12/16/24 stopped for breakfast and almost left because of the freezing temp inside. The servers were very nice, the food pretty good but the freezing temps made it so we gobbled our food down and got out of there. Stopped by there about a month ago and same problem. Last time we will go to this WH and I hate to state that as it's actually a pretty good WH. There was plenty of room to eat because I think people are tired of the cold temps inside. Not sure why employees don't realize what's going on. It affects their customers and that in turn affects their tips. Also, please take the music machine out, breakfast time is not the time for Friday night type music to be played by the employees. Saw one of the servers pick about 6 songs and every one of them were too loud and harsh for morning music. Hope they change things. read more

Well well the Waffle House review. I stopped by here with my husband for a quick breakfast. Typical Waffle House atmosphere. Our server was attentive our table a little sticky. I would of given this location a 4 star until I was in the middle of eating and had a whiff of some sewage smells. Also having it be Waffle House only 1 Waffle maker was working. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich hash covered and capped. My cheesesteak sandwich was rather darker then my husbands but I still ate it. Waffles just took forever due to lack of only 1 working. I could only imagine if it was really busy!! Do you tell customers hey our Waffle machines aren't working but we are a house of waffles. Lol. Besides that and the smell everything else was just normal. Prices aren't too bad as always and food was hot and as expected. Service was good and parking never to shy of any short. read more

If you have been to a Waffle House then you know what to expect. As such, I was disappointed when the cook was not smoking a cigarette upon arrival. When I walked in the air smelled of sweet syrup and stale yet acceptable waffles and bacon. My two friends and I sat at the table and our server angrily glared at us when she finally approached 15 minutes later. I have never felt more unwelcome in an establishment as I sipped on the days old tea that was brought to the table with unbridled spite. The food tasted great though. Today on 02/02/23 my family and I ordered late and I have to say that the night crew that was working tonight did a phenomenal job. As soon as I walked in they greeted me and took my order. The cook cooked our food within 10-15 minutes and had me out of there. Once I got home my mom said her bacon angus burger was so good that she thought it had to been one of the best burgers she's had. My food was delicious as well. This Waffle House is right by my house and after a year of going to this location I avoid it like the plague. Staff is constantly arguing and slamming dishes around and bickering back and forth. It takes FOREVER to get your order and when it comes it's usually wrong. Most of the employees are rude and annoyed by the sight of you walking in the door. I now take friends and family to the eagles landing location. The atmosphere is very unsettling. Our waitress Ashley was very friendly and quick with our orders, and our food was great as well! I order food every other week at this place prior to going to work. And when I get to work and see my food I'm very disappointed. Waffles burnt. Hash browns burnt. Like come on. It's very disheartening when you ready to dig into what you think is gonna be a great breakfast but end up dumping it. I've told them in the past I want my waffle light and then I get it doughy. I can't win. And then I'm tipping them for something I don't even get to eat. Employees should take more pride in what they doing because customers support the business but makes it hard to keep coming back when the food isn't done right. I won't be back to this location. If I could rate it a zero, I would. This is the worst Waffle House I've been to in my entire life. They didn't greet me when I arrived, it was poorly cleaned, our server had bad customer service, my waffle was undercooked ( when I specifically asked for it to be well done), there was raw batter on my waffle twice, the staff was highly unprofessional and gossiping on the clock ( making it an uncomfortable and non family friendly environment), our waitress failed to check on us, and she was on her phone when she she could've been waiting on our table. The food was absolutely disgusting!! Worst of all, the cook was eating NOODLES on the clock while he was preparing food. This Waffle House has piss poor management and needs a completely different rebrand. I will never give this location any more of my money. read more

We all know that Waffle House is hit or miss, but most of the time you get what they advertise: Good Food. Not great. Good. Today was an exception to that rule and I mean a BIG exception. I have eaten at 100's of Waffle Houses in around 20 states over the course of my five decades on the planet. I have left reviews for only one other. I really thought that experience was the penultimate Waffle House experience. How WRONG I was. Today we were served by Katelyn who was sweet, courteous, and attentive. She alone would have made our experience nice. But the chef....my god, the CHEF. Yeah, that's right, I said CHEF, was Gino and he was over the-top AMAZING. I got my usual basic breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, grits, and hash browns (scattered smothered, covered). The eggs were perfect: gently scrambled and seasoned perfectly. The bacon? Crisp, but not overdone. The hash browns were beautiful. Seriously, I should have taken a picture. The onions were the perfect size and obviously cut by someone who knows that size does matter in hash browns. The grits were literally the most amazing bowl of southern delight that I have seen in many a year. They had the proper amount of butter and the perfect amount of salt. These grits were so good that there should be a country song written about them.The toast? Awesome. Of course it was, because how could anyone mess up toast, you ask? Well, we just had this happen just two days ago, so getting toast prepared by Gino, the Waffle House Chef, was a delight: perfectly golden with the exact amount of butter needed. The Waffle House #1835 should be turned into a shrine to good diner fare. I cannot fathom a possibility where another cook will get everything done to the perfection that Gino provided. I dare say that it is now possible that if I drive by and see Gino behind the counter that I may have to pull in and grab a bite even if I've already eaten. One does not drive by perfection. For some reason our orange juice tasted like ONIONS. Our food came out really slow and it smelled pretty funny.

This is the closest location for us and I will NEVER try it again! Everything was burnt! The toast, the bacon, and the hash browns. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. All but two booths were piled with dirty plates and cups and there was only a couple of elderly ladies eating with three employees. Server complained about being tired to us as soon as we walked in the door. The booth we sat in was not wiped down and was sticky. Same female server acted like she couldn't be bothered serving us. I decided not to eat and my husband ordered something easy just so he wasn't starving, since we didn't want to risk any complicated food orders that would come out wrong or gross. It felt gross inside. The two elderly ladies had dirty silverware placed on their table and needed new sets. While we waited for my husband's food, the female employee pepped up while talking to the other two employees but still acted like she was on Xanax while talking to us. They eventually turned the music on the make it not so awkwardly silent in the restaurant. My husband's food came and he said it tasted off like something wasn't right. Took son at 6pm on a Friday for waffles, as he requested them as a special treat, for doing well during his first week at school. All tables were full, we chose to wait. Waitress said as soon as she had a clean available table we would be seated. As we waited 2 children at a table in back left. We waited as the waitress cleaned the table. 2 men walked in and went right to the table as she was cleaning it and she seated them, without any regards to our wait. I took my son and left without raising a scene. While it is not clear if she was being prejudiced, she clearly showed favoritism. Will not return. read more
