    My Nala B

Club Pooch is awesome we have had our fur baby Nala there since she was a puppy. Now she just is a little over a yr but she could not be happier then when she goes to see all her friends. Jamie and Melanie are the best management team they both are so helpful and patient with me who always has tons of questions about my girls day etc. If you are looking for a wonderful place to send ur furry baby this is definitely the best. I recently learned they charge 3 times what other vets in the area…read morecharge, and unlike in the past (when a smaller operation), the service isn't even as good. It's just costlier. They literally charge for the smallest of "conveniences", ones that should be part of good care (and don't tell you up front- you just get charged). I was suspicious but since I'd taken my pets there for MANY years (across owners) I was just continuing for convenience. My fault for being "lazy"- but take heed from my experience and shop around for care! The quality doesn't justify the overcharge...

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital…read more While the veterinary care itself may be fine, the front desk staff was shockingly unprofessional and lacking in basic compassion. My dog was visibly anxious and struggling to settle in an already stressful environment. Instead of showing understanding, I overheard front desk staff making comments to one another about my dog, assuming I couldn't hear them. They were laughing under their breath and remarked that their dog would never need to be muzzled like mine. As a pet owner doing my best to manage a nervous animal responsibly, that was humiliating and unnecessary. What was especially concerning is that I was asked to muzzle my dog in the lobby while he was already showing signs of distress. Doing so in a crowded space only escalated the situation and created a potential safety concern for anyone nearby. Muzzling is a valid safety tool, but how and when it's handled matters -- and this was not handled appropriately. A veterinary office should be a place where pet owners feel supported, especially when their animals are struggling. Compassion and professionalism are not optional in this field. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated by the front desk staff during my visit. I truly hope management addresses this, because no client -- or animal -- should be treated this way.

We love how happy Bucky is to go to Camp Bow Wow! It's a testament to the bounty of affection and attention each counselor gives to every camper. There is no need for us to be anxious about how Bucky is doing throughout the day, either. Between the daily pictures on social media and the ability to check-in on the live camp cams, we can always see how much fun he's having. This is especially helpful when we have to travel and he has an extended stay at Camp. We still miss him, of course, but we can rest easy knowing that he has the best of care while we're away. We can also set up some one-on-one playtime as an extra treat (just him and a counselor) or try out their new peanut butter Picasso puppy paintings! The availability of basic grooming on-site is an added bonus. We used to take Bucky to a popular pet chain for grooming, but now we just get him a puppy spa day as we like to call it - a full day of play followed by a nail trim, teeth cleaning, a bath, and some fresh cologne (typically blueberry or lavender). On the puppy parent side of the house, the staff and counselors are always very courteous, kind, polite, and helpful! We have never had a negative interaction or experience at Camp Bow Wow. They keep us apprised of Bucky's behavior and let us know if an illness is spreading in the community (whether or not it has impacted any campers yet). This is especially helpful when Bucky needs a vet visit, as it provides a more holistic picture for us to relay. All in all, we love everything about Camp Bow Wow and would recommend it to anyone seeking open-play doggie day care! We will definitely keep going here and will bring any future pups along.

As long as our dog was doing well. When we arrived home, we realized that her bed was missing. I called and asked about her bed. They placed me on hold for 5 minutes... Not a good sign.. they told me they were still looking and that they would call us back tomorrow morning. Havind never received a phone call, I called them at 10:00 a.m. and was told that they were still unable to find the bed. A staff member overheard her talking and said oh sorry your dog shredded it the first night. So, our dog was without her bed for four nights and no one bothered to inform us? We also found out by that same person that they threw out her dog toy because there was feces all over it... Again you didn't think to tell us about this? That's pretty serious because my dog had diarrhea when we picked her up yesterday and this morning. Could that be the reason??! I also found out that they had over 100 dogs yesterday!

Countryside not only performed a surgery to remove one of my guinea pig's eyes, but was also extremely caring and compassionate when pre-existing issues slowed the healing process. Countryside was again very sympathetic and kind when another of our guinea pigs passed away. We also have a senior dog that we have learned so much more about since bringing her to Countryside. Since we have had such a variety of veterinary needs, I think we have gotten to speak with each of the vets that work at Countryside and I would trust them all with my pets. Each vet takes the time to educate us on the issue and provide more information if needed. Every other staff member has very kind and friendly to us! I can see why someone would say their services are somewhat pricey, but you are paying for quality care. I know they are not here to take advantage of concerned pet-parents. Countryside had plenty of opportunities to overcharge me for follow-up visits or products, but were instead always compassionate and showed they genuinely cared about my pet's health. They also have an app and rewards program - which helps! I appreciate Countryside and the care they have given to our family so much, I continue using them even since moving out of the area. I absolutely recommend them for their amazing service from the vets and staff!

We went for a routine visit today and, boy, how have things have changed for the worse. First we had to wait in a very small room where the only place to sit was stool with very wobbly legs and one of which seemed broken. So we stood. After a 10 minute wait, a technician came and went and the doctor came in and there was still not even an introduction until we asked for it. All our kid's shots were brought up to date and the bill came in just under $500 but there was a $12 surcharge because we didn't pay cash. This was all because they refused to authorize a prescription to renew heart worm medication for our girl without an office visit. The visit was routine since it all needed to be done anyway. If we had known before we went this time what we know now, we would never have gone. We're looking for a new vet now. We're done with Countryside. If you find a good one, cherish them. I hope they'll stay good for you. These guys aren't the ones.

I was in need of dry food for my cat and every single place I had stopped was completely out of it. I thought that maybe PetSmart would be the place that would actually have this. Walked in and navigated to the cat section. Checked the shelf, and it was a negative. I even scoped out the top shelves to makes sure it just wasn't pulled forward. Even though they did not have the exact item, I did grab a bag and head towards the registers. Why in the world was the worst part about this store? Like they planned for it to be a total breakdown area. I got to the register and there was only one open. I was third in line and more were coming behind me. The hold up was a customer had an item that just happened to not be scanning and was the last one in the store. Instead of seeing that a line was forming of people and opening another register, both the cashier and another employee went off to search for a solution. Finally, another employee came to their senses and noticed that we were all just standing around. Another register opened and the line started to go down. By the time I had gone through the register they still hadn't got through that customer with the unscanable item.
