Seconds later she asked if we were ready to order so I gave in and just ordered the first thing I saw...bacon, scrambled eggs, grits, toast and a waffle. The food was not cooked to my liking at all. The scrambled eggs were basically fried eggs with the yolks broken, flipped over and chopped up. The grits were so thick and barely warm you could literally stand a fork up in them. ON A PLATE. I got everything but my waffle. I was half way through my breakfast before my husband got his breakfast sandwich. Then I finally got my barely done waffle. I got another cup of coffee but no cream of course. The bacon and coffee were good but the rest was nasty. I know it's bad when I don't eat the grits because I could live on grits...one of my favorite foods and mine were gross. This Waffle House is at the top of my don't ever eat there again list. read more

So cool!! My very first trip to Waffle House. Traveling in Mississippi I saw quite a few of these and just knew I had to go. Had to get a waffle. It was really well made. Also got their loaded hashbrowns, I think smothered, covered, and something else.. basically with most all of their toppings. And very inexpensive! By far the worst waffle House experience I have ever witnessed. My order was wrong. 5 DIFFERENT WAYS. I saw a roach crawl across my boyfriends shoulder! Got pecans in my waffle. I didn't want pecans. Got onions in my hashbrowns I didn't WANT ONIONS. DIDN't even get my complete order. Was never given my bacon or sausage or biscuit and gravy so I asked for it to be Togo. THEN. YOU WOULD THINK ITS OVER. NO. I get to the register and she OVERCHARGES ME. AND THEN CHARGES ME AGAIN. I'm grateful I'm not allergic to pecans or onions cause I'd be dead.
