This rating is just on my visit today, it's usually pretty good at the Tyrone location. The young guy with glasses needs to be retrained on his cooking. My chicken sandwich was cooked with the weight on it and the chicken was totally flat like it was beat with a hammer. I ask for onions on the sandwich and I swear it had 4 little pieces of onions on it and when I ask for more onions, his response was, does he want the whole container, WTH. Next, the lettuce he gave me was rotten, I also had eggs but he put them in a to-go container, maybe he was trying to tell me to leave I guess. The server, Lateefa was super nice though. read more

Consistently provides good food, good service, and this location is in a great spot. Not too crowded the few mornings I've been either.

My daughter and I stopped here around 10pm and received the best service I have ever experienced at a Waffle House. The server was Hannah and the cook was Eric. They were both very friendly and pleasant (which isn't my typical experience at a Waffle House). Late night greasy food?! This is your spot. When it comes to Waffle House, don't expect over the top quality ever. I have frequented this location numerous times in the late evening. While the food is not my favorite, I know this going in. Expect decent service and greasy food every time because it's Waffle House. :) Save yourself a lot of money by ordering the All-Star and trashing the things you don't really want or bringing them home. Been here a few times never really been impressed. The servers are usually pretty good today though I came in after work. I work construction and it's been pretty wet the past few days . I was treated horribly. I came in to get it to go order i sat at the bar. Older lady wearing a white waffle house shirt came and swept and mop under my feet while I sat at the bar the whole time I was there, she stood behind me when I get up to leave she huffs an puffs with an attitude and she tells me to walk lightly to not get no dirt on the floor. My boots weren't even that dirty I kicked everything off of them before I went in The store but why treat a customer like that knowing I wouldn't be there but for 10 minutes. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Its sad that this place only has two stars. The reviews must have been completed on a different shift or with different employees. I showed up at around 5am to two employees working. Both greeted me very happily when I walked in the door. The server was very nice and the cook was great. He interacted with me, asked me specifics about how I wanted my food cooked and packaged. Everything was made perfectly and tasted great. The bathroom was clean as was the customer seating area. You could tell that these two took pride in their job. I was trying this location because I had such a bad experience at the Fairburn location. I will definitely be back to this place in the future. Thanks for the great customer service. read more

The elderly lady who's the cook is wonderful! I love her food and her conversation. The kids that are servers though, HORRIBLE. The 2-3 times I've gone in there where they are the servers, they are too busy paying attention to other things than getting the orders right. There needs to be proper training and management when kids are working. Good food, TERRIBLE SERVICE. This is what made it bad this time: can I have a light pecan waffle and hash browns with onions and cheese and eggs scrambled hard. I heard the kid call the order wrong. So no hard scrambled eggs and hash browns with just onions. I let it slide. Then I'm told no pecans. I said no pecans? The manager said yeah we don't have any...oh he wants some? Hold up...she goes to the back and brings out what looks like a five pound bag of pecans unopened. Teenager makes my waffle while doing other stuff...burnt to a crisp. I told him, man I asked for light. He proceeds to make another one. After a couple of minutes I said hey man I think my waffle is ready. We were treated so rudely at WH in Tyrone Ga. We weren't greeted by the WH customary greeting. All very young staff members and none never attempted to make eye contact. Another costumer got up and gave us his & his grandson's table and they sat at the bar bc tables were taped off for no use. Hating to take their seat we headed for the door and one of the line workers said rather loudly @ Oh goodie!" A young lady bussing tables walked right by us w/o saying a word, walked out and started taping a sign on the door said take out only. We've tried calling in take out in recent month only to get no answer to call to order. Used to be our favorite Sat. B'fast place. Never again! Our church is less than a mile and groups often stop to eat there after church. We will be sharing our experience with them. The service was great and the waitress there was so nice to us but the only problem is that the cook was only screaming at the waitress saying that they're slow and that they need to hurry up and tell him the orders right. The waitress was telling him the orders but he made the wrong thing because he was wearing headphones the whole time. How could he possibly hear them correctly when he's wearing headphones. I think the cook should be fired with people who treat their employees like that nobody would like to go back just to see him scream at them! read more

