Unfortunately I ended up here because we had car troubles on our work travels and had to make an extended stay, but fortunately this Waffle House was across the road and made for the perfect dinner!! The staff was so friendly and so welcoming and really made the meal so enjoyable. Waffle House is a classic and this restaurant lived up to what was expecting. Absolutely terrible experience at this Waffle House. I came in with 3 friends, so there were 4 of us total. We sat down and waited 30 minutes without anyone coming over to take our order or even acknowledge us. What made it worse was that there were only about 3 other tables occupied, so it wasn't like the restaurant was packed or overwhelmed. We sat there watching employees move around while completely ignoring our table. Then another customer walked in after us, and they were immediately acknowledged and served while we were still sitting there waiting. At that point, it honestly felt like we were being intentionally ignored. We understand that restaurants can get busy and that things happen, but waiting 30 minutes just to have someone take our order when the restaurant was mostly empty is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and basic customer service was the biggest issue. We eventually decided it wasn't worth continuing to wait and left. Four customers sitting at a table for 30 minutes without even being acknowledged should never happen, especially when other customers who arrived later are being helped right away. Very disappointing experience. We came in expecting a simple meal and basic service and couldn't even get that. I wouldn't recommend this location unless you're prepared to be ignored. OMG WHY DID I GIVE THIS PLACE A STAR BECAUSE HAD TO. This Waffle House is probably the worse i have ever been in ordered bowl of chili and grill cheese with hash browns, Wife order a bowl of cheese grits and an order of bacon. The unit Manager came over and said that the chili did not look right, and she would not serve it. Ok. Grill cheese was not melted. The Wifes Bacon was Burnt Black. Walked in to eat after a late evening traveling. I ordered an omelet, hash browns, and toast. The omelet was burnt and crusty on one side and grease soaked on the other. I never eat at a Waffle House because there is no variety . This place didn't disappoint. The server said we can fix it but you gotta ask. I said it'll be okay. I attempted to and but down on eggshell. She said she can remake it but I was done by then. So she takes our ticket and redoes it. We stopped in after leaving our hotel. Very limited seating and there was no effort made to create a new place to sit. There were dirty tables and quite a few employees behind the counter. We found a place on our own and Tami was our waitress. She is also know as "Tripp" lol and that she was. She was friendly and kept the coffee filled. The wait for the food was pretty lengthy. I ordered a a ham and cheese omelet and Home fries well done. and the hubs order a waffle and home fries also well done. My omelet was the greasiest omelet I've ever ever had, the waffle was probably the saddest most soggy waffle. The hash browns were anything but well done. There was a new employee ( I assumed ) names Dalton, he was also friendly and checked on us multiple times. read more

I've only been to a few of these places as there are none around my area in Pittsburgh. They are super convenient for a quick in and out breakfast with refillable coffee that you don't have to pay a ton of money for. My wife and I stopped here on our way to the beach. It was early morning and we had coffee and split the 2 egg breakfast which came with hash browns and toast. You can add an extra egg for $0.40 which we did. Nothing fancy, just enough to refuel and get back on the road with a decent warm breakfast. Overall a filling breakfast to split having been snacking on several unhealthy things in the car prior to stopping. I liked how quick of a stop it was and don't mind stopping at these in the future. read more

Tonight I drove into the waffle house and ordered coffee. I have never received such disgusting service. This is the first and last time I'm coming here. The worker cashier was disgusting. There were very few people, and only I ordered. cashier told me to wait with such a look as if I came to her house and asked for free coffee. Then they made me a coffee (a small), I asked how much the coffee was, I was told $ 2.28 and was given coffee without milk and sugar. I asked for milk and sugar (and regretted it, cashier looked at me with such a look that I regretted my request). I gave cashier $ 3 dollars and I was given only 12 cents back, although coffee was $ 2.28. I said it's not right and cashier said that she didn't have any more. Place was dirty...no one in restaurant and waitstaff was busy talking to each other while tables were full of dirty dishes. Ashley our waitress, and I use that term loosely, stood at our table without even asking us what we wanted to drink, I guess it was up to us to know what she was thinking. She never even greeted us. We all asked for water, she only brought 2 out of three and no straws. Coffee was good but I guess we are only allowed 1 cup and no refills. No refills on water or tea either. Waffles were good, grits..yuck! I've always loved Waffle House grits and these were terrible! I sent mine back and Ashley didn't even ask if I'd like to swap them out for something else. She did take them off the bill. She never came back to refill anything or ask how the rest of our meal was. We stood for a spell at the register to pay and no-one could bother so we put the money on the counter...our waitress panicked when the money wasn't on the table and look back at us like we were walking out without paying! I told her it was on the counter and she looked quite sour..I have never had an awful experience at a Waffle House until now! So sad! read more

This has to be the the most dirtiest place I've ever seen in my life. There were plates piled on the counter and tables, no were to even eat your food nobody uses gloves in this place. The bathroom almost made me earl. I wouldn't let my pit bull eat here. If there was a way to give a negative star I would. Im surprise the health dept doesn't shut them down. I am from California and we do not have waffle houses anywhere around. We keep seeing them, so we thought we would give it a shot. Our toddler was fussy and one of the lady's brought her a toy to play with and a stuffed animal for our baby. I could not believe their genuine happiness and "southern" hospitality. It was OK food, a good waffle and some coffee but excellent service. People like to complain that their was food on the floor and yes I saw that when I walked in but people its a restaurant. If you are going to make a lot of food in an 8 hour shift you are gonna drop some bits of food on the floor they will most likely clean it up when they have time on their hands. read more

This was the worst Waffle House I have ever been to. Eggs was rotten, omelette was cooked in so much grease it was dripping, hash browns was burnt and grits was cold. Very disappointing. To top it all off, the staff was more concerned with a shooting and gossip then taking care of the customers. Stopped here at 10 pm on a Friday night. Mom's first visit back to Waffle House since 1988. We love the grilled chicken sandwich. This location was very clean, the line was efficient, and the staff attentive. Located in the parking lot of an older motel, and the parking was well- lit. Enter at the entrance to the inn.
