This place is always, always, always a great choice for a sweet treat. The Liege waffles are made so well and all the menu items are great combinations. I love the classic Red Wonder; the Biscoff spread is a must on these waffles, along with some cream and berries. The price of these waffles has definitely gone up, but the portions aren't bad and the quality is great. So overall, you get what you pay for! This place is also worth it to me, because I definitely won't make these myself at home haha (whereas crepes and pizookies can be easily made). It's never busy (I've come on Saturday mornings and Friday nights) and the workers are helpful and make them pretty fast! Praiseworthy food. Really! Absolutely fantastic - particularly the egg, bacon waffle sandwich. Very nice girls behind the counter. Now, the hmm-maybe-they'll-improve-this-and-that: 1) They seem short-staffed. 2) Bathrooms, in a word were: yikes! 3) Restaurant area felt scuffed and shopworn. Apparently they once had many more locations and appeared on Food Network. Not sure what year that was though. Doesn't seem like it was probably recent nor can I figure out what led to their current dynamic but hopefully there will be an effort to revive this place, because it is impressive food-wise but appears to need some TLC. read more

This location seems to have gone downhill in the last year. The service is okay. But ever since they moved cooking to the west side of the kitchen/restaurant, the food is super disappointing. Four out of the last five times I've eaten there, the waffles have been tough, the chicken dried out and even burned. Maybe their oil vat has some issues? Regardless, I can't depend on this location to match what I know classic chicken and waffles use to be from them over a year ago. They use to also have lines of people waiting for their orders. Today was my cousin's birthday, and she said she wanted to eat at Waffle Love. At first, I had my doubts, since waffles aren't really my favorite food. However, the waffles at Waffle Love are different than most waffle places. I got the Nutella Love with a croissant waffle, and let me tell you, it was the literal best breakfast item that has ever hit my taste buds!!! The croissant was wonderfully flaky, there was just enough Nutella to make absolutely perfect, and the strawberries were at their best. Better yet, not only was the food SPECTACULAR, the service was great! At the beginning, my Nutella Love came in with a regular waffle, when it was supposed to be croissant. But, then, a whopping five minutes later, give or take, the exact meal I had wanted showed up in front of me. And, there was only one guy actually working! The ambiance in the room was so nice. It had a nice comfortable kind of feel. On the far wall, there was a floral mural which was very well-painted! Other than the flower mural, there were paintings all over, and there was a nice chalkboard with such amazing calligraphy! In my life, I've been to countless different breakfast places. I always forget about Waffle Love. Shame on me. It is always a treat! Every time I eat one I'm so happy and wish I ate more waffles! I'm usually pretty boring and just get a plain leige waffle - it's like eating a donut! This time I branched out and tried the seasonal Apple Strudel waffle. It's a croissant dough (that's typically only used for their savory waffles) that's been deep fried and then topped with sautéed apples, vanilla bean ice cream, and caramel drizzle.
