I found this business through a local vet I had called because I was desperately in need of getting our old timer groomed and due to his age, he was prone to having accidents. The groomers we had been taking him to previously told us they could not tolerate his incontinence to groom him anymore, and I was left scrambling to find someone who would be willing and patient enough to help him. Well. Fast forward to TDDW-! Roz said she would be happy to give it a try, and she did exactly that. She was kind, gentle and gave him a beautiful haircut and bath. Her demeanor is very calm and that was exactly what Milton needed. He also has some senior dog skin issues, which she cleaned and recommended a good cleaning product for his after care (on Amazon where she found it to be the cheapest, and did not try to sell me anything-!)! I am very grateful to have found Roz and am happy to be a returning and very satisfied customer. I don't know what I would have done without her!! Thank you TDDW-!!!

I happened to pass "The Soggie Doggie" on my way home from work and I decided to check it out and I was very pleased! This is a new Pet Grooming business and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Meghan, one of the owners, is very friendly and knowledgeable. She made the proper recommendation and My dog came out looking and smelling like a million bucks!! I was VERY impressed with the service and friendliness of this place. It's also a great location near Norwood center! I highly recommend The Soggie Doggie for anyone who needs a great spot to clean the dog or cat!!!

The care that they…read moregave my first poodle throughout his life was outstanding but most importantly was the care during the last 12 months of his life as he battled cancer. They were beyond compassionate. Understood that all his appointments had to be made around his radiation and chemo treatments and overall gave him 110% care. After his passing I finally got a second poodle who is fearful but he loves the ladies there and because of their fear free certification (something I also go to a vet with) I feel safe leaving him. As you can see in the picture he's a very calm happy boy there. And my girl goes in and greets them like long lost family. She'd live in the salon if she could. Absolutely recommend

Simon (my Shih-tzu) walked willingly to the room where he was to be made beautiful . I was relieved to see Simon so relaxed. The place and the folks working there have a good vibe. Much to my surprise, Simon was washed, groomed and dried in a couple hours. I came back to get him. HE WAS BEAUTIFUL . I'm fearful that giving this place a fantastic review will make it hard for me to get future appointments, but I have to! A wonderful place with people who are clearly dog lovers. Extremely Disappointed - No Patience for Puppies or Professionalism…read more Honestly, this has been the worst daycare experience I've ever had--and I work at a vet clinic, so I'm familiar with the standards of care and behavior management expected around animals. On just my puppy's second half-day, I received a call saying he was being kicked out due to "anxiety." He's a 5-month-old puppy, still learning, and yes--he chews, like all puppies do. Instead of redirecting that behavior or giving him any sort of chance to adjust, the manager claimed he was "destroying property" by chewing the fence and decided he was not a good fit. I was told he was pacing and not playing with other dogs. But pacing doesn't necessarily mean anxiety, and he has never shown signs of anxiety in the month we've had him. In fact, during his first visit, the staff said he was sweet, well-behaved, and even called him their favorite. So which is it? It felt like a complete 180 overnight--with no attempt to work with him, redirect behaviors, or help him settle in. Puppies need time, patience, and structure--not to be written off after one or two short visits. The experience leads me to believe that the staff, especially the manager, may lack the proper training or understanding needed to support puppies still in their developmental stages. I truly hope they consider additional training in animal behavior and communication--because right now, it seems more about convenience than care.

I ask him if he wants to go play with the doggies, and he jumps up and down and races to get in the car! A couple of years ago, I added a small min pin to our menagerie and wasn't sure how he'd do with so many other dogs, but he also loves going. The staff is genuinely affectionate with the dogs. My dogs always greet the staff with wagging tails and get lots of petting and attention. Amanda does a really great job not only looking after them but with their bathing and grooming.
