This is the best Waffle House experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated by a friendly happy face. After giving my order, my food came out quickly and was perfectly cooked to how I wanted it. The cook was so attentive she came to my table to make sure I was happy with my order. The entire staff was friendly and happy (rare and refreshing these days). I was shocked to realize that this was the most expensive Waffle House to be built in the United States. At first glance it appears to be a standard Waffle House built on stilts much like the buildings surrounding it. It turns out that this is a building requirement as a result of past hurricane damage to the area. Because of the building being raised higher then ground level, it provided a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico. Outside of the building, this is a standard Waffle House. The establishment was very clean and had wonderful staff behind the counter. I typically order a double hash browns smothered, covered, and capped with country gravy on the side. This Waffle House is located at 618 Beach Boulevard in Biloxi. The building is brick and built to withstand storms and is hurricane prepared. The eatery stands on stilts and the winds are ballistic proof! Came through on a Friday morning for some breakfast and had a couple cups of black coffee. The staff was polite and very nice and displayed top notch customer service while they served me. I decided to go with the Texas bacon patty melt with hash browns "covered" with cheese. I also picked off there dollar menu which I was very impressed by. They have all kinds of items for a very good deal and a fair price. I went ahead and picked the grilled biscuit with sausage gravy. After placing my order I just sat back drank my black coffee and observe the line cook whip up order after order. He did a amazing job and I still dont know how they can do this and be so good at it! Within minutes my food was ready and I was excited. The Texas patty melt was a nice juicy ground beef patty with strips of perfectly fried bacon tucked in between 2 nicely grilled buttery pieces of bread. It came with freshly caramelized onions and pickles. The flavor was on point and everything came together very well. The hash browns were perfectly grilled and seasoned and the layer of melted processed cheese made everything better. The condiment section is pretty impressive with ketchup, salsa, steak sauce, and mustard. After taking a couple of bites I decided to spice it up a little and put some A1 steak sauce on it. After opening the top I felt disgusted with all the caked up residue on the bottle and decided to just ask for mayonnaise to eat with since the sight wasn't very pleasant. The sausage gravy and biscuit made everything better from the grilled biscuit topped with creamy smooth gravy with chunks of sausage. I started to incorporate my hash browns in it and wow it paired great. Overall a nice waffle house with breathtaking views while dining. Nothing is better then looking out through the windows seeing nicely big oak trees while looking at the beach. read more

The restuarant concept is the same as other Waffle Houses but is wider with a waiting area and more kitchen space. Nice oak trees with spanish moss surround the building exterior. Great Waffle House!!one of the best I've entered in some years. It's up on a 2nd floor so you can see the beach while you eat! Very clean, well organized. There's greeters that seat you. Our server Mary was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Our order was accurate and out fresh and hot. This new elevated Waffle House off the beach is probably the nicest WH I have ever been to! The views are seriously stellar, they did a great job with not only the location, but the feel of roominess inside! Party of four came by on a Monday around 7ish and it was empty, had the whole place to our self! The restaurant was clean and we were greeted promptly with a hello and a smile and of course we picked the table with the best window view of the water :) Ordering was pretty painless, we got the bacon patty melt, bacon chicken cheese deluxe, all star breakfast and the 2 egg breakfast. The chef chatted with us a little while cooking, watching him was like watching art hit a canvas... music was going, he was in the zone and he did a great job with the hash browns (I asked for crispy and I got the perfect crisp on them!) The bacon patty melt was ordered as a double and it only came as a single which was a little disappointing because their sandwiches come a little light as it is... but was still good. Eggs were all cooked perfectly over easy and their waffles are fancy and on point with flavor as always!! Overall, so good! Will for sure be coming back and will make the little drive to come here instead of the one in OS! On a side note, no one got a drink refill... that would be my biggest complaint although the chef did do an amazing job with our food! read more

This is more like a nice restaurant. 1) Very Clean 2) Beautiful Building ( it's really nice up in here ) 3) Wait Staff (Mary ) SUPER Attentive and offered all options ( yesterday at the Waffle House in Tallahassee mom wasn't aware she could get cheese in her grits ) 4) A friendly greeting when you walk in. 5) They don't scream out you order to the cook. A normal tone of voice ( well unless packed with patrons chattering away ) 6) ALL the food was cooked exactly as ordered. These cooks today were chef's not line cooks. 7) Over all a breakfast you'd expect at the Beau for 1/3 the price. Now Waffle Houses definitely have a stigma. The cleaner ones are the ones you don't go to because you know the food want be the best. This one changes that. One of the newest as well as expensive on the coast. It's raised higher than most due to it being on the beach. Went in there the other night, it was "clean as a whistle". So, I was already thinking "ehhh I'm leaving". I made a good decision that night. Customer service was top notch and the workers were engaged. The food was well prepared with no complaints. Absolutely DISGUSTING service this morning! We sat down at the only open table in the restaurant and organized the table and asked for a rag, which seemed like no big deal to us but it sure was to her. She caught an attitude and started making an example out of us with another table behind us speaking loud enough for us to hear. She put the napkins on the table, we then asked for the manager and I guess that was the last straw for her because she snatched everything off the table.
