Had landed in Rapid City that morning and the Badlands was the planned destination for the afternoon. Staff was friendly, and the burgers were good. I ordered a Coke, and they just hand you a cold can. They did bring me a cup with ice when I asked but in a sit down restaurant it was a little weird to me. Not the most polished place but not many options in the area. It hit the spot and gave us a good start to the afternoon.

Restaurant and bar area with the family. We got pizza and burgers. Good times. Good eats and drinks for the area.

Good vibes, drinks, and eats for the area if you're visiting the Badlands. :) We got pizza, burgers, and a few adult beverages. All goooood!

If you're staying in Badlands National Park and want a tavern, you might think to go to Wall. Me, I'd go to Wagon Wheel. - Old school saloon with bar, pool table, game machines. - No draft beer but they have a decent selection of bottles and cans. - Menu is limited. I'd stay away from the bison burger (dry, flavorless) and go for the pizza. - Friendly attentive service.

This is a typical bar for this part of the country I believe. But they treated us super nice and were welcoming. The food was basic but good. Check them out when staying in the Badlands.

Food was very good! Had a pepperoni and sausage pizza, corn dogs, and onion pedals. Worth the 2 mile drive out of the park. Good service as well!!!

We had a delicious dinner before entering Badlands National Park! This bar and grill was one of the few restaurants in Interior SD and we decided to try it out. The waiter / owner was very friendly and he was prompt. We ordered three homemade pizzas and the owner was honest to tell us how long the wait was before putting in our order. They were only able to heat one pizza at a time. The pizzas were very delicious. The bison burger (or buffalo burger?) was disappointed though. The meat was very hard and overcooked - not sure if that was the way the meat was supposed to be. The interior decor was cute. It had a few arcade machine and billiards table inside. Very classic small town bar, great experience there.

Service was great! My friend and I were the only ones in the bar but our server was kind and the ambiance was fun for a western bar pub. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, build your own pizza and onion petals. Im vegetarian and was worried about finding options in South Dakota and was happy to be fulfilled here. The food came out super fast. It was nothing special but it was exactly what we needed on our extrenuous hiking day.

Only place to eat in interior, SD. Bar keep was nice and friendly. Because it is bar food it gets 3 stars as you cannot obtain 5 stars in my opinion. The fries were hot and the burger was just okay. Did not coke with anything on it besides onions. Was cheap and affordable.

Came in for a burger and a drink. Sat at a table and the bartender quickly gave us menus and took our drink order. He came back with the drinks and took our food order. Got the buffalo burger and fries which was not bad but not gourmet as we were in a bar. Bottom line, service was great, food was ok. I would eat there again.

Cheap beer and great service. Great for a quick lunch or dinner stop in the badlands. Friendly people all around.

We followed the yelp recommendations and we weren't sorry. We left the badlands park área for a mile or so to get here and then returned

Loved the cheese balls in this little remote friendly joint. Burgers and fries were great too, we'd definitely go back.

These fry bread tacos are worth going out of you way to give them a try. fast service, it's a simple good old fashion bar but the ambiance is nice. Again go out of your way if you're near there and enjoy a meal.

There not much in the way of good food within many miles of here, so people come to Lulu's, which…read moreis at least hot and cooked to order. The menu is limited -- just a few sandwiches and the fry bread. That fry bread is fried fresh for you by Lulu, in a truck parked outside (in oil that's probably not fresh), but the result is a hot and fluffy and decadent base, on which Lulu piles the kinds of ingredients a 10-year-old would choose: cheap ground beef, packaged shredded cheese, iceberg lettuce, canned olives, sour cream, etc. Hot sauce optional. It's a warm and satisfying cholesterol bomb served with a plastic fork. If you don't expect more, you'll be fine. If you're not from around here, the bigger attraction may be that Lulu's is quite the authentic South Dakota roadside bar: a simple paneled structure with a gravel parking lot, bar-only seating, country music playing, and a room full of video games. The sad thing is that this may be the best meal you'll find in Badlands if you don't bring food in yourself. I hear the burger is ok, too, but if a burger is what you want, I'd seriously rather drive to the Salty Steer in Wall.