I rarely give 1 star reviews, but I feel this warrants a true 1 star experience. I came to this Waffle House randomly this morning and passed two other waffle houses on the way because they had so many people inside. I then cake across this waffle House with 4 people inside and thought "this is perfect"! I go inside and order steak and eggs with a waffle and coffee (along with cream and sugar). Now I know the wafle houses I typically go to are quick and efficient....this one is an exception. I didn't get my coffee or cream and sugar until after my food arrived, then my food was piece milled out one item at a time like an assembly line. The icing on th cake for me was right after I received my food, all the servers sat down at the counter and began eating their lunch, with what looked like one of their boyfriends. From that point forward no one checked to see if I needed anything, got me a refill, nothing. I even had to go up and ask for a to go box and was given the smallest one they had even after she saw how much food I was taking. I'm going to say this, I'm a loyal patron of Waffle House and this by far did not diminish my love for their food, but take it from me, you will do better stopping at one of the two WH along the way before arriving at this location! read more

One of the nastiest WOHO's I've ever been in .....: tried it 3 times thinking they would come around. The last time one I was there arrived st 12:30a ..:::: there was no one in the store....::: waited 10 minutes no one ever came out. As we were leaving we realized the employees were asleep in the their cars. They never woke up so we went to the WOHO in PTC ....., obviously this is an ongoing problem for the Tyrone and Peachtree a City stores:.,:,; they like sleeping in their cars and no one holds them accountable read more

Terrible service on the midnight shift. My order was all wrong and the waitress was very slow and unattentive. Never refilled our drinks and left my food sitting on the counter to get cold until I finally ask when was I going to get my food again. Then she only gave me 10% off of my bill at the end. I have been to this waffle house 3 times, 3 times this waffle house has let me down. 3 times this waffle house has gotten our orders wrong all by the same cook each time. 3 times the waitress has been blatantly rude. This time though I have had enough. I understand it takes time too cook food, but we waited nearly an hour for our breakfast. And on a day like today in which I have had 2 hours of sleep and woke up to no running water, I would have liked a nice warm, correct breakfast we didnt have to cook. Thats far far faaaar from what I got. I waited an hour for my food for my sister, myself, and our parents. That would have all been fine had the cook/manager not been screwing around and complaining that he hates his job. Once we got our food we went back home straight away to eat seeing as we were all hungry. My fathers breakfast which was mainly to be a SAUSAGE, CHEESE, AN EGG biscuit conisted of only egg. My mothers fiesta omelette which was to have SAUSAGE, BACON, HAM, AND JALEPENOS, consisted of canned mushrooms which they have never put on their before, no meat, and some cheese. Now after my mother called they said they would fix it even though the cook said "no i cooked it right the first time" and didnt tell us we needed to bring anything back. I return and get a "are you the girl whose order was wrong" and I reply with yeah then i get a "wheres the food" I had not been told they needed the old food back. I told her, Mrs.Debbie, that I wasnt told we were to bring it back, and on came the barrage of you have to bring the food back which at this point was turning into a loud mess, Mrs.Debbie was making a scene. The cook finally came over and intervened while asking what I was supposed to have and I told him. Mrs.Debbie tried getting rude again but was sent away. After waiting another 20 minutes for a small omelette and biscuit I checked the food and thinking it was right, left. When I got home what I recieved what yet another wrong omelette, that has clearly been made by a smart ass i.e. a small omelette with everything not in it but strune all over the container. It had 4 jalepenos, one small piece of sausage and UNDER COOKED MOSTLY RAW bacon, So he could have made my mother get very sick had she not realized it. All in all all three times this place has let me down. If i could give it negative star rating I would but as a well known cosplayer in the georgia area Ill just let people know through my fan base. The staff are rude, and the food is either wrong, under cooked, or just plane bad. Please please PLEEEASE do NOT eat here go somewhere else please.
