I met a friend for coffee and breakfast. Martha was bright and smiling, holding the entrance door for us. That was a wonderful start. Martha then seated us as a Hostess, then she was our most friendly and informative server. I have to say Martha is the prettiest server I ever had. Her spirit is so sweet also. I wish she would be our server EVERY time. I had coffee and Morning Meditation for breakfast. The Morning Meditation is so tasty and healthy. It is the second special beverage I tried and neither disappointed. My friend got eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancake for breakfast. He also liked his meal very much. The ambiance is cool. I chose a waffle for the first time at First Watch. I always chose a breakfast item meaning eggs, meat potatoes etc. Today I thought I would go with a pastry type of dish. The waffle was light and delicious. It came with fruit compote. And warm syrup. Both were wonderful enhancements to the great waffle. We recently had breakfast at First Watch in Clarksville. It is a nice, friendly feeling place that stayed busy. His meal was better than mine. He had an omelette, which he enjoyed. I opted for grits and scrambled eggs with cheese. The eggs were okay, but the grits were flavorless. I added salt and pepper, but wound up leaving them. Our waitress never asked about our food. When I took the ticket to the cash register it was lucky for me that the manager was there and asked if everything was good. I said my grits weren't. He took them off the ticket. The food at the Clarksville First Watch is always delicious and the service is usually good. However, today I was there when it wasn't busy & a server started dusting the ceiling light fixtures & metal works overhead. A lady at the next table complained, but when the manager (??) came over she was rude & dismissive. She said the cleaning had to get done because the staff only has a chance to clean when customers are there. She wasn't concerned that dust would fall onto tables & food. Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Awesome service as usual. I went here for my birthday and got the quinoa bowl and my husband got the traditional breakfast. We also got the muffin of the day (orange cranberry muffin). I don't really care for orange cranberry but this muffin is an exception. It had the right amount of acidity and sweetness; a perfect companion for a hot cup of coffee. The quinoa bowl was okay. I would say I prefer the chicken pesto quinoa bowl as I felt the one I ordered lacked flavor. As always--We loved the potatoes and toast paired with their jam. I don't remember if the jam is homemade, but I love that it was not too sweet and it blended well with the whipped butter. Restaurant is very baby-friendly. Today was my first day trying out First Watch. I've been wanting to come for a while but would always just end up eating somewhere that was closer to me instead. I had the Chikichanga which was a burrito essentially with chicken, chorizo, eggs, avocado, and onions. I'm literally drooling on myself right now thinking about it. Lol I also had a cocktail called Cereal Milk which was great as well. I usually don't like coffee mixed drinks but this was a cold drink which I think made it better than from when I've had a hot one before. The atmosphere is very casual. It was busy when I went because it was the day after Derby but we only had to wait for about ten minutes before being seated which was great. Will definitely come again! First time at First Watch. I gave the 4 stars mostly because they didn't do anything wrong. My co worker and I came for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. I mistakenly didn't check in online as I didn't know that was an option. Anyway, I was told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. Having nowhere else to be, we decided to wait. At about 50 minutes our table was ready. The server was pleasant and answered our questions. The wait for our food was another 45 minutes after ordering. I had the "Trifecta" and a side of spiced potatoes. Waffle, eggs, and bacon were all good, but not exactly piping hot. Potatoes also good, but a bit light on the spice for being spicy potatoes. All in all a good meal if a bit pricy, but not really something I'd want to wait a hour and a half on if I had to do it again. read more

I chose a Fall special that was a breakfast a sandwich. It was really good. Very different and filling. The potatoes were not so good. They actually tasted musty. I know that sounds weird but that is what my husband and I both thought. Not sure how that happened but I was not expecting. The service was slight. The waitress took our order and another server brought me a carafe of water and a small juice glass with no ice and no lemon. I drink the room temp water, while watching other customers drink their large glass of ice water with lemon. The store was not as clean as I remember it. A straw laid on the floor in plan site the whole time we sat there and when we left we picked it up and put it on our table. They were not that busy and it took us a few minutes to get our bill. I was out in this area to pick out the granite counter tops at a bear by place and decided to try a new Brunch place out. We happen to see this one on the Map. I thought based on the pictures that the food would be delicious. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Wow! They greet you promptly at the front even held the door open for you. Don't know if it's a thing or maybe they are new but that's a awesome. Madison was really nice and very informative of what was on the menus. She asked if we had ever eaten at this establishment. We said no. She pointed out a couple of good things on the menu and then pointed out what her favorite one was. Very few servers do this. She was very polite and spoke clearly which made it even easier to follow. Madison did a wonderful job bringing out our drinks and making sure we received our food and were satisfied. If you stop in to eat this delicious food ask for Madison she will take care of you. The power was apparently off before we arrived so it was a little a hot. But it cooled down quick. What we did notice though. Is that it filled up so fast. Glad we arrived when we did. Because there wasn't a seat to be had right before we finished our food. So get there early. But still ask for Madison if she has an open seat in her area she does a wonderful job taking care out you. The menus you will see from my pics. Also what I ate was the " Elote Mexican street Corn Hash" was Devine. They hit it out of the ball park with this one. The dish was put together wonderfully. First Watch is not a new restaurant to me and my family, but I thought that today was a good day for a review. At every visit, o am always happy with service and quality of food. Consistency is certainly their strong suit. Usually I would order a BLT Benedict without bread. It is **chefs kiss** perfect every time! Again consistency! But as of today, I am breastfeeding a babe with an intolerance to dairy...so no hollandaise for me . Today I opted for the AM Superfoods Bowl- a lusciously creamy coconut chia seed pudding topped with fruit and served with almond butter toast. The pudding was decadent, I felt like I was eating dessert! The fruit (strawberries, banana, blueberries) was cut fresh and was the perfect contrast to the pudding along with the granola. I was extremely satisfied with my choice and will definitely order again!
