This review is long overdue! I've brought my vintage RV to Wagner RV several times now, and every experience has been fantastic. They always manage to get me in the same day, and Dave (the owner) is incredibly helpful and down-to-earth. Roberto and Cowboy are amazing--they've worked on my RV in the past, and most recently they saved me from what felt like a total disaster. I had a massive leak that was pouring water out the back like Niagara Falls, and within an hour, they had tracked it down and fixed it. We brought-in our 2018 27' Outback trailer to get the water heating coil repaired and have them perform a spot maintenance check before we our move to Michigan. I have to say we were impressed. Dave and Stan were responsive, timely, and reasonably priced. In the past, we'd take it to where originally purchased the trailer in 2018, at Mike Thompson's RV in Irvine. I brought my Ekko here for some minor repairs under factory warranty. All the issues were quickly fixed and the bill sent to Winnebago. When I came back to pick up the vehicle, he was on the phone telling another customer that he was able to fix their vehicle for almost nothing and that they didn't need a new fuel pump. The customer was insisting on the pump, but was told that although Wagner RV would love the extra money, they don't do business that way. I wish more companies operated that way! I've never seen a place operate like this, even making allowances for the shaggy way some Morongo Basin folks operate. A couple years after paying them, as requested, they've delivered the materials but have failed to do the installation. Details follow, in the hope they are useful: Stan at Wagner RV schedules work (760.363.1188). Dave is the repair guy who quoted me for new fabric and installation for a front awning. 'Cowboy' is a capable worker who actually does things when he's not pinned between Dave and Stan. On May 5 2023 I paid them, as requested. Dave promised many dates through May 7 to 15 July. No shows, all. I often called, and often talked to Stan, who said "Dave forgets things 5 minutes after you talk to him and said 'schedule through me'". I did schedule through Stan and Dave together, they promised 19 or 20 July, was a no-show both dates and did not respond to calls. I Talked 24 July to Dave, who actually said that Stan "had brain surgery and 'forgets'" (!!) Dave promised Friday 28 July, no-show, no contact. Dave did come out 29 July, when he then said we need to move the RV to complete the installation. It's hard to reach them by phone, here's a log of texts from Wagner with the result added in caps: May 9 2023 - 'I will install it . They were so flexible and accommodating and said they could fix it and to bring it in the same day. True to their word, we brought it in and they fixed it. They even had to go get a part for us. I'm particularly interested in learning from him about skoolie conversions and how to handle repairs while in the backcountry. I was/am traveling from Texas in my 1994 Winniebago brave with my wife and kiddos and as soon as we entered California there was some nosies and the engine started to sound funny. I pulled to the side and the engine quit on me. It was a Sunday everyplace was closed. Wagner RV picked up the phone and had someone at the yard to let me tow my rv too. They diagnosed it and had me fixed up in less then 24 hours. The mechanic and the shop owner were very friendly and c they were very communicative. I feel so lucky to have found them. It took this company Wagner RV repair 2 and a half months to complete a repair on our RV. the owner of the company kept saying that the repair guy would show up promptly between (time window) for days on end and never show up! The repair guys were even at our RV park working on another project when they were supposed to be there working on ours per owner of company at the specified time of 10:00. The RV guys then proceeded to leave the site after completion of work to go to another site. The owner again said they would show up promptly the next day at 0900, again no show. This conversation took place over again and again for a period of 2&1/2 months. Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! THE WORST, NO SHOWS, UNDEPENDABLE! We dropped off our horse trailer at Wagner RV for a trailer inspection. We were selling our trailer to someone in Colorado and they wanted the inspection before driving out. Wagners called and told the person buying our trailer that it needed all new brakes (plates/pads/shoes) which was a complete lie because the trailer brakes work great! They even sent him pictures of brakes that weren't from our trailer! So the buyer told him to not do the work without authorization from us. My husband went down to check them out. They refused to show him the old brakes and had already started installing the new brakes. He made them stop immediately. They proceeded to call both myself and the buyers to say "I thought you horse people are safe" and even went as far as saying "everyone that brings a horse trailer here wants new brakes" blah blah blah They charged the card $600 for an inspection that took 2 hrs and no repairs (because the trailer was in great condition). Then they charged the buyers card $875 for the brake repair and refused to refund. They told him they would mail him a cashiers check in a few wks!!!!! Terrible lying scammers! We were traveling through Palm Springs in our 2022 Thor Hurricane 31C and pulled into a parking lot behind the Tennis courts in Cathedral Canyon Country Club. I pulled out the two slides to checkout a sliding door in the RV. After fixing the sliding door and upon pulling the slids back in one side of the main slide would not work and was stuck. We called Wagner RV repair and they came out within an hour. Both repair men did a great job and repaired the slider within two hours. They new what they were doing and just happen to have a spare motor part to fix the damaged. Great job young men. read more

Requested the RV to be completely repaired. Took them 6 months and we had to have all repairs redone. Nice people there but not looking for friends. The quality is poor. The RV was not safe to drive. Said they fixed the air conditioner, never worked. Luckily we found two local shops to actually fix with excellent pricing warranty their work. I rented a Cruise America RV, and the electrical system stopped working. No AC in Joshua Tree is a disaster. Cruise America was very slow in their response. I found Wagner via Google search.
