Martha then seated us as a Hostess, then she was our most friendly and informative server. I have to say Martha is the prettiest server I ever had. Her spirit is so sweet also. I wish she would be our server EVERY time. I had coffee and Morning Meditation for breakfast. The Morning Meditation is so tasty and healthy. It is the second special beverage I tried and neither disappointed. My friend got eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancake for breakfast. He also liked his meal very much. The ambiance is cool. I opted for grits and scrambled eggs with cheese. The eggs were okay, but the grits were flavorless. I added salt and pepper, but wound up leaving them. Our waitress never asked about our food. When I took the ticket to the cash register it was lucky for me that the manager was there and asked if everything was good. I said my grits weren't. He took them off the ticket. The food at the Clarksville First Watch is always delicious and the service is usually good. However, today I was there when it wasn't busy & a server started dusting the ceiling light fixtures & metal works overhead. A lady at the next table complained, but when the manager (??) came over she was rude & dismissive. She said the cleaning had to get done because the staff only has a chance to clean when customers are there. She wasn't concerned that dust would fall onto tables & food. Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. Awesome service as usual. I went here for my birthday and got the quinoa bowl and my husband got the traditional breakfast. We also got the muffin of the day (orange cranberry muffin). I don't really care for orange cranberry but this muffin is an exception. It had the right amount of acidity and sweetness; a perfect companion for a hot cup of coffee. The quinoa bowl was okay. I would say I prefer the chicken pesto quinoa bowl as I felt the one I ordered lacked flavor. As always--We loved the potatoes and toast paired with their jam. I don't remember if the jam is homemade, but I love that it was not too sweet and it blended well with the whipped butter. Restaurant is very baby-friendly. We got seated pretty quickly too because of the call ahead option that they have on certain apps, but we still had to squeeze five people in a four person table, which was no big deal. Today was my first day trying out First Watch. I've been wanting to come for a while but would always just end up eating somewhere that was closer to me instead. I had the Chikichanga which was a burrito essentially with chicken, chorizo, eggs, avocado, and onions. I'm literally drooling on myself right now thinking about it. The waitress took our order and another server brought me a carafe of water and a small juice glass with no ice and no lemon. I drink the room temp water, while watching other customers drink their large glass of ice water with lemon. The store was not as clean as I remember it. A straw laid on the floor in plan site the whole time we sat there and when we left we picked it up and put it on our table. They were not that busy and it took us a few minutes to get our bill. I was out in this area to pick out the granite counter tops at a bear by place and decided to try a new Brunch place out. We happen to see this one on the Map. I thought based on the pictures that the food would be delicious. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Wow! They greet you promptly at the front even held the door open for you. Don't know if it's a thing or maybe they are new but that's a awesome. Madison was really nice and very informative of what was on the menus. She asked if we had ever eaten at this establishment. We said no. She pointed out a couple of good things on the menu and then pointed out what her favorite one was. Very few servers do this. She was very polite and spoke clearly which made it even easier to follow. Madison did a wonderful job bringing out our drinks and making sure we received our food and were satisfied. If you stop in to eat this delicious food ask for Madison she will take care of you. The power was apparently off before we arrived so it was a little a hot. But it cooled down quick. What we did notice though. Is that it filled up so fast. Glad we arrived when we did. Because there wasn't a seat to be had right before we finished our food. So get there early. But still ask for Madison if she has an open seat in her area she does a wonderful job taking care out you. The menus you will see from my pics. We ordered "The Works" omelet, the Chickichanga, an orange juice, coffee, and split a chocolate chip pancake. Total for all was $35. Fair price, but the $3.69 glass of OJ was warm rather than chilled, so that was disappointing. Everything else was savory, fresh, and well worth the pricing. I loved the Chickichanga - it was a burrito filled with chicken, avocado, onion, chorizo, and cheese, topped with Vera Cruz sauce & sour cream. Very good & filling. It was served with diced skillet potatoes that were crisp outside, soft inside, and arrived hot. The pancake was large & loaded with chocolate chips - definitely glad we split it just to get a few sweet bites with our meals. My friend loved the Works omelet & finished it all; it was served with a salad and two slices of thick toast with strawberry jelly. The only two negatives of this experience were 1. the women's restroom was a disaster - one toilet was clogged & sitting full of waste, one stall had both toilet paper rolls empty, there were paper towels all over the floor from the trash can being full, water all over the sink & floor. The restrooms definitely needs much more attention during peak times like Saturday brunch... pretty bad shape. 2. The checkout process is total chaos. You pay at the register, but the registers are located right where people crowd to wait for tables, so trying to figure out where the line starts & trying to weave your way through everyone waiting was a mess. But as of today, I am breastfeeding a babe with an intolerance to dairy...so no hollandaise for me . Today I opted for the AM Superfoods Bowl- a lusciously creamy coconut chia seed pudding topped with fruit and served with almond butter toast. The pudding was decadent, I felt like I was eating dessert! The fruit (strawberries, banana, blueberries) was cut fresh and was the perfect contrast to the pudding along with the granola.
