Considering that I typically eat here either when I am either still comepletely wasted or recovering from being completely wasted, it's even easier to eat myself sick. I have never been in a Waffle House we're depending on what section you sit in you may have to wait over 30 minutes automatically to be served. This was per the waitress Michelle. The manager (Derrick) was supposedly in training and she was told to wait on her side a period of time before she could put in her customers orders. Bizarre! People came in and if the seats became available on the other side the customers were served immediately, where as if you had already been in the restaurant your order had to wait to be put in. Wait, it gets worst, my bacon came out first with no waffle. I was told I would have to wait an additional 3 minutes for the waffle. The bacon was cold by the time the waffle came out. I sent the bacon back and just ate the waffle. I heard the manager tell the waitress he knew what he was doing and then threatened to write the waitress up. This was all conducted loudly in front of the customers. Whoever is in charge of this Waffle House on Parker needs to deal with these issues ASAP. I will never come back. Always love going to the Waffle House their food is consistently good and I like being able to see my food being cooked in front of me. This time however the cleanliness of the place was not up to par. I was disappointed coming into a restaurant and sitting down in someone else's yuck. It was extremely annoying to see the two employees sitting down and playing on their phones while I'm sitting next to empty booths and seats that are dirty. If your walking, run back to your car. We have been coming to this location for 19 years, yes that's a long time. All we wanted was waffles! After we got our side orders, the manager came over to tell us she was leaving right now, to go get a few bottles of pam spray. We should of left at that moment but, we were eating our side orders. The bathrooms did not have toilets. There was a motor home parked out front, hooked up for some reason? If we needed to go to the bathroom or the employees, we could at the gas station across the lot. Our server left to the gas station during our meal, probably to vent. Poor servers... they are just as "confused" as we are. Someone's hair net was on the floor and they wouldn't pick it up, when we pointed to it. This was the first time I actually walked out of a restaurant. I went here on a weekday morning around 7am. The place was almost empty (only one other table). There were five workers standing around talking and not one of them greeted us. We were there close to 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. Then we watched as one of the cooks walked outside picking his nose as he walked past our table! We almost got up right then, but a waitress who just walked in for her shift asked if we had been helped so we decided to stay. We ordered orange juice and it came to us HOT! I've grown up eating at Waffle House my whole life in Tennessee and started going to this Waffle House in Parker Colorado a few months ago when we moved to the area until today when the manager (Brandon) asked me to get up from the booth I just sat at and move to the bar in the only seat available right next to the cashier. I told him no that I wouldn't and that I shouldn't have to move but he insisted so I told him that I would leave. There were two people waiting of whom both were by themselves so no couples or groups were waiting for the table. I think it's highly rude for any manager to ask you to move to a single seat at the bar when you are there to give them money to keep their business going. I was paying up to $100 a month to go eat there on the weekends and this was the first time my wife wasn't with me and it was embarrassing for him to have asked me to move like I'm some kid at school getting out of line. I WILL NO LONGER EAT at this Waffle House or most likely any after years of giving tons of revenue to Waffle House. This manager should be demoted to a regular employee because as a manager myself in a much higher revenue line of work I know to always treat your customers with respect when they are there to give you their money.
