I love Waffle Love! They have so many fun flavors. I tried the fresh peaches and cream one tonight, and it didn't disappoint! Seriously so good. Get it with the caramel on top! Come here for a great date night or treat :)

This place is always, always, always a great choice for a sweet treat. The Liege waffles are made so well and all the menu items are great combinations. I love the classic Red Wonder; the Biscoff spread is a must on these waffles, along with some cream and berries. The price of these waffles has definitely gone up, but the portions aren't bad and the quality is great. So overall, you get what you pay for! This place is also worth it to me, because I definitely won't make these myself at home haha (whereas crepes and pizookies can be easily made). It's never busy (I've come on Saturday mornings and Friday nights) and the workers are helpful and make them pretty fast! Also it's a great hangout spot with tons of natural light and cute heart-shaped tables! (ALSO: Find coupons for the waffles in Provo's coupon calendar!)

    Its a waffle house

The foods good, definitely strange as a hispanic texan, this is what we call white folk food. However, the stafff is super friendly and the food was delicious. Its a good snack cant lie try it out.

The Food was perfect, the service was speedy, and the overall look of the place and music playing in the background made the experience amazing!

Good waffles and very filling but also very expensive! The style of restaurant being so casual doesn't really make sense, but the interior mural was cute. The service wasn't great, since they just called out my name rather than dropping my food off at the table. But alas, I always get waffles on Valentine's Day!

Food was excellent, but be prepared to wait for it! Staff was very friendly but overall the time it took to get our order was frustrating!

A Provo classic. Cool vibes and totally worth it. Recommend the banana cream pie waffle, still want to try their new savory stuff.

Every single course delivered…read more We started with honey butter and rolls (dangerous in the best way), then moved to the ricotta and focaccia; perfectly balanced and honestly could've stopped there and been happy. But then came the steak, which was flat-out the best I've had in years. No notes. Here's the thing though, I'm not a gnocchi person. Never have been. Our server talked me into it anyway, and I'm genuinely grateful. It's a short rib and stew situation with gnocchi that somehow hits every note perfectly. Total convert now. And the s'mores pie to close out the night? Simply perfect. Don't skip it. The service was great too, our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us exactly right.

It was first time trying Block and overall it was a neutral experience. I was with a bigger party…read moreand our table was well attended to. However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

The restaurant was well decorated. Each booth and individual bar seats had coat hooks. I think that is a nice touch. The restaurant is clean, including the restroom (I can only comment on the male restroom). The server was great - very friendly and very helpful in deciding what to order. My daughter was craving biscuits and ordered one. While I am not a connoisseur of biscuits, I will say it is the best I have ever had. We came on a weekday morning, no waiting list needed, and were seated immediately. Promising start. Then we waited ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, in a restaurant that was not crowded and appeared to be well staffed. This is not a one time observation. The gap between being seated and actually being served has been a recurring theme across multiple visits, and at some point a pattern stops being a coincidence and starts being a logistics problem that needs fixing. When the food finally arrived it reminded me exactly why I keep giving this place another chance. The crepes with berries and mascarpone were delicate and well executed, though the kitchen could afford to be more generous with both the berry sauce and the mascarpone. The portion is on the modest side, which worked fine for me personally but may leave hungrier diners wanting more. The traditional omelet was the star of the visit, specifically the jalapeño wrapped in bacon that comes with it. It was exceptional and the kind of detail that shows real kitchen creativity. My only complaint is that there is only one. There should be at least two. The cinnamon roll is enormous, which is its own form of commitment, but the dough ran a little dry this visit compared to previous experiences. An off day perhaps, but worth noting. Three stars, and every one of them belongs to the kitchen. Sort out the service flow and this place jumps immediately.

The ribs were smothered in their raspberry bbq sauce which is just not good. Shame because the ribs were tender and cooked well. 2. The brisket. Who taught this person carving tonight how to cut brisket??!?! As someone who lived in central Texas for almost 6 years, the way this meat was cut was offensive. We got a a pound of brisket and they were cut into GIANT chunks almost an inch thick. Brisket is supposed to be SLICED and it's not supposed to be covered in sauce either. Thankfully the classic sauce is actually good but it ruins the bark!! The bark lost its peppery bite being covered in sauce. The point of brisket is it doesn't need sauce if it's done right. The chunks were so thick it made it chewy. Maybe if sliced thinner it would've been better. 3. The potato salad tasted like it was made with dole whip cream it was terribly sweet. The Mac and cheese had no flavor to it at all, and the beans were alright. 4. The sausage was flavorful and juicy. We finished that. I feel so bad for the people of Utah that think this is good bbq. It is not. I don't expect Texas bbq outside of Texas but this was just sad and not worth the $80 we spent. And what's worse is we are still hungry because the ribs were inedible and the brisket was so chewy. And, please please please go over meat carving with whoever was cutting the brisket this evening (4/7).

The other platter had chicken and pulled pork with mashed potato and corn. The mashed potato and corn were good. The pulled pork had great flavor and hit the spot with the table bbq sauce. I did try the heat and sweet with the pulled pork that was good. The chicken was different it had a little of gravy on it which was different. It tasted good. The ambience was welcoming and the music was nice. The service was nice and quick. The restaurant itself needs a little updating as there are peeling spots in the paint on the walls and ceiling.
