Our bartender Amberly was amazing. Not sure what these bartenders and servers get paid but it's not enough! The knowledge on the food menu and drinks were impressive. Served a raw burger. Our waitress took 20-30 minutes to check on us. Asked for the food to be sent back and taken off the receipt. Never received an apology. Never was asked if they could remake the burger. The live music was terrible, and was so loud our table vibrated due to the volume. Worst dining experience I've ever had. Disappointment at Keg & Barrel tonight. I saw on their facebook page they were celebrating National oyster day with a 4-9 pm $1 oyster deals. Great right... nope. When we arrived for dinner at 7:15 pm a lady was taping a sign to the entrance door saying no more food or oysters. Huh? Yep, apparently at 15 mins past 7 they effectively shut down the restaurant. No more oysters or food. Pretty lousy. Don't hype an event for National oyster day and then run out of oysters at 7pm? And you are an oyster bar? What's interesting is that when I went into the place just to check it out it was half empty. Many open tables all around. It was our first visiting this place, obviously a suboptimal experience.. If I were a regular I'd be much more upset. What's also funny and untrustworthy is I now see that Keg & Barrel have entirely removed their posts on FB promoting the 4-9 pm oyster day deal. This shows this place is not to be trusted. Rather than owning up to the fact that they did not deliver what they advertised and were caught unprepared by the excitement of guests wanting to give them a try and maybe say sorry for having to turn people away they just delete the event like it never happened. This place is odd. There were a gazillion employees, yet the service horrible. Slow AF. Food took forever and then they all were more concerned with cleaning/closing than actually closing out the customers. The staffing management of this place is absolute garbage. I went to $1 oyster night and they were severely understaffed. The staff that was working was VERY stressed. Who has $1 oyster night and hangs their staff out to dry!? It's messed up. Our server, despite the stress, was very nice. She did greet us with "i am not doing ok right now and the oysters will be at least a 1 hour wait." But overall, she worked well under the circumstances and was pleasant. My husband and i didn't mind the wait since we were told upfront. We expected it to be busy but not understaffed! it was hard to watch the staff of this place crumble. The bartender lady was also stressed out since she didn't have much support. It took me 45 minutes to get a glass of bubbles. She also told some older folks at the bar "i literally don't even care at this point!" Probably because of stress! I would go back to this place, but not to save a few bucks on some oysters! We thought it would be a nice time. Despite the MANAGEMENT's lack of staffing. Overall, the food was delicious and the bathrooms were well stocked and clean. And like i mentioned earlier, the staff were doing the best they could. The rating is purely on what ever bozo was trusted to staff $1 oyster night and not the staff that actually busted their butts this particular night. The poor staff that were working were having to handle so much and then they also had to handle angry customers who were waiting 2.5 hours for oysters!!! If you're the owner. You should be so grateful you have wonderful staff that did the hard work and TRIED to keep food flowing and people happy. But you SHOULD NOT be happy with your staffing manager. Get rid of them! They're horrible for setting up their servers/bartenders/bar backs/cooks/bus boys/ etc. for UTTER FAILURE! They're a terrible person! read more

Lots of beer on tap and has a somewhat open kitchen. It also has 2 garage door walls that were open. (The weather was perfect on this occasion). My wife had a half dozen chargrilled oysters that she says were fantastic! I had the French dip with ai jus & fries. It was good. My wife had the shrimp & andouille sausage pasta. It was very tasty. My family ate here tonight for dinner. I'd go through everything everyone ate but it doesn't matter because this is the way they treat their patrons. I ordered some he Thai Chicken lettuce wraps and specifically talked to the waitress about no red pepper flakes. Spicy isn't good food my health. We had the spice makes me sick discussion. She said, no problem, we can hold the red pepper flakes. There's even a button for it. Cool, right? Got my food, full of pepper. She came by and I asked for the chicken with out and she said, oh I'm sorry. Takes my plate and comes back in literally 3 minutes with a new plate. Chicken in a new bowl and no flakes on top. I start eating and down on the middle there are full of red pepper flakes. I then I told the waitress and she acted shocked but then came back and said, the red pepper is in the sauce. So, why did the kitchen dust off the flakes on top rearrange another plate and serve me yet again hoping I wouldn't notice until later when I'm not feeling well. So, I had ate some of the chicken before I realized. The waitress said she'd have the manager take it off my check but probably too late because I'm feeling nausea already. Today we showed up a little before 5 and waited 20 minutes but no one ever came to check on us or take our order. Several servers walked by and ignored us. We came to keg and barrel for a late lunch and we were seated right away. We were greeted by, Hannah, who was very bubbly and sweet! She was very attentive and shot us some great recommendations on the menu. We opted for a Caesar salad to start and the Thai lettuce wraps and the Keg Stand Burger for our entree. The Caesar salad was great and the "croutons" were actually fried eggplant, that was a very unique and awesome way to substitute croutons! Both entrees were fantastic!
