This Huddle House was very gracious and was the only restaurant that was open for 20+ miles around my parents house on Christmas Day. They worked diligently and graciously despite being severely overwhelmed with everyone around placing orders nonstop. No matter how overwhelmed they were they were still smiling and being extremely gracious to each customer coming in to get something to eat on Christmas Day. I'm extremely grateful that they were open and glad to cook me and my parents some delicious breakfast food for our Christmas Day lunch! My family visited this location for lunch. Our server, Kayla, was awesome but everything else was not. Upon arriving we were told to seat ourselves by a group of servers/cooks. After walking around to find a seat we went back to the front to wait because ALL the tables were dirty. And there were only 2 other tables being occupied. After our server apologized she cleaned a table and let us know that she had just started her shift. We all ordered a side of veggies. The cup was half full. My smoked turkey sandwich tasted sour and my mom said her mashed potatoes tasted sour as well. As we sat and talked someone came in with pajamas on. Talked to a different server in an area that was supposed to be for staff only. He then proceeded to clean the tables...in his pjs. "I recently had the unfortunate experience of using Huddle House's catering service, and it was a huge disappointment. The food quality was far from what I expected -- cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. I would rather eat grass because it would be fresh! The portions were inconsistent, leaving some guests without enough to eat, while others had more than needed. On top of that, the customer service was lacking; it felt like our business wasn't valued, they forgot about us. The communication was frustratingly slow. The worst customer service ever . I went in tables that were clean had waiters cell phone plugged in on one and jacket laptop on the other . I politely asked if these tables were taken . He moved his stuff w attitude then asked what I wanted threw menu down never looked at me said wad u whet ( not mis spelled) that what he said . Random stop I made on the way to Florida. Appears to be a chain, but not one I'm familiar with being from the north. This place was a bit hidden being next to a gas station. Expectation level: Casual diner Pros: -A serviceable option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner -This was a very clean location. Felt very new - Despite the small portions the pulled pork was delicious. Cons: -Service was friendly but a tad slower than I would expect -Portions may be lacking for larger appetites Bottom Line: - Not the best meal I've had, but a worthy stop off the highway. read more

Great food! The loaded hash browns were the best! Good service, food cooked properly and good menu. We ate at 2 locations and this applies to both. I HAD to go back the next morning to another Huddle to get those amazing loaded hash browns! read more

I am only giving a 1 star for the service. If the waitress wouldnt have acted the way she did while we were paying it would have been a solid 4 star. The food was good and up until the end the service was also good. I stopped here to eat with my parents, who paid for the meal. They left cash on the table for a tip and was going to pay with a card. The waitress came over with the kiosk for them to pay with the card. She saw the cash on the table and said "Is this what you're leaving for a tip?" My parents replied yes, to which the waitress responded with a smart mouth "oook" AND ROLLED HER EYES. She walked away from the table shaking her head. If you don't think your tip was what it should have been MAYBE you're the problem. There is no excuse to act that way because you think you deserve more. So whoever the waitress was at the Huddle House off the jackson exit in the shell gas station around 1:30-2 on June 2, 2023 and served the round table in the corner. DO BETTER. I would also like to add that we were only the 3rd set of people in the restaurant so being busy is not an excuse. We also waited 5-10 mins before she ever came to the table. read more

Absolutely amazing service and food!! We went on a crazy rainy morning and were immediately offered $1 cocoas to warm us up! We sat down and found out the grandma and grandpa of the owners were sitting right next to us after they gave my son (it was his 6th birthday that day) $2 and gave us a sheet of coupon allowing 7 of us to eat for $45!! Unbelievable!! Then the cooks brought out a Mickey Mouse pancake for my son for his birthday which he was so excited about!! Ate it so fast I couldn't get a picture of it whole!!! Amazing people! Example of why service industry doesn't deserve to get paid $15/hr. People standing around doing nothing, with no accountability. Such a let down. Sat there for 15 minutes after we placed an order and people looked at us like we were stupid when we asked why there was no food on the stove the whole time we were there.. It's an okay place for just a quick bite when stopping on a long trip. Food is just okay and service was nothing special.

The food is great, however the time is incredible long for doordash. Every time we've ordered the driver gets there and has to wait 30+ mins. The drivers are always good but the service from huddle house is the problem. We still order all the time but wish the food was prepared a little faster then what is has been. read more

The staff of three, including cook, were too busy talking and cutting up, going to back, to worry about us. There was one table in there when we got there, they left. That table sat without being cleaned the whole time we were there . The waffle was so overcooked is was crispy. The biscuit was tough and rubbery and the hashbrowns way overcooked.
