This is my second time here after being here over six years ago. Wanted to see if the service was as good as last time. This time it was even better. I ordered the MVP again and it was delicious. The cook Timmy cooked an amazing meal. Hot and fresh in a quick time. Our server, Kaydence was absolutely amazing. She was super attentive, gave recommendations and was very pleasing. She was funny and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant was clean. Whenever Kaydee was not assisting a customer she was cleaning. Would dine here again. read more

So.. I was leaving my restaurant on my Day off and decided to get huddle house waffles cause they're awesome.. I walked in to 3 people cleaning and was greeted by a sweet young woman. I ordered a coffee for here and 2 waffles Togo which was when she said someone else would hafta ring me in because she couldn't (not really a big deal newbies are newbies).. the "waitress" made me new coffee which took exactly as long as it takes coffee to make and then gave me the coffee splenda and creams I asked for at my seat.. normal and appreciated.... as I was about to take my first sip she puts my order by the register (I'm the only patron there and I'm sitting 3 stools down from the register happily engrossed in my phone) where she waits for me to get up and come to her to pay which I do and tip then (I ask for $5 back from a $20 and t the bill was $10 and change not that I have any proof because I was not afforded a receipt but felt needed to be included so that wasn't an issue)...... I sit back down and I grab a piece of waffle and begin to eat it at which time she tells me that I can't sit there and eat food Togo.. I had to pour my coffee into a Togo cup and had to leave the restaurant because her manager made 2 guys do it the night before ..... read more

This spot is a Waffle House disguised as an upbeat clean diner. It's not clean. Nor is the food good. BLT has more mayo than the bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and Texas toast combined. Mayo tasted old as well. There was no social distancing. Would not recommend. read more

This place is literally in the middle of no where, across from a Waffle House-- which I regret not choosing over this place. The place is not even that cheap.. priced at around $10 per person for a southern breakfast, you can have chicken & waffles for breakfast, even topped with gravy and bacon bits. Our waitress who was an older woman was unfriendly, unhelpful and rushed us through ordering. For a place that was practically empty and would have difficulty competing against the Waffle House chain, you would expect better hospitality. Anyways, the food was alright. Nothing spectacular but I'm not going to lie and say it was horrible.. Just better to make a 1 minute drive across the street to a Waffle House. read more

The only reason why there is 2 stars is because of our server Chris. This is like a middle of nowhere po-dunk place. That you would pass on a road trip. And since my family and I were on a road trip and starving, we ended up here. The service was phenomenal because Chris was a great server. However the cook was such an Ursula. She had no respect and frankly, scared the shit of out me. So, in my best interest, I ordered a salad. I hope to never stumble upon this shack again. read more

Very horrible experience. Walked in for a late night meal and stood at the counter. Not busy at all, saw waitresses sitting doing nothing yet they would not even acknowledge that we were standing there. Can't tell you how the food was because we couldn't get any service. Shared this story with a relative and they said yep, they had encountered the same rude and horrible service. They ended up walking out just like we did. Best Huddle House I've been too. Service was fast, food was perfect! It was so good we ended up going back the following night.

Road tripping back from Florida to Indiana and my husband suggested we stop at Huddle House. I'd never been but he tells me it was always good when he was younger. He neglected to mention at the time those younger days were never sober stops. Even so I was pleasantly surprised. This location was clean and friendly. The food wasn't exactly my cup of tea but the rest of the party enjoyed theirs. You could tell it was well prepared and it was fun hearing and seeing the line cooks in the diner style set up. I'm still not sure I'm sold on Huddle House across the board but this location and experience was a lovely stop in our trek. read more

Interesting time today. No sweet potato fries no tea bags.How can you run a restaurant an not have stuff in store to serve. If I could give it no stars I would. We ordered over the phone they said ten minutes not curbside when in to get it they didn't start the meal yet but three people behind the counter were not wearing masks. Did not feel safe at all and cancelled the order. read more

Do not come here!!!!! You have to wait at least an hour an a half to get your food and to make matters worse our waiter tried to steal our credit card and cell phone. She tried to replace our credit card with a gift card and then we tried to find our cell phone and she had it behind the counter under her pad. They're lucky we didn't call the police. The food is about as good as it gets for a place like Huddle House but the service is also about the worst. There never seems to be enough staff, customers come in and have to clean their own tables before they sit down and it takes forever to get your food. I've seen customers come in and never get served, so they walked out. Honestly if it wasn't for the decent food I would probably never eat here again. read more

It was just okay however I realized that I only got okay service and food because I got there pretty early. I realized while I was eating my food two other tables were waiting a pretty long time to get theirs and they been waiting while I started eating my food and I ordered dessert, ate it and waited five more minutes to get up and pay after that and it wasn't even busy. The crew seemed to be really short handed and only had one person cooking. I guess I was just lucky I got there early. I might go there again and I will edit my review if my experience changes. read more

We travel I-95 weekly and And stop numerous times in Walterboro for breakfast and I've tried multitudes of options from the old bank to Shoney's to IHOP to Cracker Barrel and more. We had not considered the Huddle House but a Local recommended it. Food was great and service was excellent. There are usually 3 of us traveling and to satisfy all 3 and find a place that is well kept servers quality food and good service seemed impossible til now. We went tonight after the high school football game and arrived at 10:50. I ordered our drinks and food at the same time because I could tell our waitress was overwhelmed and slow. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and finally asked the other waitress if she could bring them to us. Well, then we waited and waited and waited....The waitress would walk by and say the food is coming but nothing ever came. At 12:15, our waitress came to our table with our ticket and advised that our food had been taken by the other waitress so she suggested that we void our ticket and leave. We were in our vehicles at 12:17 and royally irritated by the whole situation. There were 2 cooks and 2 waitresses and not one of them could figure out how to correct our situation. This is the last time we go there. That place is an absolute joke. read more

I really did want to give them one star, we went in sat for 29 minuets and was never served, there was only 3 tables when we got there, the waitress had gotten the first tables order wrong and told them she couldn't help it she had a lot going on !!!! Waitress was good, and they greet you when you arrive. No healthy items on menu except for salad, or maybe western omelet without the sides. My salad had lots of chopped tomatoes but the lettuce was mostly the white part of a head of iceberg lettuce, and not properly drained of water. Restroom had broken soap dispenser and only a metal picture hook to hang your pocketbook. If Huddle House has any interest in quality control of their brand, they need to visit this store or franchisee. read more
