My friend ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and onions, hashbrowns with cheese and onions, 2 sausage patties and 2 English muffins with coffee and water. I ordered a Cheesesteak Melt Hashbrown Bowl with 2 scrambled eggs, hashbrowns smothered, covered, diced and peppered with a side of buttery grits, coffee and water. Service was decent. Food was not. My wife had been craving waffles. So of course we went there. It was the saddest looking waffle that either of us had ever seen . Very thin with a few mostly unmelted chocolate chips on top of it. I had a veggie omelette. They no longer have omelette s listed on the menu for some reason. Nor do they have steak or pork chops with eggs listed. We were told that they still have them. Our server was baffled as to why they are no longer listed either. The omelette was very bland. As were my wife's scrambled eggs. Neither one even tasted like eggs. It was strange. The place wasn't exactly the cleanest. Red syrup that they add to drinks was all over one of the walls. Waffle batter and dried pieces of waffle were all over the work station. It was enough that we decided that we will not return. This location was particularly charming. There were three women running the place. Cooking, serving, and cashing you out. They were extremely friendly and hospitable. It was refreshing. My family and I had a great breakfast. The food came out quick and was hot and fresh. Great for a quick bite at breakfast or late night after hitting a bar or two. I've been going to the same Waffle House for over 10 years now. The service is great and the food is fantastic. I went in and ordered my food, the server informed me that the Military, First responders and Law enforcement discount has been taken away and that the only company that gets a discount is Ford employees. Why is Ford employees more important than the Military, Veterans, First responders and Law enforcement??? Very unorganized!! When we enter restaurant several areas roped off and a big line. There was a table with dirty dishes sat there there the whole time we were waiting. Decided after 20 minutes to leave. Waitress there was more worried about the takeout business. Cooks were doing their best. Dishwasher finally came out and cleaned off tables. My boyfriend and I are Waffle House fanatics and this one was by FAR the best one we've ever experienced!! The workers are amazing, very kind and observant; if your drink is getting low, they'll be there to make sure you're being taken care of. The food was made very quickly and tasted immaculate! The hash browns were done perfectly, something we don't see very often, they tend to be burnt or too squishy; not here, they were perfectly toasted. Their eggs and waffles were fluffy, not to mention the perfectly cooked bacon. If you're anywhere near this Waffle House it is 100% worth it! Go!! read more

This place was hopping! We were here on a Sunday morning after a long trip. My son had never been and so you have to experience a Waffle House! So many staff that you didn't have to wait for a thing; and that's the way it should be. Food was prepared exactly as ordered and absolutely delicious. My son said, "favorite restaurant". I think that says it all. We both had the All-Star Breakfast. Eggs were perfect, sausage was great, they don't skimp on the bacon and the waffles were exactly as you expect at the Waffle House. Bad food, bad service. The coffee tasted like plastic. Place was dirty. It's been at least 15 years since I've been in a WH and I should've waited at least one more day. I would have been much more satisfied with a pack of Nabs and a Mountain Dew from the gas station next door. It was 11 pm so the always excellent Cracker Barrel across the street was closed. Disgusting! This was the worst food that I have ever been served, notice that I didn't say eaten. It was not edible. The bacon was like eating a pork rind it was so over cooked. My scrambled egg was an overcooked fried egg with a broken yoke and the toast was cold which made it impossible to spread the tremendous amount of butter they place in the middle. They should be embarrassed to put anything like that in front of someone. But were they?..not at all. When I told the server that I wasn't happy with the food, and I could not eat it, all she said was, aw sorry. No questions, no trying to rectify the situation. So I strongly suggest that if you see this Waffle House, keep driving and choose another restaurant in the area. There are several to choose from. I went to the Waffle House a little less than a week ago and the woman that served me seemed to touch me very unnecessarily. I have a birthmark on my butt that I needed to get looked at and I've had a sore that reoccurs and disappears on my anus. She started looking for the sore and said that she couldn't see one. I explained how it comes and goes and she said that made sense but she seemed hellbent on finding it because she spread me open and looked around for a long time, even inserting her finger up my butt even though I said that its always been on the outside. She then told me how she saw that I had jock itch on the inside of my legs and continued to handle my testicles for what seemed like a very long time. She also did not change gloves after she had her finger inside me and touched my testicles with the same glove. After looking she told me that she wanted a second opinion, and she had another employee come out. She told her what she thought she saw, and she held my testicles and tugged them in different directions to try to get a good look. I didn't have an issue with that, but while she held my testicles her finger grazed against my penis multiple times, more than can be excused as mistakes. Then, she asked the other employee to spread open my cheeks to try to look again for the sore, and she touched my anus even more trying to look for it. She then asked me to flip over without giving me anything to cover myself so my penis was in plain sight of both of them. Then she said that she thought she saw some bumps around the base of my penis and continued to touch it even though I never noticed any bumps before nor could I see any. She then pulled the skin down and looked around under the head. She told me that she saw I had some very small bumps around my penis but that they weren't an issue, even though I never saw what she was referring to. While I was still laying on my back she told me she wanted to check one last time for the sore on my anus and told me to bend my legs, and she reached down and touched me again inside my cheeks and on my hole to no avail, of course. I hated the position she had me in and it made me feel very vulnerable. I didn't like that we made eye contact while she had a finger in me, especially with another employee watching. This whole experience felt very unprofessional and it left me feeling embarrassed and violated. What I'm asking you is can I do anything about it? Are there any rules she has broken? I have a feeling that if the genders were reversed I wouldn't have an issue at all. Every other time I've been to a Waffle House and I've needed to show them something below the belt they let me leave my boxers on up until the area is being looked at and I've been given a sheet to cover up. This was not the case, she had me strip completely naked from the beginning and I laid there exposed while she was just talking to me and asking basic questions. Usually this place is pretty good but walked in tonight and every single table was dirty and only two people were eating. Also the workers personal belongs were on the tables that someone could have sat at; there was water all over the floor where someone could have slipped and fell. This is the worst Waffle House I've ever been to. I think our waitress was new, checked out, and way more interested in talking to her buddies at the next table than anything else. I had to ask her for menus -- because, uh, I don't have the Waffle House menu memorized -- and then couldn't find the omelette on the short one, so the boyfriend actually got up and asked for the full menu. When our food came up, the waitress gave us the wrong plates and had forgotten my biscuit. She was the opposite of everything I've come to expect from Waffle House. Plus, it was freezing inside! I put on a sweater immediately but was still cold. However, someone else (cook, other service, no idea) came by, asked how everything was, took our plates, and had a smile on his face and looked like he actually cared. That's Waffle House! I don't care if you actually care, just act like it. Also, it appears that their coffee has improved. Overall, I was super disappointed in this breakfast stop on a long road trip. I would normally never write a review on a Waffle House but this location is filthy. Every single table is streaked with grease and crumbs. Every window was just covered in prints and goo. I recoiled at touching the crusted door to get in. The floor is disgusting and flies everywhere. There are 6 employees here and only 3 occupied tables. A horrible meal. Bacon burned, eggs were undercooked-even after 2nd try. First waffle was burned by cook and the 2nd waffle was brought to the table almost burned- very dark. First time we have even seen a short order wearing sunglasses which may have explained why things were cooked correctly. Why would a manager keep a cook on that wore sunglasses. Gave them one star as there was not an option to give any less! Also we were the only customers in the Resturant and it took too long to bring out burned and undercooked order to us. $16 meal and not even offered a discount for such poor food. read more
